Meredith is a great host. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. We stayed a night here before hitting the Northville Placid Trail. The inn is rustic. Meredith greeted us for a late check in. Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The host Meredith is one of the nicest people I've met. And of course, Mango was great company during our short visit.

Sep 07, 2024 · Moira CarrollI ended up at Blue Mountain Lake Inn randomly when it got too cold to camp. I was on a solo trip for my birthday and finding this unique, quirky, friendly place felt like fate. The Innkeeper, Meredith, and I chatted throughout the night and she even brought me a birthday brownie with a candle in it. She's funny, welcoming, down-to-earth and makes an amazing breakfast! After that fateful trip, I found myself returning to the Inn every year since. The lovely outdoor porch, the Inn itself which feels full of story and history and a big ole personality, the breakfast, the gorgeous location and beach across the street, the amazing hikes all around, the canoe you can borrow to paddle out to the Blue Mountain Lake islands to swim and rock jump, the affordability, the art gallery next door, the brewery down the street. Some of the rooms are more rustic, some are more updated. One room has an amazing view of the lake if you can snag it. You can even rent the entire inn at an affordable price as well which I did for my 40th birthday! We were able to use the whole inn, kitchen and all, and were welcome and encouraged to be our strange, quirky, artsy, music-loving, true selves. Meredith started a big fire for us, laughed at our antics, gave us space but was attentive and around if we needed anything. She seems to truly love being an innkeeper and seeing people have fun in this unique space that she's put a lot of love into.
May 13, 2024 · Robin JordanIf the cozy 1870s house wasn't charming enough on its own, the host Meredith and her dog Mango made our stay a top notch experience. Truly one of my favorite town stops along any of my long distance hiking endeavors. The quality of service and care that Meredith brings to this old home and to its guests is worthy of praise. If i ever find myself in Blue Mountain Lake again I will definitely be staying here! 10/10 would recommend
Jun 07, 2023 · Robert “The Great Fish” GrayWe biked through blue mountain lake on a long trip and stayed here twice. Meredith is awesome and had a cold beer waiting for us after the long ride. The beds are super comfortable and breakfast in the morning is great. And the best part for me was the sitting on Meredith's private dock on the lake in the evening and watching the stars. With only a few cabins on the lake, they are magnificent. If you are looking for a great place in the Adirondacks that makes you feel like family then book this place, you won't regret it. I promise!
