Needs some updating. Always a problem with this place. We had 3 rooms, 2 of the 3 had plumbing problems in bathrooms. Good customer service and they did fix the issues. The Matador has a nice vibe in the evening. Breakfast is overpriced. Thank goodness the meal was complementary because of the plumbing issues.
For local users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Woburn, Massachusetts area, the Hilton Boston/Woburn is a well-known establishment operating under the globally recognized Hilton brand. Located at 2 Forbes Rd, Woburn, MA 01801, USA, this hotel typically caters to both business and leisure travelers, offering a range of services and facilities common to full-service hotels within the Hilton portfolio. Based on recent customer feedback, an objective introduction reveals both the strengths and areas where the hotel may not consistently meet guest expectations.
The Hilton Boston/Woburn is situated in a corporate-oriented area of Woburn, a suburb north of Boston, making it convenient for business travelers accessing nearby corporate parks and offices. The hotel's address on Forbes Road places it within a commercial zone, providing easy access to major roadways for travel around the Boston metropolitan area. The internal environment features a lobby/courtyard area, which, according to reviews, can be a central point of activity. While the hotel aims to provide a comfortable setting, some feedback indicates that parts of the property "needs some updating," suggesting that the decor and furnishings might be showing signs of age. This could impact the overall modern aesthetic that many travelers seek in contemporary hotels. A significant environmental concern highlighted by guests is the noise level, particularly from rooms facing the lobby/courtyard. Guests have reported "blasting music until 11pm" and then again starting at "6:30am," which severely disrupts sleep. This suggests that the hotel's design or soundproofing in certain areas may not adequately isolate guest rooms from public area noise, creating a less tranquil environment for rest. The "Matador" is mentioned as having a "nice vibe in the evening," indicating that public spaces like the hotel bar or restaurant aim to create a pleasant atmosphere for dining and socializing. However, the overall environmental experience for guests appears to be a blend of convenient location and functional spaces, tempered by concerns about noise and the need for updates in certain areas.
The services at Hilton Boston/Woburn receive mixed feedback, particularly concerning the responsiveness to issues. On one hand, customer service is identified as a strong point, with reviewers noting "Good customer service" and that staff "did fix the issues" when problems arose. This indicates a willingness and capability of the hotel staff to address guest concerns, which is a crucial aspect of hospitality. However, the frequency of these issues is a concern, with one guest stating, "Always a problem with this place. We had 3 rooms, 2 of the 3 had plumbing problems in bathrooms." This suggests a potential underlying challenge with maintenance or infrastructure that leads to recurring problems for guests. The hotel features a restaurant, "The Matador," which is mentioned as having a "nice vibe in the evening," indicating that dining services are available on-site for guest convenience. Breakfast is also provided, though one reviewer found it "overpriced," while noting it was complimentary in their case due to plumbing issues. This suggests that while breakfast is offered, its value proposition may be debated by guests paying full price. Overall, the service quality appears to be characterized by responsive staff attempting to mitigate issues that arise from the hotel's physical condition. For direct communication regarding services or reservations, the hotel can be reached at (781) 932-0999 or mobile phone +1 781-932-0999.
As a Hilton property, the Hilton Boston/Woburn typically offers a range of standard features expected from a hotel of its class. These commonly include amenities such as meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, and possibly an indoor pool, though these were not specifically detailed in the provided reviews. The presence of "The Matador" restaurant/bar is a confirmed feature, providing on-site dining and social options for guests. The rooms are equipped with typical hotel provisions, but customer feedback highlights areas needing improvement. Cleanliness in bathrooms was a concern for some ("Bathrooms weren’t very clean"). Plumbing issues, such as those experienced in two out of three rooms by one party, point to functional deficiencies that impact guest comfort. The major feature impacting guest experience, according to the reviews, is the room location relative to public spaces and the associated noise. Rooms "facing the lobby/courtyard" are significantly affected by "blasting music," making it "hard to fall asleep" and causing guests to wake up early. This suggests a design flaw or operational choice that compromises the fundamental feature of a hotel room: a quiet place to rest. While the hotel offers the convenience of an on-site bar and dining, the overall functionality and comfort of the guest rooms, particularly concerning plumbing and noise, are areas that guests have found problematic.
