We spent one week and will never book it again. Parking is horrible. The cabin sits at the bottom of a very steep hill and if you have more than one car someone has to park at the top of the hill. This is very difficult for older people and people with disabilities. It was not clean when we arrived-cobwebs were in all the rooms. The dishes, pots, pans, silverware were dirty and the pots were so bad we wouldn't use them. The website said dining room seating for 10-wrong....only 6. It has 5 tvs which were a requirement since we were traveling with 4 teenagers and 3 adults. The problem is only 3 tvs could be turned on at any one time. And the wifi is so bad it should not even be listed as an amenity. One bedroom downstairs has a loud him coming from the wall....no idea what is causing that. There is no charcoal grill. There was a gas grill but it was in such bad shape we could not use it. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone!
Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the Great Smoky Mountains, just outside the bustling towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, lies Enchanted Vista Gatlinburg Cabins in Sevierville, Tennessee. For our fellow Tennesseans and those visiting our beautiful state, the call of the mountains for a peaceful, private escape is often irresistible. This isn't your average hotel stay; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Smokies from the comfort of a private cabin. Enchanted Vista aims to offer that secluded feeling while still providing access to the region's famous attractions.
Choosing a cabin rental like Enchanted Vista means opting for a different kind of vacation, one focused on privacy, self-sufficiency, and direct engagement with the stunning natural environment. While past guest experiences have highlighted some areas for improvement regarding initial cleanliness, maintenance responsiveness, and certain amenity functionality, the core appeal of the cabin – its location, views, and private features like a hot tub and full kitchen – remains. The intention behind these cabins is to provide a spacious and comfortable setting for families and groups, allowing for shared moments and relaxation amidst the mountain air. It's important for potential guests to set expectations for a private rental experience, understanding that it differs from a traditional hotel with a constant on-site staff.
Enchanted Vista Gatlinburg Cabins is located at 2003 McCarter Dr, Sevierville, TN 37862, USA. This address places the cabin within the broader Sevierville area, strategically positioned to offer a sense of seclusion while remaining relatively accessible to the famous attractions of the Smoky Mountains region. Sevierville serves as a gateway to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, making it a convenient base for exploring all three areas.
The cabin's specific location, within a resort setting, is often designed to provide quiet and scenic views. While it might be described as "at the bottom of a very steep hill" with particular parking considerations for multiple vehicles, this often contributes to the secluded and natural ambiance that many visitors seek in the mountains. For those who prioritize privacy and a connection to nature over immediate walking access to shops, this location can be ideal.
From McCarter Drive, guests have access to the main roads that lead directly to the heart of Pigeon Forge, home to attractions like Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, and numerous dinner shows and outlet shopping. A short drive further brings you into Gatlinburg, with its Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Anakeesta, Ober Mountain, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The proximity to the National Park is a major draw for hikers, nature lovers, and anyone looking to explore the natural wonders of East Tennessee. While the drive to the cabin might involve some mountainous roads, which is typical for the region, the payoff is often a beautiful view and a sense of escape. It’s always advisable to be aware of the specific driveway and parking conditions upon booking, especially if traveling with multiple vehicles or individuals with mobility challenges.
As a private cabin rental, Enchanted Vista Gatlinburg Cabins focuses on providing a comprehensive set of in-cabin amenities and features for a self-sufficient stay, rather than the daily services of a traditional hotel. For our fellow Tennesseans, especially those living outside the immediate Smoky Mountains region, Enchanted Vista Gatlinburg Cabins offers a compelling reason to visit our state's most iconic natural playground. While some past reviews indicate areas where the management could improve, the core value proposition of a private cabin getaway in this stunning location remains highly appealing for local users.
Often, locals seek a different kind of retreat than the average tourist. We know the area and appreciate the chance to truly disconnect. A private cabin like Enchanted Vista provides that very opportunity. Imagine escaping the noise of city life for a weekend, enjoying the "beautiful view" of the mountains, and experiencing the "quiet" serenity that only a cabin deep in the Smokies can offer. This is perfect for family reunions, a gathering of friends, or just a personal escape to recharge.
The "full kitchen" is a significant advantage for locals. We understand the value of home-cooked meals, especially when feeding a group, and this amenity can save a considerable amount of money compared to eating out every night in tourist-heavy areas. The private "hot tub" offers a luxurious and accessible way to relax, which is a fantastic perk after a day of exploring local hiking trails or visiting attractions. While some reviews noted issues with maintenance and customer service, it underscores the importance for Tennesseans to clearly communicate expectations and potential issues upon arrival, ensuring that essential amenities like water pressure and refrigeration are functional.
The cabin's location, while requiring some navigation, offers a balance of seclusion and convenient access to our beloved Dollywood, Pigeon Forge shows, and the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For a uniquely Tennessee experience that combines privacy, self-sufficiency, and stunning natural beauty, Enchanted Vista Gatlinburg Cabins provides a valuable option for locals seeking a memorable mountain escape.

Jun 17, 2017 · Susan InmanThe cabin was good and so was the view from it. But absolutely no customer service or maintance since the time we checked in. We were initially looking to take up the offer of an extra night at half price that they had offered, but after experiencing the problems at the cabin and complete lack of maintance we decided against it. The check in experience was bad, the operator was very rude and it was as if she was obliging the customers by talking to them and "ordering" them around. Finally a Jessica intervened and sorted the check in issue. Some of the issues we faced at the cabin were: Not sufficient water pressure in any faucet or bathrooms. Fridge door did not shut and so food and drinks did not cool. No propane- after 2 days we were told to get our own and we would be compensated @ $10 a day! Boardgames peices were missing. Wood destroying organisms/ termites present in the cabin? ( pics posted) So no proper water, no propane for bbq, fridge not cooling, so essentials are lacking, what luxuries were we to enjoy in that cabin?? I had to wait for 30 minutes in phone line before it was answered for maintenance, and still not one attempt was made to even address the problem let alone solve it. I asked several times for the email of the GM, I sent 3 reminders but that mail has not yet been answered. (they had left a feedback card on the kitchen counter for GM with no contact info!) I believe they have some off-shore call center. As they respond with std pre-set email, in the middle of the night, assuring the issue would be taken care off in the morning. This happened every night we were there. Four days after I had checked out I still got a similar message in the email that my issues would be taken care of in the morning ! It has been the most disappointing vacation we took. Its not very often we can sync a time for friends and family to come together to enjoy. We were left with sub-standard cabin with no efforts by the management to fix it so that we could enjoy our trip for which we paid thousand dollars. The time we lost is not compensatable. I asked several times for email of the GM or senior managment. They had the audacity to email me that will not provide any contact details for the management. I gave them an opportunity to address my concerns, but its 2 weeks since our return, and they have not responded to any of my emails or telephone messages. I would exercise extreme caution renting any of the cabins managed or owned by this company. There are quite a few companies and individuals offering luxury cabins at Smoky Mountains. I suggest, research thoroughly and speak to them in advance, as to what are the turnaround time for maintenance or any issues you have with the cabin and have that in email (writting) before parting with your non refundable money.
May 28, 2017 · Asme HoldingsThe cabin was not clean at all when we showed up to check in. Floors were filthy, hot tub was broke, showers were filthy, gum on head boards, dried food on dining room table, among other things. Have plenty of pictures if curious.
Jul 13, 2017 · Jon KlotzNot the best cabin I've stayed in. Beds weren't very comfortable, dishwasher had a funky smell.
Sep 30, 2018 · Cody SmithThe cabin was not clean. The road to get to the cabin was awful. Do not rent cabins from the company that owns them. Their customer service was awful.
