Hemlock Hall is the special place my family loves to go. My parents discovered it 20 years ago and told us all about this wonderful place they had discovered. The food is amazing, the lake is so peaceful, the old Adirondack house is so beautiful, and the people who work there are kind and very thoughtful. I personally feel like it's my home in the Adirondacks, and I love getting to spend even just a day having a meal there. My children love it and look forward to spending time there with us too, and its the one place they especially ask to go each year. My parents love spending time with us there. Our past visit this week was just what I needed, I didn't even mind the rain Saturday afternoon because it was so cozy reading inside looking out at the lake while my family played games. My favorite part of the house is the big wrap around porch with rocking chairs facing the lake. All I need is my cup of coffee, which is provided all day, and a book and I'm happy. We had a little difficulty this time, and Diana and Chelsea helped us out, and we are extremely grateful! We look forward to many more good times at Hemlock Hall❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful! And a great way to disconnect from everyday life. No TV. Loved everything about it. Family style breakfast and dinner. Went with 6 of my friends and we loved everything. Bob Booth from the marina stopped over in a pontoon boat and took us on a great tour of 3 lakes. If you are lucky enough to stay at Hemlock Hall, then you are lucky!

My wife and I decided to spend a few nights at Hemlock Hall in Blue Mountain Lake. We have passed Hemlock Hall numerous times while going into the Adirondacks for hiking and camping. We knew someday we would go there. We finally made it after 30 years! It was well worth the wait (although I wished we would have gone there much sooner). When we arrived, our hostess Chelsea welcomed us warmly and quickly checked us in. She brought us to our Cabin on the lake. It was beautiful. Big back deck, nice windows with great views in every direction. The bed and bedroom were spot on and the living room was so relaxing. After we explored the beach and docks, we headed to the dining room. Wow, classic old Adirondack! So much wood and woodwork, huge fireplace and a nice library. We were assigned a table with 4 other couples. In no time, we were all friends. When the food arrived it exceeded or expectations! We had heard how delicious the meal were. All I can say is that everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked! That night it was chicken and biscuits. All homemade by the friendly kitchen staff. The chicken was tasty with a great creamy gravy with peas all over a homemade flaky rich biscuit. All with some (real) mashed potatoes on the side. We couldn’t get enough - and they will give you all that you can eat!!! The salad was crisp and tangy and the dessert was a creamy chocolate pie with and crumbly chocolate crust. Needless to say we feasted and headed out for a short walk - well needed ;-) The evening stars were more than we had seen in a long time. It’s so dark that the sky glows - you can even make out the Milky Way! We hit the sack and slept like babies.. In the morning we had coffee on the deck (a coffee maker and coffee are provided in the room). It was quiet and peaceful. After a quick shower, we heard the breakfast bell and couldn’t wait to see what was going to be our first meal of the day (like we really needed it after the dinner….LOL). Again we were assigned seat with a different group of people. All the other guests we friendly and many had been coming to HH for years!!! Wow, talk about a hearty meal. Eggs (how you want them), bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, homemade breads (baked that morning). Wow (said again). One of the breakfast treats was a sweet potato/maple/cinnamon bread pudding kind of thing. It was incredible. One person at our table (a pretty slim young guy that I could tell climbs mountains) had 3 helpings!!! I had one but wished I had room for more (ok, a pretty large helping ;-) Fresh coffee and tea were also served. It was a classic Adirondack Breakfast - a great way to start the day. I could go on and on. Overall, our 2 nights/3 days were great and frankly not long enough! Hemlock Hall as some of the nicest employees and guests that we had ever experienced. In fact on the morning we were leaving we need to get on the road early - before a full breakfast :-( Chelsea found out as I was checking out and quickly went to the kitchen and made a take out box of a delicious vegetable fritta and toasted bread. Nice… Last - when you check out they give you an entire loaf of their homamade bread. Nice touch. Were were sad to leave but look forward to going again (for more than 2 nights!!!)

Hemlock Hall is as good as it gets. The Provost family, along with the entire staff go out of their way to make sure all guests are accommodated and well taken care of! No detail is overlooked. There are cookies and fruit available in the main lodge all day long. Adirondacks chairs and benches line the huge porch attached to the main lodge and make for an amazing place to relax and take in the breathtaking Adirondack view. For guests looking to get some exercise the short hike up Castle Rock, whose trail head is right up the road, culminates in easily one of the best views the Adirondack region has to offer. The attention to detail and friendly staff at Hemlock Hall ensures that all guests feel right at home. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We have two young children and have been going to Hemlock since our oldest was just a few months old. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied, including a fully stocked beach house full of beach toys and floats. on the rare rainy day, the Adirondack museum is an excellent option for people of all ages. Hemlock Hall certainly earns the title of "Best in the Adirondacks" !

Hemlock Hall Resort is a little slice of paradise. The staff, location, accommodations, food, and views are everything you hope for when booking a stay in the Adirondacks. Our cabin was spotless, and the grounds were beautiful. We highly recommend this historic mountain lodge!
