We just stayed here 6/7 - 6/14 in a cabin called All Ya Need. The cabin was gorgeous and very clean! The whole area was beautiful. We have been through Cades Cove several times and we have never seen a bear. Our first morning here we saw 2 bears. The owner is super friendly and answers questions very quickly. I can't wait to start planning our next trip and we plan on staying here again!

Hidden Springs Resort is strategically located at 1576 Newcomb Hollow Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862, USA. This address places it in an excellent position for exploring all that the Great Smoky Mountains region has to offer, while also providing a sense of peaceful seclusion. For Tennessee residents, this location offers convenient access to some of the area’s most popular attractions without being directly in the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
A significant advantage of Hidden Springs Resort's location is its proximity to Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country. Many cabins within the resort are just a few minutes' drive away, often less than 5-10 minutes, which is incredibly convenient for theme park enthusiasts. This ease of access allows you to maximize your time enjoying the rides and shows, rather than spending it in traffic.
The resort itself is nestled within a community of cabins, accessible via paved roads, which makes for easier driving compared to some steeper mountain routes, even though some cabins are further up hill and might require more careful driving in winter. The gated entrance provides an added sense of security for guests, which is a comforting feature. While not directly on the main Parkway, its location off Veterans Boulevard offers a good bypass route for north-south travel, connecting you efficiently to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This balance of being close to attractions yet offering a peaceful retreat is a key highlight, making it an appealing choice for families and groups looking for both convenience and a touch of nature.

Hidden Springs Resort, being a collection of privately owned cabins often managed by various rental companies within the resort, doesn't have a single, unified promotions page. However, individual cabin rental agencies and property managers frequently offer various deals to entice guests. For Tennessee locals looking for a great deal on a cabin stay, it's highly recommended to:
Check Individual Property Management Websites: Companies like Bear Cove Cabins, American Patriot Getaways, Cabins for YOU, or AvantStay (who manage properties within Hidden Springs Resort) often list specific cabin promotions, such as "Stay X Nights, Get Y Night Free," or percentage discounts.
Look for Seasonal Specials: Discounts are often available during off-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter before holidays, early spring) or for last-minute bookings.
Longer Stay Discounts: Many cabins offer reduced nightly rates for stays of 5 nights or more.
Mid-Week Specials: Sometimes, booking Sunday through Thursday can yield better rates than weekend stays.
New Listing Promotions: Occasionally, newly added cabins may offer introductory discounts to attract their first guests.
Because various owners and managers oversee the cabins within Hidden Springs Resort, direct inquiry with specific rental agencies or searching platforms that list Hidden Springs properties (like Expedia, Stayz, Vacation Cottage, etc.) is the best way to find current promotions. It's advisable to "do your homework and read recent reviews before booking" to ensure the cabin and any listed features meet your expectations, as promotions and specific cabin amenities can vary.

Jun 15, 2025 · S SHidden Springs Resort – Honest Family Stay Review We stayed here for 6 days with a family of nine. Check-in was quick, and we appreciated the gated entrance for added security. The resort overall looked nice, and if you get a cabin with a view, it’s absolutely stunning. Ours didn’t have much of a view, but that wasn’t a big deal. The main issue was cleanliness. The cabin wasn’t fully ready: no towels, dirty dishes still in the dishwasher, and the hot tub was slimy and green — clearly not cleaned in a while. One of our family members used it before we realized. The windows were also noticeably dirty, along with other small signs the cabin hadn’t been properly cleaned. To their credit, once we contacted them, they brought towels quickly and sent someone to drain and refill the hot tub — though it didn’t get a proper cleaning. The cabin itself was spacious and well-stocked with a full kitchen, Blackstone grill, washer/dryer, pool table, arcade machine, and a home theater setup (though the theater seats were extremely uncomfortable — a couch would’ve made more sense). The private hot tub and outdoor seating were nice touches once cleaned. Beds were just okay — not the most comfortable, but they worked. For $1,500, we expected a little more refinement, especially when compared to a nearby condo we stayed at that was spotless and included a lazy river for less money. Important heads-up: If you’re traveling with toddlers or small kids, be aware that some cabins have steep, open staircases. Our 3-year-old nearly tumbled down one. Not necessarily the resort’s fault, but definitely something to plan for. Also worth noting: Some of the features listed on the website were missing — like the dartboard. We were excited to use it as a family but found it had been removed, even though it was still advertised. Final thoughts: The stay was decent and the cabin had potential. But for the price, we expected better cleanliness and accurate listings. If you're considering staying here, do your homework and read recent reviews before booking.
May 26, 2025 · Dark OneLoved our cabin and the resort. It was so quiet, relaxing and the scenery was amazing
Jun 14, 2025 · Melissa NeffWe had a great time here! There were some bumps but besides that, it was a great cabin! The two small downfalls that we had were that our reclining couch was electric when it came to the reclining part… didn’t work… also our fridge made a knocking sound…. The two big downfalls that we had were that the outside smelled like sewer 24/7… and my in-laws checked their bed before going to sleep and the sheets had what appeared to be a pubic hair in them… so definitely don’t think the sheets were cleaned as they stayed that they were. Thankfully my in-laws brought their own sheets and comforter! I just recommend looking everything over!
Dec 11, 2023 · Erin MartinLocation to Dollywood is phenomonal. In short not worth the price paid! Looking at pictures or on the surface of this place (Joy's retreat) it is good, but when you get there it's pretty low quality, unkept, and janky. The cabin (Joy's Retreat) we stayed in had air conditioning that didn't work, it was 86 degrees when we arrived and turned it to 65 degrees and it only reached 74 degrees by day 3 only because we had to turn the basement wall unit air conditioner to low and strategically place the only 2 box fans in a path to get cool air to the main floor bedrooms. The ceiling fans were set to so low they barely circulated air and there were no controls to adjust them. There were ants everywhere in the kitchen. The floor in the main great room was super sticky like someone spilled juice and didn't clean it up. The basement toilet is up on 3 narrow steps, with a small sink, no shower. So no mobility challenges access for that facility option. The other rooms had beds that blocked the walkway where regular walking took "step around" so no mobility challenges or ADA compliance here. The hot tub outside is in a muddy and dusty corner on the excessively cobwebbed and dusty deck. It rained when we went to Dollywood. This is when we returned to the cabin and found the shower tub combos had broken handles and shower heads that barely operates and the walls were peeling and chaff falling onto tlthe surrounding area. We also found you have to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc account to watch the TV as temporary access is not provided. We luckily have our own accounts however when we logged into them we found the streaming broken at best then wifi completely went down and became unavailable from the TV and our personal devices. So, we turned to the DVDs in a basket under the living room table, and NOPE just 5 obscure movientitlea with the $1.00 sticker still on them. Just not a place I would recommendb there are other places that you would get what you pay for;Joy's Retreat cabin is not it.
