For the price of the hotel, I was initially skeptical about the quality of the accommodations. However, it turned out to be a great hotel. The rooms were basic and simple, equipped with the usual amenities. The main issue I encountered was the lack of a breakfast buffet. The hotel advertised this feature, but all they offered was a continental breakfast consisting of bagels, juice, cereal, milk, apples, and coffee. This was quite disappointing. Additionally, the drawer setup in the two-bedroom suite was inadequate, with only two drawers available. The bathroom was also very small, accommodating only one to two people at a time, and that's being generous. Customer service could have been better. The staff seemed more focused on just doing their job rather than being friendly and welcoming. On the positive side, the hotel was situated in a decent area with good restaurants nearby. It was also very close to Old Town Scottsdale, which has a variety of breweries, bars, and brunch.

Everything was great. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. The only issue was the pool area. The towels were never restocked. Someone had left a mess, and it never got cleaned up over the course of our three day stay. Granted, it was the off-season for swimming, but the kids love to swim, so an inside heated pool was something that convinced us to stay there.

This is a great little hotel that seems to just have gone under a renovation. The rooms are large, clean and freshly appointed. The staff was very nice and allowed me to check in early as there was a room available. Great value for what I paid. It’s got older hotel bones so there’s small things that you’ll have to expect like a tight bathroom. They could use a larger sign which I assume they’re working on. Was difficult to spot even with my google maps navigating. Overall, great location, with new, clean and large rooms and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I'm going to be bold on this because the reviews weren't great but I had a pleasant time. It seems they may have been bought or are under reservation as some things seemed unfinished (breakfast area, room numbers taped to the walls, etc.) but the rooms were fairly clean, the price was low, and the location was great. A lot of things in the room seemed half installed (light fixtures were loose, TP holder would move, shower pressure was all over the place) but it was livable. I'd definitely come back and hope to give a higher review but some things definitely need to change. Give them a shot if you're on a budget or just need a quick stay. They also had a pool although we didn't use it. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

I’ve stayed at Hotel Scottsdale several times, and while I’ve dealt with ongoing issues—such as limited parking, difficulty using the front door, and needing to call the front desk just to access the hotel at night—this last visit was by far the worst. Upon checking into my room, I found drug paraphernalia (a meth pipe) inside. I immediately took photos and reported it to the front desk, expecting them to take the situation seriously. Instead, their response was beyond disappointing—they offered me a free ice cream bar and waived an admin fee. That’s it. This is completely unacceptable. Finding drug paraphernalia in a hotel room is a major health and safety issue that should have been handled with urgency. At the very least, they should have thoroughly investigated, ensured proper cleaning procedures were followed, and offered a full refund for such an unsafe and unsanitary experience. Instead, their response made it clear they did not take the matter seriously at all. I can no longer recommend this hotel to anyone. If basic cleanliness and guest safety aren’t priorities here, then I’d suggest staying elsewhere.
