We are staying here now and there is some kind of family event going on. At 1:30 in the morning we finally had to say something about the extraordinarily loud music, people running up and down the halls, and the smell of weed filling the room from the hallway. The guy at the front desk just said, “didn’t anyone tell you there was a family party when you checked inn?”. They are definitely understaffed. We asked for extra towels and pillows, and there was only one person working the front desk and no other staff. She was nice enough to get them for us, but that left the front desk empty and people came to check in had to wait awhile. If it wasn’t for the noise, the smell of weed, and the lack of caring about the noise, this place would get 4 stars. Second night we were there. Most of the huge group left, but not the room next to us who were yelling and talking for most of the night. At 11:30 I finally had to go down to the front desk after listening to a man screaming about which cartoon the kids should be watching, they chose Aladdin, then the kids continue to scream and talking loudly. The front desk’s response was that the party was over and most of the group went home. I said this had nothing to do with the issue yesterday night and everything to do with what I was hearing through the wall and hallway. He said he would handle it. No surprise here, but it wasn’t handled and they all passed around 2 A.M.

Jun 09, 2025 · Cynthia HWe came here for a wedding on Sunday. Do not stay here if you have an important event to be at on a Sunday. Housekeeping only cleans the rooms every other day. Since we have been staying for a check in on Friday, I had expected that by Sunday our room would be cleaned. Of course our room was not clean on Sunday. I complained to the front desk and she basically told me she had no idea when housekeeping would be coming to clean our room. OK, fine. Can we at least get some clean towels as we have a wedding to go to and we would like to have clean towels and bathe with? She tells me that she sent a text message to housekeeping. Four hours later still no towels and we still have this wedding in about an hour and a half. It is ridiculous. I do want to give a special shout out to Carrie in food banquet services as she tried to provide us with some large towels to help us out since the front desk person really could not care less of whether or not we got those towels. Also Megan, who worked the front desk at our check-in on Friday was excellent and she was able to provide us with clean towels. Whoever this person is that’s working the front desk on Sunday is more concerned with her cell phone than just getting me the towels I’m asking for. I still have no clean washcloths to bathe with for a wedding that I’m attending in an hour and a half. I look forward to speaking with management on Monday as the whole point of staying in a hotel is to ensure you have a clean room and towels to bathe with. It’s really not rocket science and they still couldn’t do that correct correctly. Great location, horrible service!!
Apr 27, 2025 · Kimberly AndersonAwesome place disclaimer I stay at a lot of Hilton properties for Diamond member this Hilton is better than a lot of other Hiltons. I had to work in Knoxville and had to stay overnight till Saturday. So i stayed at the Hilton in Pigeon Forge. I ate at the Bull fish Grill walking distance. I walked to the Museum and to the Smokey Mountain Brewery pigeon forge a bit of hike but worth it.
Jun 15, 2025 · Ken GibsonFirst we always stay in Hilton/Hampton properties when we travel, a few times a year, and we have become accustomed to the brands hospitality, cleanliness and friendliness. This hotel is in a great location 1 street over from the Parkway. There is some construction going on but it never disturbed us. Check in was a breeze. Our room was large enough for 4 of us to be comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The hot tub is HUGE and very nice after a long day exploring Pigeon Forge. Now for the not so good. 4 nights and no room cleaning. Saw the cleaning person in the hall after 2nd night and asked her to leave towels, remove the trash and clean the bathroom. The only thing she did was replace soap and wipe the sink. We took our own trash out and replaced the bag with a grocery bag. Had to send the kids down to get clean towels and wash cloths. Monday morning breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating. Our server told us it was very slow that week and she hadn't even made $5 in tips all morning. I tipped her $20. Tuesday morning breakfast staff was rude. Coffee urns were dirty and coffee was warm. I asked for grits, 2 eggs over easy and sausage. The man that seated us (Carlton) told me to ask the cook. So I got up and asked. She told me those are made to order items. I don't see what the big deal was. I paid for breakfast to be included with our stay. Then 2 young teens came down to get breakfast cereal and the host, Carlton, told them to leave until their parents got there. RUDE! Then another woman walked into the kitchen, which is viewable from the dining room, and they started, very loudly, trash talking someone. It was kind of comical, in a disturbing way. While they were talking loudly about their personal lives, a man with a very long beard, in work clothes and a carpenters pencil behind one ear walked into the kitchen and started opening all of the food and looking at it, including the things being "made to order". It was all very weird. Ironically there was a hair in my sausage. I just pushed it all away. Wednesday morning we went to breakfast and the guy with the long beard was cooking. My grandsons turkey sausage had a long beard hair wrapped around it. I showed Carlton and he asked what would I like him to do about it, lol. We just left. We packed and checked out. When the desk emailed my receipt they charged me for breakfast we paid for in advance. I called to have it corrected and am currently waiting for that correction. This is definitely not what we have ever experienced at a Hilton or Hampton property. At almost $1000 for 4 nights the Hampton next door would probably have been a better choice. Avoid this place! Hilton you can do better! Edit to respond: I guess the hair in the food and rude employees are part of the new experience too? Also a sign in the room says rooms will be service every other day. I ASKED the housekeeper to service our room after 2 nights. Great job taking responsibility.
Apr 02, 2025 · Tammy SmithIf I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was an absolute nightmare, from the moment we stepped into our room to the weeks of frustration dealing with Hilton’s so-called customer service. Upon arrival, my 5-year-old daughter was excited to take a bath in the jetted tub, if you have kids, you know getting them excited about a bath is nothing short of a miracle— What should have been a fun, relaxing moment turned into something straight out of a horror movie. As soon as we turned on the jets, disgusting black mold, debris, and filth spewed out into the water. It was revolting. We immediately went to the front desk, expecting them to take action. Instead, they did nothing. No room change, no apology, not even a pretense of concern. The sheer negligence was appalling. Given the state of the room and the staff’s indifference, we had no choice but to leave and find another hotel. Unfortunately, my daughter had already been exposed to the mold-ridden water for a few moments before we realized how filthy it was. She developed rashes on her feet and legs, and within hours, she was suffering from diarrhea that lasted for two days. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a health hazard. After leaving the hotel, we attempted multiple times to speak to a manager—three separate visits back to the hotel, and not once was a manager available or willing to speak with us. Calls went unanswered. Messages were ignored. Weeks of dealing with Hilton directly led to them finally agreeing to credit my Hilton Honors account with 75,000 points to make up for this disaster. THAT CREDIT HAS NEVER CAME. Every time I call Hilton, I have to start from scratch because either: There are no notes from the previous representative The case number they provided magically “doesn’t exist” It’s been an endless cycle of frustration, gaslighting, and corporate indifference. This experience has completely shattered my trust in Hilton as a brand. Not only did this hotel fail on every level—cleanliness, customer service, and basic human decency—but Hilton as a corporation has also proven they do not care about their customers. If you value cleanliness, safety, and being treated with even a shred of respect, do not stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. I will be sharing this experience far and wide to ensure no other family has to go through this same nightmare.
