A place like this is the reason I love being a Hilton Honors member. We’ve stayed at the other Hilton hotel down the road (Homewood Suites) several times..if you’re deciding between here and there..stay here. What a great place to stay! The staff are so attentive, pleasant and communicative, the rooms are beautiful and incredibly clean and the digital check in was flawless. I was alerted by the staff as soon as my room was ready and used the digital key process easily. The amenities in the room are nice and I appreciate the little things like really nice soaps and lotions in the bathroom. We were also greeted and acknowledged every time we entered the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel!

Apr 10, 2025 · Jodie RogersI came here for one night on a Friday with a friend, for a moms night out. You walk into a large entry way, there is a restaurant to the right it was closed when I got there around 430pm. The check in desk was a little hidden on the left. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gym and pool were by the check in desk. There was a 24/7 snack and drink area. We were on the 3rd floor: it was a long walk to our room. There did not seem to be closer entrances due to how the building is set up. The room was bigger than I thought it would be. There was a desk, a comfy chair, and the mini fridge and microwave were on a cabinet which was nice for storage. Breakfast was not included. They did have a charger alarm clock which I thought was cool
Apr 28, 2025 · Ann CurtiMy daughter and I stayed for one night for a girls night. We chose this Hilton for proximity to Rochester and what we were doing. It has had some nice upgrades recently. The whirlpool was decent and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is conveniently close to 490. The night staff at the desk, cleaning woman who I ran into in the hallway, and the breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating.
Mar 25, 2025 · Marty WallaceI do not recommend this establishment to anyone. I had to cancel my trip to ROC due to illness and they wouldn't make an allowance and credit me back any money that I paid. (over 300$ for two nights). They could have offered a refund in the form of a voucher for a future trip at the very least. Their manager sounded young and inexperienced and like she was just doing a summer job. There computer systems has been down since yesterday and couldn't change the room my sister was staying in.... I will never be going there again and apparently they do NOT care about repeat customers. I will staying at the Strathallan Hilton which has always treated me like I am important to them as an Honors Member. I would like to edit my above review as I was contacted by The Garden Inn manager, Maris and she took care of the situation. She was very professional and assured me that the issues that took place were due to the system failure. She canceled my reservation and I was not charged. My faith is restored in this hotel. Thank you.
Mar 28, 2025 · Deborah MetcalfI am editing this review to five stars. We had a very unfortunate experience during our stay here during the overnight hours. No manager was present and (while kind) the people on duty were not helpful. There was a huge flood in our room that damaged a decent amount of our property. In the morning we spoke to the manager, Manee, and she was a gem. Instead of pretending to hear our concern and acting like she knew enough (since she’d already been briefed), she sat us in the conference room and let us air every grievance we had. The compensation involved was exactly what it should’ve been and we didn’t have to push for it. We are beyond appreciative to The staff, especially her. The two nights prior to this were great so we were absolutely blindsided by the incident. To the owners: Charging $275 incidentals on a suite that has a late 90s/ early 2000s design feel, is crazy. Aside from the size, nothing else makes it a suite. The condition is deplorable. I’ve stayed in dozens of 4/5 star hotels in my life and I’ve NEVER seen an incidental rate this high. Not even at The Plaza. The actions of a few guests shouldn’t impact the larger clientele.
