My husband and I absolutely loved our 4-night stay here. We were in Room 12, which is at the end of a hallway on the first floor. Although the room is not very large, it has a super comfortable bed, 2 comfortable chairs, and a large work desk. The shower has good water pressure and heats up quickly. There is a white noise machine in the room which we used, and it was very quiet at night so we had wonderful sleep. We loved the easy access to the kitchen where there are free snacks, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and filtered water. Our room and the whole house is beautifully decorated, clean, and well maintained. Nancy is very sweet and fun to talk to. She also gave us a great restaurant recommendation. The house is in a nice neighborhood and very walkable to Harvard Square and many restaurants. It was an easy train ride to and from the airport and Boston. We definitely would stay here again when we return to Cambridge.

Apr 07, 2025 · Angie WooWe've stayed at the lovely Ginkgo House twice now, and greatly enjoyed both. The house itself is very comfortable with a shared kitchen space for guests on the first floor, and artwork on display. The staff, especially Nancy, are always welcoming and friendly. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and amenities, including a small fridge. Both times we've been able to reserve parking as well, which is great considering the limited space (and pricing!) in Cambridge. It's within walking distance of Central Square and the Red Line and is on a quiet side street.
Apr 15, 2025 · Karen MelchiorI had a wonderful stay at Ginkgo House. The location is excellent—convenient and quiet—and the house itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and well-equipped with everything you might need. The service was also great. Nancy was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay and I really appreciated her support. I’d be very happy to stay here again in the future!
May 09, 2025 · S SA wonderful, tranquil stay. It's a little like walking to your own home: quiet, cozy and clean. I stayed here while visiting MIT and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants, yet residential nearby. Definitely recommend if you want to avoid the typical impersonal feel of hotels.
May 23, 2025 · Jessica ThomasIncredibly kind and lovely owners. The rooms are very cute and incredibly clean. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood during the day and at night. The shared kitchen and living room area is also very cute and well stocked with fruit, tea, and coffee. Would definitely stay again!
