Nice lobby and front desk clerk, very friendly. However, in the room there was an odor in the room that got stronger when the air conditioner went on. It was a cross between dirty coffee water, and a bag of old chips, not too pleasant. The room is very narrow as you enter, as is the entire room. The street noise was loud, you could hear the engines of the cars zipping past late at night, and you are not even in Old Towne per say. The breakfast was simple and nice, HOWEVER how can you not have cream or a creamer for coffee??????????? There was 2% milk and oat milk for coffee. Not one single container of creamer liquid or powder. This would be cheaper than oat milk! Anyway, the breakfast bar person said no we don't have any of that. It can not be that expensive. Also, you have to pay for parking which truthfully should not exist b/c you can NOT park anywhere nearby. They got you there!! Not sure I would stay there again, only if there was no place else.

May 31, 2025 · Blue SkiesUnless you want to get charged FOUR TIMES for a one night stay, do NOT stay here!! I paid in full on Expedia and was charged for another full night on my credit card. I called to correct this and my debit card was charged again. I called AGAIN and that charge was reversed but never the original extra charge to my credit card. I called AGAIN and spoke with the manager and they charged my credit card ANOTHER TIME. This is absolutely ridiculous! Still waiting for my multiple refunds for a stay weeks ago. Absolutely ridiculous.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kayleigh MageeThis is not a new hotel. I booked this room straight from the Marriott Bonvoy website, and it showed me the wrong picture. This is an old hotel that they bought and refurnished. I was unable to sleep because I could hear people walking upstairs. , and I could tell they were walking normally but it was so loud like the there is something wrong with these old floors. The restroom floor and door were dirty, the bedding is POLYESTER, and the breakfast is literally just 3 kinds of cereal, oatmeal, bagels, powdery eggs, and scary looking “sausage” patties. They didn’t even have toast!!!!!! I have stayed at many Fairfield Inns and my favorite part is the vibrant colors and the breakfast; this hotel was neither. Marriott cheated and robbed us with this hotel.
May 02, 2025 · Gerge SrraitDon't stay here, the rooms aren't worth paying $60. I have attached the photo used for this property, it is not this property, this is not a NEW property as both website and app state. I just pulked out the oahamasbI wore to sleep in this hotel and they smell like mold. I am a member and travel for both business and pleasure, and this was my part of my vacation. This was the worst room I have had through 10 states in the last 15 days and counting. I would never guess this was a Marriott property if it weren't for the tree sun shade. It smelled like backed up sewage in the lobby when I checked in with what sounded like a high powered air mover on someplace nearby, I was charged $10 to park in a handicap spot in their empty parking lot, the door to our room was stuck ajar (I thought someone may have been in the room) and would not open, poor woman who works here had to come and shoulder the door open, our room smells off, it looks as though the sink is currently or has recently been leaking into the living room wall as the wall paper is bubbling away from the wall all over going to adjoining wall behind sofa and this room is 89 degrees with climate control turned off and extremely humid, there is mold all over this ac/heat unit, the most awful flat pillows as I now have woken up with a terrible migraine, there is something gross on my bathroom floor, marks and dirt and chunks of something all over the walls in here, you can see streaks from poor attempts at cleaning on the table surfaces, there is debris and other things on the carpets I dont wabt to think about, I took many pictures as we leftbthe property of our room, the tv is halfway across the room in front of the couch not the bed and not adjustable. The shower is filthy with stains mold, filthy afn/vent, the toilet was leaking, we won't be showering here now either, terrible linenes half used toiletries which several arentvthe brands Marriotts use, I did open a face wipe and chose not to use it because the fragrance was so overwhelming and honestly stunk. This was a complete waste of approaching $200 after a AAA discount. I would never absolutely stay at this property again or recommend it to anyone. I selected this one from my Marriott Bonvoy app telling me this was a brand new property and the picture was of a brand new Fairfield, not of the property we arrived at, which is fraudulent. This was apparently another lower grade/dated/cheap motel that they purchased and just slapped up some wallpaper and their sign in a obscured place up high and few other things. My husband was having trouble staying awake to continue driving after visiting friends in Mesa so we didn't want to drive all the way back to Cottonwood/Jerome as originally planned. I really wish we had, trying to get ready so we can just get out of here. I checked the bed for bugs, so we just slept enough to jump up and leave and ve on our way to Cottonwood/Jerome. The pictures above listed here are if the former hotel that was here prior I guess, and it looked 200% cleaner/nicer than it does now. If this was a person's first experience with Marriott properties, they would never want to return.
