This is the absolute worst Hampton Inn in the area do not stay there. The front desk does not do their job. I called down there twice over the middle of the night because the two rooms across from me had me up all night long and then all morning long the staff was incredibly rude and unwilling to do their jobs and be accommodating yet I paid for my room. I was unable to sleep the entire night, because the people checked in at midnight and decided to stand in the hallway for three hours with her children, letting them bang on everyone’s doors and scream. The general manager did nothing and fought with me at the front desk. . They told me I could have a later check out of 2 o’clock just as I fell asleep, housekeeping came and knocked on the door and woke me up again, and I told them to check with the front desk as they told me I was having a 2 o’clock check out I fell back to sleep again and then the front desk called and woke me up and told me I needed to leave and completely forgot about the fact that they told me 20 minutes before that I could stay the lack of communication between people in this building is absolutely unbelievable. They let everybody run wild and do whatever they want and don’t care that someone’s uncomfortable and didn’t get what they paid for which is a comfortable room to sleep in The main ward being sleep as I had to drive six hours and got none of it the absolute worst Hampton Inn in the area. Do not stay here. I repeat, do not stay here. There are plenty of other way better hotels in the area I have way better hospitality and much better front desk staff. I am absolutely appalled. By the treatment I received at this Hampton Inn, and I will never return there. And not for nothing they never emailed me my receipt either because they knew they were wrong and going to get a ad review so on top on the horrible treatment I got , I never even got my receipt. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. DO NOT STAY HERE. They only send receipts to people they know are going to give good surveys. Do better Hampton.

The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding—our room was spotless, and the entire property was well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be returning when in town!
Mar 22, 2025 · Alexandra G GI recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, NJ, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory due to the poor service from the front desk staff. From the moment we arrived, the front desk gentleman was unhelpful and quite rude. We had an issue with our park and cruise package, and instead of assisting us, he dismissively told us that because we used Hilton points, they didn’t count toward the package. His exact words were, “You ain’t parking here for 7 days when the room only cost you $45,” completely disregarding the additional Hilton points we had redeemed. Rather than helping us resolve the issue, he seemed more interested in throwing up our reservation details and directing us to Hilton customer service, which, unfortunately, was just as unhelpful. Aside from the poor customer service, the hotel itself had some functional issues. The shower barely worked, and overall, the employees didn’t seem to enjoy their jobs, which reflected in their attitude and service. On the positive side, the hotel was clean, had easy access to major roads even though the entrance is off a very busy thruway , and offered reasonably priced parking (if you end up having to pay for it). The rooms were comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was acceptable. However, due to the rude and dismissive treatment from staff, I would not recommend this hotel. Customer service plays a significant role in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this location fell short in that regard.

My family and I were very tired from a red eye flight from Arizona and had a reservation at a different hotel in the area that we were not happy at. From the moment we walked into the front lobby at this hotel, we were greeted by Emily who was very hospitable and helpful. She showed us their pool area and a room before we even made a reservation. The room was very clean, comfortable, and after a long day of traveling, it was exactly what we needed. The whole staff is very friendly and exceeded my expectations with their exceptional customer service. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had and one of the attendants, Karina, was so kind and helpful. Willie the maintenance tech was knowledgeable and friendly and the front desk agent Sadeen who checked us out had a lovely disposition. The General Manager, Lesly, was very professional, attentive and he even offered to let him know if we need anything, that he’d be happy to assist! The staff really made our stay a highlight of our trip and we would definitely stay again thanks to every team member going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Check in through app and digital Key was really convenient. Saw reviews of no hot water, I had really hot water for the shower! One big thing is the entrance to the hotel. You have to really really really look for on coming traffic from the connecting ramp or you could be crushed. Avoid entering or exiting during peak hours.
