Really enjoyed our stay at this inn in Boothbay Harbor. You can’t beat the location—just a short walk to all the restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. The room was clean and comfortable, and while the place is a bit dated, it honestly didn’t bother us at all, especially for the price. The highlight was definitely the view of the harbor—such a cool spot to relax and take it all in. Would definitely stay here again!

May 17, 2025 · Madison WilliamsStayed in room 127. Fantastic views of the harbor. Room was very clean and adequate for two adults. King Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is small, sink is outside of the bathroom with the coffee maker. Small refrigerator in closet. We would stay at this hotel again.
Dec 14, 2024 · Roland B.At christmas time prices are very affordable. You can get rooms overlooking the pier, during the summer you hear boats toot but during the winter we didn't hear any at all. The only part of the hotel for amenities is the view. They have rooms with balconies with chairs to sit in. They don't offer a pool but in the summer they have a outside hot tub. The soda machine inside and outside don't appear to be working. They have multiple areas for parking, free parking. This hotel is seasonal and closes december 31st and reopens in may. This town is a ghost town in december so there's nothing to do other than going out to eat (very limited), a gas station, hannaford and maybe one or two other things. But if you want peace and solitude with a nice view this is the place to go. We stayed in the main building third floor king room with a balcony, in december prices are very reasonable. Kids will find this place very boring unless you find things to do around town during the summer time, but nothing to do in the winter. Our room had a '60 inch tv, a very small mini fridge, a kingsize bed, a kurieg machine, they give you four pods, a microwave, ac/heat access, cell phone charging stations and other minor things. The room was very clean. There's no extra blankets in the closet like most hotels but that's just me being nit picky. I recommend if you want to see the sunset to go to the parking lot near the tug boat restaurant. They also have their own restaurant called the same name and it's the model of a real historic tugboat. I will review the restaurant in its own category on google maps. The receptionists especially the older one was extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with. The view at night across the harbor is beautiful, the church is lit up and it's nice to look at. The hotel has no elevator so certain areas have a lot of stairs, however they offer a couch for those who get tired walking so you can take a break and sit midway. The soap, shampoo and conditioner they offer you smells devine, they offer really good hygienic products for your stay. It was a very nice place and would return again. Overall, 4 stars!
Dec 22, 2024 · Tonia TaylorMy mother ran a four star hotel for twenty seven years. I was raised throughout my childhood spending time there so I am fully understanding of how things tend to need to be. Upon arrival I was instructed to park in one area only to have to walk three hundred yards up the street to check in. Checking in was very pleasant and the staff there were very welcoming. Not more then an hour into my stay, rinsing off due to heavy traveling sounded wonderful. Immediately I scan the bathroom for hygiene. Seven long curly dark hairs in the tub, five of the same hairs around the toilet seat and four hairs plus black filament on the floor scattered. I am a man with a military haircut so clearly that was not from me. The rooms for the price could be fully updated. I certainly am not one to pick apart my stay or else I could further go on. I also am not someone seeking anything in return for this dismal stay. Simply wish the available rooms were better for the people pouring their hard earned money into this facility.
Oct 15, 2024 · Jeremy SweeneyIt'd been several years since our last stay. The view and location are outstanding and a big reason for our bookings. Although there were no big issues, the hotel is aging. The king bed was very comfortable but the duvet was too heavy and warm for the season. We don't like to pump up the AC just to offset the warmth. We removed the duvet and used some light weight blankets we brought with us instead but blanket options would be nice. Room and bath were very clean. TV was good and channel availability very good as was the WIFI service. Ambiance, service and food in the restaurant was very good.
