For users in Bengaluru, India, searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and considering options in the broader global landscape, the Knights Inn South Hackensack presents itself as a budget accommodation choice in South Hackensack, New Jersey, USA. Located at 410 US-46, South Hackensack, NJ 07606, USA, this establishment operates under the phone number (201) 440-4476 and mobile phone +1 201-440-4476. It’s important to provide an objective introduction, incorporating all available information, including direct customer feedback and widely advertised amenities, to give a comprehensive picture for prospective guests.
When considering the environment of the Knights Inn South Hackensack, its strategic location directly on US-46 is a primary factor. This major highway ensures easy vehicular access, making it a convenient stop for travelers utilizing personal cars, buses, or trucks, with free parking available, including spaces for large vehicles. The surrounding area is typical of a roadside motel setting, featuring other commercial establishments and immediate access to transportation networks. While it may not offer scenic views, its primary draw is its practicality for those needing a transient stay or a base for local activities in South Hackensack, or for commuting to nearby areas such, as the Meadowlands Sports Complex (home to MetLife Stadium), Fairleigh Dickinson University, or even New York City. Despite being roughly 15-25 minutes by car from Times Square in NYC, the ease of access to major interstates like I-80 is a key environmental advantage for many travelers.
In terms of services, the Knights Inn South Hackensack generally provides basic, essential offerings common to economy hotels. A 24-hour front desk is available, ensuring that guests can check in or seek assistance at any time, which is a valuable service for travelers arriving late or departing early. One customer review specifically praised the front desk, noting, "The front desk was very nice needed a room until 4 am room was very clean water hot very nice place..." This indicates that at least some guests experience positive and accommodating interactions with staff. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary coffee and tea in a common area 24 hours a day, providing a simple convenience. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, which is a crucial amenity for both leisure and business travelers needing to stay connected. There is also a complimentary continental breakfast offered daily, though details on its variety are limited, with one review suggesting it might be basic. While some booking platforms mention a "business center," its specific features are not detailed, but it suggests an attempt to cater to business travelers.
The features of the Knights Inn South Hackensack, as gleaned from various sources and customer reviews, present a mixed bag. The hotel has 58 rooms spread across two floors, accessible via exterior corridors. Room types typically include King Bed and Two Queen Beds, with options for both smoking and non-smoking rooms, which is important for guests with preferences. Standard room amenities advertised include air conditioning, a desk, free in-room Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with premium cable channels, a coffee/tea maker, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination, free toiletries, and a hair dryer. Some listings also mention ironing facilities and alarm clocks. For those seeking additional comfort, "hot tub suites" are reportedly available. An elevator is present, enhancing accessibility within the two-story structure.
However, it is crucial to present the full spectrum of customer experiences regarding these features. While one positive review highlights a "very clean room" with "hot water," a highly detailed negative review outlines significant and concerning issues. This review states that "sheets, beds, mattresses and pretty much everything in the room was either dirty or stained." Specific problems reported include a "loud" and "rattling" air conditioning unit, unpleasant smells in the room, a carpet described as "filthy," cigarette burns on bed sheets, and the presence of cockroaches. The review also mentions a refrigerator that would turn itself off, a room door that wouldn't close completely, leading to noise disturbances, and infrequent bedsheet changes during a week-long stay. These reports suggest a potential inconsistency in room quality and maintenance standards, which prospective guests should be aware of. The "hourly rate" mentioned in one review is also a notable operational feature that might influence the clientele and overall atmosphere of the motel.
For promotional information within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, the Knights Inn South Hackensack would position itself as a highly accessible and affordable accommodation option. The marketing message would emphasize its strategic location near US-46 and I-80, offering easy commutes to regional attractions like MetLife Stadium and Fairleigh Dickinson University, and even to New York City for budget-conscious travelers. Key selling points would include:
The hotel's contact information, (201) 440-4476 and +1 201-440-4476, would be prominently displayed for direct bookings. While the hotel does not explicitly state a pet-friendly policy in the provided reviews, some sources indicate it is not pet-friendly. It's also worth noting that booking platforms give it a mixed rating, with some indicating "Mediocre" or "Fair" overall scores based on numerous reviews, particularly citing issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Therefore, a truly objective promotional message would acknowledge its budget-friendly nature and basic service, while setting realistic expectations regarding potential variations in room condition. The hotel's appeal primarily lies in its practicality and cost-effectiveness for travelers who prioritize these aspects over luxury or extensive amenities.

Oct 18, 2024 · Tel NuevoTo start off, This motel has an hourly rate (iykyk) Sheets, beds, mattresses and pretty much everything in the room was either dirty or stained. The air conditioning was loud to the point where I couldn’t sleep. It was rattling like it was going to explode. Obviously it smelled in the room. The carpet felt like someone spilled glue with filth all over it. Bed sheets had cigarette burns. Cockroaches come out at night and play Dora the explorer around bags and any food on the table (told the guy at the front desk about the cockroaches, he made a “omg no way!” Face, and nothing was done about it). The fridge was turning itself off whenever. The door wouldn’t close all the way, so whenever there was wind - it would sound like someone’s banging on it trying to get in. In a weeks stay, bedsheets we’re changed once.
Jun 08, 2024 · Comrade QbaDO NOT EVER STAY HERE. There was cocaine in my hotel room drawer and blood on the wall and we went to get a refund and there was a huge problem. We didn’t get one apology from the front desk guy and he didn’t even acknowledge my family and I. Luckily there were no kids with us I never seen anything like it. Then after speaking and struggling to get an agreement on getting a refund he wouldn’t give us proof of the refund. The refund never came into our account then the hotel claimed they never said they will give us one. Ridiculous. Save your time and money you will be better off sleeping in a bus station!
Apr 06, 2024 · Athena KonstantarosReading these reviews and actually experiencing the Knights Inn, it's almost like we're talking about 2 different places. I had an extended stay and found the room clean, the front desk staff friendly and responsive. Is it the Waldorf? No, but I was pleased with the value that I received.
Jul 07, 2024 · Web NinjaI'm editing my review now that I have the attention of the hotel administrator or at least someone who I would assume would have the ability to relay the concerns thank you so much for the accommodations and your hospitality and the options that you provided for myself and my guests but I would like to perceive was asking a question in the capacity that you stand in our society as a proprietor having the ability to shelter individuals at what capacity does your location fully operate and if there is at least 25% that maybe you can donate to the homeless community I'm certain you'd received some type of Grant something that would allow you to even upgrade your facility by providing such a service registering with your local chamber of commerce as a not just a corporation but perhaps a benefits corporation or maybe opening a 501c and then donating that 25% of the hotel to individuals who are in need of shelter long-term or short-term probably are thinking it's a corporate thing but you are an ownership of a franchise which could possibly stimulate the actions across the entire corporation to join suit there's my review update thank you
