My stay was very good. My room was clean and comfy. Morning breakfast was good. Overall, very happy. Plus Rudy's is a Texas BBQ place that is just down the block. Highly recommend.

Apr 07, 2025 · Dan ThiemI would avoid this hotel if possible. It's the cheapest in the area for a reason. I stayed here for 5 weeks on a work trip in multiple rooms. First they charge for parking and its not downtown, theres no other way to get there than by car, there no shortage of spaces. On my first night the sheet had a sticky pine tar on it. The window shades were broken in every room I was in. A half ass attempt at fixing them was made then maintenence told me they were un fixable and needed to be replaced. They never came back to replace them in 2 weeks. The shampoo and conditioner was empty when I got there and was not refilled at all. On one house keeping visit they didn't make the bed for some reason but did everything else (except refill shower items). On top of this they locked me out of my room with all my stuff in it when they said my corporate card declined. Would have been easy for them to call or email me and I could have increased the limit. But no, I come back from work not able to shower or go to the bathroom. All in all one of the worst hotels associated with the Hilton brand that I've been too and I travel 40 weeks out of the year. Overall a bad experience.
Mar 31, 2025 · Matt McSharryDon’t let the Hampton Inn name fool you into thinking this will be what every other Hampton Inn by Hilton is. This is like a Motel 6, with a Hilton name tag. I was told I would be charged for my service animal, who was clearly marked as a service animal when we entered the hotel. As a valued member of Hilton, I usually check in on the app and go straight to my room with my digital key. Here they would not allow you to check in on the app and approve the digital key. You HAD to stop by the front desk. I’ve been here 2 weeks for a work trip and both rooms are terrible. The black out curtains in both rooms were either missing or not operable. I didn’t even attempt to call maintenance because another coworker said they were no help. The first room was set to 73 when I arrived on Sunday afternoon, turned down the temp to 67, it finally made its way to 68 on Wednesday. Temps were not even high outside so the ac should have worked fine. The hallway on the third floor looks like it’s been ruined due to water, and they have poorly repaired it, water is laying on the floor by the ice machine. I had to attempt to block out the light or you should see directly into my room with a light on. The gal behind the desk when checking in was rude. When I checked out no one asked how my stay was, I’m sure they knew the answer and didn’t want to receive the feedback. If you need a place to stay, either pay for the higher price of the Homewood next door, or try the Fairfield by Marriott. If you are in a pinch and need to cut cost, just sleep in your vehicle.
Apr 07, 2025 · Jennifer GarmeneWe LOVE Hampton Inn & Suites so when we needed a room last min we decided to stay here. The location is good but it is hands down the worst Hampton Inn I have ever experienced. It’s a cheap motel with the Hampton logo. NOTHING about this stay is in keeping with the typical experience. Everything was pretty clean and the location is great- that’s the star. The details were lacking. Room was worn, wallpaper stained, breakfast eggs and sausage were cold, beds not comfortable, curtains in the lobby were unkempt, coffee cups teeny tiny and creamer was expired, we weren’t told about the $50 hold or charge for parking, no answer the multiple times we called for an extra pillow, tv remote didn’t work properly…too many little things to count. I left feeling like I paid over $200 for 1 awful nights sleep, gross breakfast and mediocre service. This Hampton did not meet the usual Hampton Inn expectations.
Mar 29, 2025 · Larisa RoseI'm a Gold Member, and I have to say this Hampton Inn ranks as one of the worst I've ever stayed at. It's incredibly dated and has a very shabby feel to it. We saw a piece of paper in our room upon checking in that the place is scheduled to be renovated, but they'd be better served by tearing it down and starting over. I was never welcomed as a Gold Member. I had to ask for the water bottles, and I was never offered one of their snack items upon checking in. I asked for one of the small plastic bag to carry the water - they were out of them. The breakfast area is tiny, with few tables, and has something like a 26" TV (which to me was actually an advantage, but in practical terms it was useless). The carpet in the halls and in the room were almost threadbare. The drain in the tub was so slow that taking a shower lasting more than a minute meant standing in the non-draining shower water. And they charge a $15 nightly parking fee. The hot breakfast was OK, usual items, but that's pretty much true of all Hampton Inns. I did not use the outdoor pool nor the fitness room, so I can't speak to those. Its location on the edge of Phoenix is OK if you don't mind driving, but if you want to enjoy any attractions in downtown Phoenix, you've a long way to go. On the whole, you can make do here, but it's mediocre at best. I probably wouldn't have written this review, but seeing the parking fee show up on my bill gave me the extra nudge to warn others if they choose to stay here. And don't bother with any "Response from the Owner" crap. You have no intention of changing anything, as my complaints are the same complaints from other guests. You've done nothing to fix stuff in the past, so there's no reason to think you're going to fix stuff in the future. You want a 5-star review? Take off the $60 parking fee from my bill for a start. Then we'll talk.
