The service is really good. Everyone is very helpful and prompt. The location is a bit out of the way, but in a quiet spot. The area is pretty residential and lots of places to walk around that are safe and very beautiful. It is on a main bus route and easy to dart to downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale if you want to explore. Rooms could use some extra love, but only in the sense of minor repairs. Housekeeping was great! The amenities were mint. Gym is clean and has a nice variety of equipment to use. The pools are nice and kept up on. Same with the lazy river and the mini golf course. Would definitely stay here again.

Jun 10, 2025 · Sarah RikkinenSo I booked the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak thru my Capital one Travel. The pictures made the place look very nice, it looked like the pools were nice and well maintained, the rooms looked very clean and taken care of. Well we were very disappointed when we got there and got our room. First the elevators don’t have AC. The temperature outside was around 110° and getting in the elevator wasn’t pleasant. The elevators were falling apart inside. Every time we got in we were hoping we wouldn’t get stock in there. The rooms were big but they needed better cleaning, better lighting, they were very dark. The carpet was super dirty, my kids like to run around barefoot and their feet were dirty within the first half hour of being in the room. The couches were stained, my daughter found old pizza bites size pushed between the couch and the pillows, I found what it looked like dog food in one of the bathrooms, my youngest daughter fell in the tub while she was showering, they didn’t have the nonslip mats. Over all the room were not what we saw in the pictures and were not what we were expecting. Now the pools. The water was not clean. The service was the best of the resort, very friendly and very helpful. But this place definitely need major changes.
Jun 18, 2025 · Ariel MejiaFirst time staying here and it won’t be our last. Our room was so nice and updated. Very clean. The water park was so fun! The lazy river was relaxing and the perfect length with lots of options to get off and on. We rented a cabana and that was so worth it. There were plenty of options to sit around the pool in a lounge chair but the cabana allowed us to sit in comfort while still watching our family a few feet away in the pool. The pool at the water park is shallow so it’s perfect for even the little toddlers. We also enjoyed the pool in the hotel. It had a hot tub and deeper water for more of a swimming experience. The hotel itself is gorgeous. We cannot wait to go back and see already planning a trip again in July.
May 28, 2025 · Sarah RaibleMy first thought is "this is a Hilton" one of the top brands in the world. After staying in DC at the wharf. Quite a difference. But it all comes down to perspective. Once you overlooked some of the tired conditions of the room, building and common areas. You can see a "dated beauty" that needs just a face-lift. The charm, the feel, the architecture is all there. I don't go to an historical hotel expecting to see today's modern ish designs. Do I wish the embellishments were updated, absolutely! Yet, when my wife just soaked in the historical feel of the campus - we felt different. The staff was friendly, the pool and water park are although needing a little attention were enjoyable, the restaurant - well yes it was a whole in the wall. But I can't say we were overcharged, and I can't say it it was bad. It was right for the value and our view was priceless. So question is, would we stay there again, absolutely! We would look at our time there as a step back to simpler era, enjoying what it is, not what it is not. PS - Our shower had the best water pressure ever!!!
May 03, 2025 · Network TogetherWe are staying here right now as I write this review. Sitting in a room that is very dingy and warm because the AC is very poor despite having maintenance come service it. We have a large suite and from the pictures on line and the price we pay, I expected much nicer. The pictures are beyond misleading. The room is so dingy and dated. The headboard has rips and is literally taped together!!! Really?? The carpet has clear bleach stains and is so nasty is won't walk barefoot in the room. The bathtub has rust. Seriously lacking in outlets where you need them. The dining table finish is bubbling. The couches are lumpy and again, dingy. And I expect another night of sweating as we try to sleep because the AC is dismal. If you have a hotel in AZ, the AC should be on point. It's not... The Waterpark is decent and was a big part of the reason we stayed here (and the incredibly misleading photos). My husband is a diamond with Hilton and travels every week. We will not ever stay here again. One and done...
