Residence Inn Boston Woburn Introduce

When local users search for "Hotels Near Of Me" with a particular need for extended-stay accommodations in the Woburn, Massachusetts area, the Residence Inn Boston Woburn consistently stands out as a highly recommended option. Situated at 300 Presidential Way, Woburn, MA 01801, USA, this Marriott-branded hotel is specifically designed to cater to guests requiring longer stays, offering a unique blend of spacious suite-style living, convenient amenities, and, notably, exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond. This objective introduction will detail its environment, services, features, and promotional appeal based on real customer experiences.

Environment: Peaceful and Convenient Location

The environment of Residence Inn Boston Woburn is characterized by its tranquil and convenient location. Positioned on Presidential Way, the hotel offers a "quiet area," which is a significant advantage for guests seeking a peaceful retreat after a day of work or exploration. While being in Woburn, a bustling suburb north of Boston, the specific placement of the hotel allows for a serene atmosphere, away from the immediate noise of major thoroughfares. This quiet setting is ideal for both short-term visitors and those on extended stays who value a calm living space. The exterior and common areas of the hotel are typically well-maintained, reflecting the brand standards of Residence Inn. The presence of a "nice little pool" further enhances the recreational aspect of the environment, providing a space for relaxation and enjoyment within the hotel premises. The overall ambiance aims to be welcoming and conducive to a comfortable, extended stay, allowing guests to feel settled and at ease in their temporary home.

Services: Exemplary Customer Care and Thoughtful Gestures

The services at Residence Inn Boston Woburn are consistently highlighted as a major strength, particularly its customer service. Guests laud the staff's dedication and empathy, often citing specific examples of outstanding care. One reviewer, in a deeply personal situation, shared how the staff, and specifically a supervisor named Samuel, provided "absolutely phenomenal" customer service. This involved being "courteous, friendly, understanding," and going as far as "sending up a bag with a little snacks and drinks as well as a handwritten note expressing condolences." This level of compassionate and personalized service is "rare to find" and significantly impacts the guest experience, making a difficult time "a tiny bit better to deal with." This demonstrates that the hotel prioritizes genuine human connection and guest well-being beyond mere transactional interactions. In terms of more standard offerings, the hotel provides a "Complimentary breakfast," which is a key service for extended-stay properties, offering convenience and value. While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, Residence Inn properties typically offer additional services such as grocery delivery, a fitness center, and possibly evening social events, further enhancing the long-term stay experience. The readily available phone numbers, (781) 376-4000 and mobile phone +1 781-376-4000, ensure guests can easily access support and information.

Features: Spacious Suites with Home-Like Amenities

The core features of Residence Inn Boston Woburn are designed to provide a comfortable and functional "home away from home" experience, especially for extended stays. A standout feature is the spaciousness of the rooms. Guests describe their rooms as "big and amazing!!!" with notable layouts such as "Two bathrooms one bathroom was in one bedroom and one was in the other" in certain suites. This dual-bathroom setup is a significant convenience, particularly for families or groups traveling together. The inclusion of a "kitchenette if we decided to cook" is another critical feature, providing guests with the flexibility and cost-savings of preparing their own meals. These kitchenettes are typically well-equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and necessary utensils. The "nice little pool" offers a recreational amenity on-site, contributing to relaxation and leisure. The complimentary breakfast is a consistent and valued feature, providing a convenient start to the day. The hotel's quiet location is a key feature that appeals to guests seeking a restful environment. Furthermore, as a Marriott brand, Residence Inn usually offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and often pet-friendly policies (though not explicitly stated in this specific review, it's a common brand feature). The combination of ample space, in-room cooking facilities, and recreational options makes the hotel highly functional for various travel needs, from short visits to prolonged stays.

Promotional Information: Unmatched Hospitality and Extended Comfort

For individuals and families actively searching on platforms like "Hotels Near Of Me" for extended-stay options in the Woburn area, Residence Inn Boston Woburn presents a compelling proposition. The strongest promotional message stems directly from the glowing customer testimonials, highlighting the hotel's ability to provide "great hotel" experiences and making it a "definitely recommend this place." The emphasis on "big and amazing" rooms with practical features like "two bathrooms" and "kitchennet" directly addresses the needs of extended-stay guests seeking more than just a standard hotel room. The "quiet area" promotes a peaceful environment, which is highly desirable for both business and leisure travelers looking for respite. However, the most powerful promotional aspect is the unparalleled customer service. The story of Samuel's empathetic and thoughtful gesture showcases a level of hospitality that goes beyond typical service, creating a deeply positive and memorable experience. This human element is a significant differentiator and a key reason why guests would choose this hotel, especially during stressful or challenging times. The complimentary breakfast and pool add tangible value, making the stay more convenient and enjoyable. While not explicitly stated, Residence Inn often promotes itself as a pet-friendly option, which could broaden its appeal. Ultimately, Residence Inn Boston Woburn promotes itself as not just a place to stay, but a welcoming retreat where guests can experience genuine care and find comfort, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a home-like environment in Woburn, MA, for any length of stay.

