Location was great. Everything else was pretty middling. The biggest issue we had was that there was no functioning plumbing in the room they assigned us to. The shower did not work and toilet did not work. Maintenance confirmed that a piece was missing from the shower and that the water level of the toilet wasn't set correctly. But the steps they took didn't fully fix either of these issues. We had to request another room, which they didn't immediately agree to give us. When we did get it, we had to pack up all of our things in the middle of getting ready to attend a wedding and move them to a new room down the hall. It was not a great experience. Also, getting out of the hotel from the 12th floor was a nightmare on the day we left. The elevators are small, and couldn't really accommodate more than 3 - 4 people. Folks were waiting 15, 20 or more minutes to be able to grab an elevator to get to the lobby since everyone was leaving at around the same time. It's a nice building, and a great location, and the staff were friendly enough. But not having functioning plumbing in your room is a huge issue, and it wasn't treated with any real sense of urgency. I don't think we'd visit again after the experience that we had.

Apr 28, 2025 · Brendon LucasOur experience started with an unmotivated and unfriendly front desk agent who made check-in feel like a burden. Despite our early arrival, there was absolutely no flexibility – check-in is strictly enforced at 4:00 p.m. We were told we’d be notified once our room was ready, but no one ever got back to us. That lack of communication was frustrating. The hotel itself is clearly outdated and could use a refresh. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. But overall, we expected more from a hotel of this category.
Jun 16, 2025 · Ramon Sa4 stars for the room because there was no microwave in our room. Food would come in large portions at nearby restaurants, but there was not one in the room. Ended up finding one microwave on the 3rd floor near the ice machine...and I stayed on the 10th floor. Staff was nice, and I enjoyed having the valet service via a QR code. The timing was very accurate. LOCATION WAS AMAZING!!!! We walked several places including dinner and tourig downtown . it was not far at ALLLLLL
Mar 23, 2025 · Schan McLaurinGreat location. Helpful staff. But I can’t give a hotel a good review when the ability to have a good night sleep is poor. The pillows are SO THICK! It’s not possible to sleep and/or wake up without neck pain. And there are no other options available. When we asked the front desk about this they seemed to understand this is a common complaint. Overall just ok for the cost.
Apr 06, 2025 · Jeff MussroI had the pleasure of staying at the Hamilton Hotel in Washington, DC. I must highlight the outstanding service provided by Sabrina and Zeira at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to ensure my stay was exceptional. Sabrina was incredibly helpful with my check-in, making the process seamless and welcoming. Her attentiveness, positive energy, and dedication to guest satisfaction truly set the tone for a wonderful stay. Sabrina and Zeira are true assets to the Hamilton Hotel, and I sincerely appreciate the care they extended during my visit. The location is wonderful too. The room is small, hence 4 stars. Still, it's right in the middle of a bustling city and walking distance to food and entertainment. At the same time the hotel feels like a boutique in intimate, and the rooms are quiet. It was walking distance to the peach cobbler factory..yum!
