I stayed here in the past, and always enjoyed it. This time it was not as pleasant. The hotel location is good, the staff are friendly, the room was clean, but the hall way had garbage in the halls, and there was a foul smell of food and spice in the hallways. The entrance had a foul smell. Also, it was supposed to be a smoke free hotel, but we smelt cannabis during the entire time and it was powerful. We are both allergic to tobacco, grass, and cannabis and had to use our asthma pumps. I hope managment reads this, thank god we did not have to see a doctor that evening

Its proximity to the south end of Concord, the capital city of New Hampshire, means guests are just a short drive—approximately 3 miles—from downtown Concord, including the New Hampshire State House and the Capitol Center for the Arts. Other nearby points of interest include the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and the Concord Municipal Airport, both within five miles. This location offers the benefit of quick access to urban amenities while still providing a comfortable retreat.

Environment and Ambiance
The hotel generally aims to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment. The lobby is designed with an open-concept layout, offering a space where guests can relax. Reviews often highlight the presence of a lobby fireplace, contributing to a cozy atmosphere, especially during colder months. The hotel is spread across four stories and features interior corridors, housing 143 units. While the overall impression generally leans towards a contemporary hotel setting, some guest feedback indicates areas where the ambiance might be inconsistent. Specifically, some past guests have mentioned concerns about unpleasant odors in the hallways and at the entrance, described as a "foul smell of food and spice," and even cannabis. These instances suggest that while the hotel strives for a clean and pleasant environment, there may be occasional lapses in maintaining a consistently fresh atmosphere in all public areas.

Services and Amenities
The Hampton Inn Concord/Bow is known for its range of services and amenities designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers. A key offering is the complimentary hot breakfast served daily, providing a convenient and substantial start to the day. For guests on the go, Hampton's "On the Run® Breakfast Bags" are available Monday through Friday. The hotel also features an indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center, allowing guests to maintain their routines or unwind.

Guest rooms and suites are equipped with amenities for comfort and productivity. These include free high-speed internet access, a 32-inch HDTV for entertainment, and an alarm clock radio. For added convenience, some rooms with study areas feature microwave ovens and mini-refrigerators. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a coffee maker, hairdryer, and ironing facilities. The hotel prides itself on offering "clean and fresh Hampton beds®," aiming to ensure a restful night's sleep. Other services include laundry facilities, safe-deposit boxes at the front desk, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. The hotel is wheelchair accessible throughout its grounds.

Promotional Information
While specific, current promotional offers can vary and are best confirmed directly with the hotel or through booking platforms, Hampton Inn properties, including this one, frequently participate in various promotions. These can include Hilton Honors member discounts, seasonal deals, and package offers. Guests are encouraged to check platforms like Hilton's official website or third-party travel sites for the latest deals. Historically, the hotel has also appeared on platforms like Groupon for potential discounts. For the most up-to-date promotional information, direct inquiry with the hotel at (603) 224-5322 is recommended.

Customer Feedback and Considerations
While the hotel aims to provide a positive experience, it's important to consider past guest feedback. Many reviews commend the friendly staff, clean rooms, and good location. The complimentary breakfast is often highlighted as a positive aspect. However, some criticisms have emerged. Beyond the aforementioned odor issues in common areas, there have been instances where guests reported issues with staff interactions, with one review detailing a "bizarrely passive-aggressive" experience with a front desk employee, leading to a feeling of being a burden rather than a valued guest. Another significant concern raised by a past guest involved the smell of cannabis throughout the "smoke-free hotel," which caused allergic reactions, suggesting a need for stricter enforcement of the hotel's smoking policy. There have also been isolated reports of issues like non-functioning air conditioners or pool/laundry facilities being temporarily unavailable, though staff responsiveness to such issues has also been noted.

These varied experiences suggest that while the Hampton Inn Concord/Bow offers many desirable features and services, guest experiences can sometimes be inconsistent. Prospective guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" should consider these points when making their decision, perhaps by reading recent reviews to gauge current conditions. The hotel's convenient location and core amenities remain strong selling points, but attention to detail in guest experience and adherence to policies, particularly regarding the smoke-free environment, are areas where consistency is crucial for universal guest satisfaction.

This place gets one star, and that’s being generous. The older white man at the front desk was bizarrely passive-aggressive throughout our stay. Every interaction felt like we were a burden instead of paying guests. We grabbed some ice cream from the little shop in the lobby, and out of nowhere, he tells my wife she “should charge it to the room” and that “we probably shouldn’t buy that here.” Why even say that? It was awkward and totally unnecessary. There were towels, so I’ll give them that—but honestly, the front desk experience completely ruined the vibe. Zero hospitality, just weird energy. Won’t be coming back.

Very impressed with the staff and the pet friendly atmosphere. Our room was clean and quiet. My pup felt like a queen! Thank you for the hospitality, and the welcoming touch on the tv screen recognizing my status was also so very sweet! (Although I'm simple, I don't care about status... just respect) great staff! Thank you!

Excellent location, well taken care of hotel. Plenty of luggage carts, easily accessible parking lot with enough space, quiet, and everyone working here was very friendly. Rooms are updated, comfortable, and clean, and the bathrooms are as well. Ice machines work well, and the pool was VERY warm. Breakfast was good, many options, even a non dairy milk option for cereal/coffee. We will be back!

When we checked in and went to put stuff in the refrigerator we noticed it was growing mold. We called the front desk and a nice man came and replaced the fridge. The ac/heat unit leaked the entire time we were there and the floor in an entire corner of the room was soaked with several standing puddles of water. We checked in on a Thursday and checked out on a Monday and never had the room serviced at all even though it stated would be serviced every other day. We only had to kill one cockroach running from the drain in the bathroom. We were in room 259 but not sure with the issues if any of the others are in any better shape. Normally Hampton/Hilton hotels are the only place we stay but will be looking for a new place in Concord. For the price you would not expect all the problems at this location.