I needed a place to stay after I sold my dad‘s home for a couple of weeks and the location was perfect, but that’s not what this review is about I ended up having to cancel my cruise because my cousin who is going with me on that Cruise had passed away, literally the day before we were to leave! I was pretty devastated, but I will say the staff at this hotel really really did a great job when it came to customer service. The supervisor whose name is Samuel was absolutely phenomenal!!! Courteous, friendly, understanding, and to be honest given what I was dealing with, he was able to make it a tiny bit better to deal with. He ended up sending up a bag with a little snacks and drinks as well as a handwritten note expressing condolences. I just don’t think you get that kind of service everywhere.

Pros: Clean rooms Staff was very friendly and attentive Good breakfast Location Parking on site Quiet for the most part Shower was excellent Stores 5 minutes away Cons: Furnace in room was pointed directly at the bed making it impossible to sleep due to the constant blowing in your face. Had to shut off the fan, then the room became hot. Pillows and bed are hard.

This finally happened to me: I was checked out by this hotel by mistake. So I came back to my room just to find someone else in my room, and all my cloth and stuff are cleared out of the room. Think about it, left the hotel in the morning and worked the whole day, and came back without your room and your stuff because someone in the hotel made a mistake. I have to collect my cloth, socks and shoes from a big pile of bags. They also threw out my tooth brush and $40 razor. And, I had to calm myself to go through all of this, preparing for an important meeting for the next day. Are they gonna tell me why the mistake was made? I bet no! Feb-10: As a follow-up to my original post, you can see the hotel said they will give me an update on what has happened. So far, nothing happened yet. Let's see if the hotel will keep their promise. Again, I bet no!

Thank you for your response. I appreciate the kind words about Adeline. However, the real issue is Steve and the inappropriate behavior from your kitchen staff. I endured uncomfortable, borderline sexual comments from a staff member. When I brought it up to the desk, the response was “Was it the short guy with glasses?” Clearly, this isn’t an isolated incident. Then there’s Steve, the manager who allows this behavior to continue unchecked. High-fiving the same guy who clearly doesn’t understand basic guest respect. This speaks volumes about your team’s values. I’m glad you’ll be looking into this, but I need to know what real actions are being taken. Until then, I won’t be returning to a hotel where unprofessionalism and disrespect run unchecked. Original Review (Posted on 04/06/2025): My husband and I recently spent nearly two weeks at the Marriott Residence Inn in Woburn. For the most part, the accommodations were what you’d expect—clean, convenient, and practical for an extended stay. However, there were a couple of deeply concerning interactions with staff that left us uncomfortable and disheartened. About five days into our stay, I had an uncomfortable encounter with a kitchen staff member during breakfast. Despite having had friendly exchanges with him earlier in our trip, he suddenly and quite loudly corrected me for using the provided glassware instead of plastic. This happened in front of other guests and felt completely unnecessary and humiliating. The glassware is clearly displayed and provided by the hotel—there was no reason to be singled out, let alone publicly corrected. Then, on our final morning, my husband had a similar experience. As he was preparing his waffle and mixing fruit compote into the batter, a casually dressed man—wearing a hoodie and jeans—came over and said, “You’re going to break my waffle maker.” The tone was accusatory, and the wording suggested ownership over an appliance that is very clearly Marriott’s property, not his. My husband was taken aback, and the interaction felt unnecessarily hostile. What made things worse was what happened after. That same man walked over to a nearby spot—clearly within view—where he joined the same kitchen staff member who embarrassed me days prior and another individual. The three of them exchanged high-fives and started laughing openly. The timing and placement of it made it feel intentional and mocking, as if the entire interaction had been part of some joke at our expense. I say this not as speculation, but as someone who directly witnessed their behavior. Out of curiosity, I asked another staff member who that man was, and she casually referred to him as “Steve, the big boss.” That was her exact wording. If that’s the type of leadership being modeled here, it’s extremely disappointing. Now, despite all of this, I do want to end this review on a positive note—because there was one person who completely changed our experience for the better: Adeline. Her kindness, professionalism, and sincere compassion made a lasting impression. After hearing about my earlier experience, she personally checked in on me to make sure I was okay. She didn’t brush anything off or pretend it hadn’t happened—she simply showed humanity and care. Adeline is the reason I’m not leaving a one-star review. She is the heart of this hotel and deserves recognition for the work she does. Marriott, I hope you take this feedback seriously. Your guests deserve better than to be shamed or mocked by your staff. And your standout employees—like Adeline—deserve to work in a place that upholds the same values they represent so beautifully.
