Had an amazing experience at full moon this past weekend during our wedding. The team was super communicative the whole weekend and of course during the months of planning! We felt like everything was handled smoothly and didn’t stress out. The hardest part of figuring out where to room everyone, but it was worth it to have everyone on campus. The food was great. On Friday night we did Desi food instead of the BBQ and the chef nailed it — the food got high praise from my mom. I would recommend full moon to any couple that wants to have a wedding weekend in the Catskills - outstanding service and value.

I got married here at Full moon resort December 2024 and my husband and I had an amazing time and nothing but good things to say about the venue and staff. The entire staff was organized, welcoming, accommodating and went above and beyond to help create the perfect weekend and ensure everything ran smoothly. STAY AWAY from using photographer Kendal darling (K.darling photography), the Venue might recommend her as they did to me however using her was a terrible mistake. She’s a terrible photographer- don’t waste your money. My friends took better photos with their iPhones. She lacks the skill set of a true professional photographer and is not equipped to deal with different lighting situations. I was left with poor quality photos that looked very unnatural/ inhuman, pasty, shiny almost pop art like looking photos (happy to share if requested). Additionally, she does not provide direction when taking photos like most professional photographers do. luckily I had amazing bridesmaid who fixed my dress and gave input along to way. Lastly, serval guests commented that they noticed her standing around not taking photos throughout the night, as did I. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos with framing but I have memories that will last a life time— I want to thank full Moon Resort for playing a large role in that. Some vendors worth noting. I used Salt beauty for hair makeup and Michele was great! Beauty by Alexandria would also recommend. For music DJ dom was excellent!

The team at Full Moon went above and beyond every step of the way, and we could not have asked for a more welcoming, professional, and attentive group of people to help us celebrate our wedding weekend. Tia and her team were incredible in assisting with every detail of the room plans and guest accommodations. They took the time to ensure that everyone’s needs were met, including confirming guest lists and answering any questions our guests had throughout the weekend. This extra level of care made everything run smoothly and allowed us to focus on enjoying the experience. Morgan and her team truly went above and beyond all weekend long. They made sure that the bridal party and all our guests were treated with the utmost respect and care. From the morning of the wedding day, they ensured that the bridal party was well taken care of with food and drinks, keeping us hydrated and well-fed as we prepared for the big day. They were constantly checking in, making sure we had everything we needed and that every detail was perfect. They even helped set up our ceremony site, which turned out absolutely gorgeous. The food throughout the weekend was another highlight! Every single guest raved about how incredible the meals were, with many saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We were so impressed by the quality and variety, and the Full Moon team truly delivered an unforgettable culinary experience. Nicole’s presence and sense of humor made her a standout member of the bridal party team. She was attentive to every need, keeping things light and fun while ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the day. What stood out most to us, though, was the expertise and care Full Moon offers as a wedding venue. They specialize in weddings, and it’s evident in every detail, from the seamless coordination to the thoughtful, personalized service. Their list of trusted vendors was an invaluable resource for us, especially since we weren’t local to the area. We ended up going with Legion Fireworks, and as promised, they were fantastic! Our guests had an amazing time as well. Some went hiking through the beautiful surroundings and even spotted wild animals like bald eagles, bears, and deer. Others loved their cabins, which provided every comfort imaginable and made for a perfect stay. We truly had the most magical wedding weekend, and we are already looking forward to celebrating our 10-year anniversary at Full Moon. This venue and its amazing staff made our special day even more memorable, and we cannot wait to return to such a beautiful place with the most incredible team. We cannot recommend Full Moon highly enough. We discovered Full Moon when friends of ours got married there in April 2022 - we had a fantastic time; the venue was beautiful, we loved the fact that the whole guest list got to stay on-site and enjoy the entire weekend together, and the staff made everything seamless (even with weather emergencies!) When we started looking for our venue, it was at the top of our list, and the more venues we compared it to, the more it stood out - not only for quality but also for affordability/value and responsiveness. Key things that stood out: a beautiful venue, the ability to hold all events on-site and have your guests nearby, full-service (catering, bar, coordination, rentals, bakery - all part of the package!), quality food and bar options, and an INCREDIBLY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE STAFF who made the whole event run smoothly and even helped accommodate some extra side events. They helped us add so many small touches to our event – from a slideshow during the welcome BBQ to karaoke at the after party, every weird idea we had was facilitated, and it made our weekend so much more special. The team at Full Moon is the best - they are such professionals. They run 2 weddings a weekend (Friday-Sunday and Sunday-Tuesday) for most of the year, so you know they’ve got it down to a science and have seen everything that could go wrong - and helped fix it quickly! If you’re looking for a smaller/more affordable option, the Sunday-Tuesday slot has a lower guest count minimum and price point (100 guest min as of October 2024). They work with you on planning out the weekend, support the complex process of getting all your guests assigned to rooms on site, and are generally rock stars. We expected to be stressed on our wedding day, but we really just got to enjoy it. Shout out to Kayla, Nikki, Tia, Corrine, Morgan, and the whole team - thank you for an incredible weekend!
