This hotel and staff are amazing. Very old bones and tons of charm. The rate was reasonable, and they really made my night! I traveled up on a motorbike and was going to camp, but storms ruined my plans. I stopped in Highlands, and The Highlands Inn made me feel comfortable right at home. The front desk people are SO NICE. They got me a room with access to the balcony. I sat on the 2nd floor balcony and listened to the rain. In the morning, they made a delicious breakfast and wished me safe travels. Very cool spot. Def recommend!

May 16, 2025 · David RobinsonI love Highlands inn for its history and location! Being right on main St, I was able to walk pretty much everywhere. Staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend for your next stay in Highlands
May 01, 2025 · Kathy CabeVery old building. good location to downtown. Room was okay at best but small. Bed mattress was just fine. Did not like the room television, staff gave us an excuse that they were working on upgrading. But had not got to the room we were assigned. Not hooked to internet. They advertised a free breakfast. Did not happen. Staff member called the owner and got the okay to serve a breakfast burrito. BFD!! Staff said that they were getting ready to shut down right after the Thanksgiving Holiday so some things were no longer available. That was becoming quite clear. It was not reflected in the price. It was one excuse after another. Bottom line, Very disappointed. We left a day early. I would not recommend
