We booked a room at Admiral's Quarters as it was one of the only accommodations in town that would allow a one-night stay on a December weekend. We were greeted with warmth and welcome by Jersey, the innkeeper. He showed true pride in the property and excitement for our visit. The two buildings host a small number of rooms, both have a common area kitchen, stocked with breakfast foods, beverages and snacks, and comfortable living areas. We were delightfully surprised by the inn's wonderful amenities and were able to make ourselves a filling breakfast and enjoy it with a stunning view. The room was straightforward but was very clean with a sizable closet and sitting room. The space was comfortable and quiet, the keys to a perfect hotel room. Jersey shared the upcoming renovations to the property, making us excited to return. The hotel website currently does not do the property justice in terms of the amenities, location or experience but we understand this is due to the numerous positive updates.

Dec 22, 2024 · Jenna SwainOur recent stay was over the November 1st weekend and everything was fantastic starting on the day we arrived. We were met by the caretaker “Jersey” in the parking lot and he quickly began to unload our car and bring our things to our room. Once we were settled Jersey began a quick tour of the layout, added some interest about Boothbay Harbor and some of the restaurants. By the way, ALWAYS listen to Jersey on restaurant recommendations. (The one day we didn’t was our worst meal on the entire trip. 😄) All told, staying here was a great choice and we plan to come back again.
Nov 09, 2024 · Michael PeluccoGreenleaf Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. It is clear that Mary and Sean have spent a lot of time making sure every detail of this property creates a special experience for their guests. The view is absolutely unbeatable with multiple patios and seating areas around the property both inside and outside. Even better that we could lay in bed and look out the big windows and watch the boats come in and out of the harbor when it was a little rainy. The space was always very clean including the kitchen which was shared among guests. We had full use of the kitchen with a fridge stocked with water, eggs, bagels, milk, juice, and other snacks as well as fresh muffins on the counter in the morning. The coffee and tea bar was always stocked with my favorites and French vanilla creamer in the fridge. It was quiet and we never heard the other guests. Beds were so comfy! The location is perfect, within minutes from tons of shops and restaurants. Mary checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much. She gave tons of recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back!
Jun 26, 2024 · Kalie PlesherWe had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Greenleaf & Admirals Quarters. Check in and check out was very easy. We stayed in room 13 which had a comfortable, large seating area and a king bed. The view from the seating area was GORGEOUS, looking over the harbor. A balcony opened from our seating area onto a shared porch that ran the length of the building. Our room was clean and well decorated. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was very loud and we had to turn it off at night while we were sleeping. It wasn't hot during our stay so this didn't bother us. The rest of the property was well decorated, clean and had several shared spaces with great views of the water. There is no "breakfast" provided, however muffins/pastries and fruit from the grocery store were provided. There is a large shared kitchen that could be used to make your own breakfast if you wished. Another thing we loved about staying here was the location in that we could walk everywhere in town and keep our car at the Greenleaf. This would be a lovely stay for a romantic getaway to Boothbay.
Jul 01, 2024 · Amanda RzepkowskiWe stayed in room 10, right off the shared kitchen/sitting room. The room was super cute, comfortable and very clean. Mary, the host/manager was super friendly and walked us around showing us the space. Our room even came with fresh flowers which was such a nice touch. This inn is within walking distance to the entire downtown and also has free parking for its guests (huge plus as the parking areas downtown are full by midday). The inn was quiet with great picturesque views of the harbor and nicely landscaped. We could not ask for a better place to stay and will stay again if we come back to the area!