For users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and considering the Hilton Boston/Woburn, the promotional message would typically leverage the strength and recognition of the Hilton brand, implying a certain standard of quality and service. The hotel would likely highlight its convenient location for business travelers accessing the Woburn area and its proximity to Boston. The on-site dining options, like "The Matador," would be promoted as a convenient amenity for guests. The presence of customer service that is "Good" and responsive to issues is a positive aspect that the hotel could emphasize, demonstrating its commitment to addressing guest concerns. However, an objective promotion must also acknowledge the feedback regarding the need for "updating" and the reported issues with plumbing and noise. While standard Hilton promotional materials would generally focus on comfort, amenities, and service excellence, the current customer experiences suggest that potential guests should be aware of these specific points. The hotel's communication channels, such as the phone numbers (781) 932-0999 and +1 781-932-0999, are available for direct inquiries regarding room types, amenities, and any specific concerns. Despite the challenges highlighted in reviews, the hotel's ability to fix issues and provide good customer service, as well as the brand recognition of Hilton, continue to be elements that could draw guests to consider it for their stay in Woburn, MA.

May 15, 2025 · D R CULLARProbably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. Bathrooms weren’t very clean. The worst part is the noise though. Rooms are facing the lobby/courtyard and they’re blasting music until 11pm so it’s hard to fall asleep. Then the music starts again at 6:30am, waking you up. When you ask whether they would be able to turn down the music a bit nothing happens. I’ve never slept worse. Overall do not recommend staying here, there are better options around.
May 14, 2025 · Nanda EberhardNice modern hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bed and pillows were great. My only complaint was that the (large) bathroom didn't have a heater so showers were... well... brisk. The hotel has a cozy bar/restaurant with prompt friendly wait staff. There was ample parking around the building and a garage under the hotel. I'll stay there again.
Jan 29, 2025 · Tim ChaseTitle: Deeply Disappointing Stay – Claustrophobic Room, Poor Service, and Hygiene Issues I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was distressing enough that I felt I had to. When I first opened the curtain in my room, I was overwhelmed by the dense decorative structures right outside the window. As someone with claustrophobia, it felt suffocating. I called the front desk asking to change rooms, but the staff kept asking irrelevant questions — like whether I had a fear of heights — and completely failed to understand my concern. The conversation went nowhere. I ended up collapsing in the lobby due to a panic attack. Eventually, I was given another room. Unfortunately, that one came with its own issue: the bathtub didn’t drain properly. During my shower, dirty soapy water quickly filled up around my ankles and just stayed there. It was disgusting. The experience at the restaurant was no better. When I asked for a salad, the server acted like they didn’t understand the word. I had to repeat it five or six times. Finally, they said “Oh, salad!” and brought me a handful of unfresh, shredded lettuce — with no dressing — saying it wasn’t on the menu but that they could offer that. I’ve lived in the U.S. for over 40 years and never had to explain the word “salad” before. Ironically, when I described it as “a mix of vegetables,” that, they understood. This stay was unacceptable on so many levels — from staff behavior to basic hygiene and communication. I regret that I can’t give zero stars.
Apr 22, 2025 · Jenny SThe room is a nice size. The bedroom was clean the bathroom not as much. Also the bathroom counter was below my crotch. It’s like a handicap room without being one. Major issue is noise. The bar liked lively and sounded like it. I could not sleep. Then at 6:30am they blared music again. Guess I am awake and can add my review. Checked out early to stay elsewhere. They have a sound masking system that played random noise in the room to I guess convert noise from the atrium? Knob was broken and the system did not work well.
