We came for a Shake Off the Winter Blues event, we stayed overnight and went to the jazz brunch. It was absolutely wonderful! The hotel was decorated amazingly for Christmas, it was cozy & full of music. The room was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The event was so fun, there was a cocktail hour with carving stations, then 3 hours of dancing with the Philadelphia Funk Authority. The music kept people on the dance floor the whole time, it was a blast. There was a wedding party there and they were so beautiful and made the whole event so fun. The jazz brunch the next morning was wonderful, the jazz music throughout the lobby and restaurant paired with the happy sounds of guests coming and going and laughter as people were eating was a perfect backdrop to the food. The stations were well kept with plenty of options and constantly refilled. The service and staff were amazing all weekend, they all clearly take pride in their work and the history of the hotel. It's an absolutely wonderful place for a get away.

On a cold misty snowy morning we decided to warm ourselves in the hospitality of the Hotel Bethlehem brunch. It was fantastic. Excellent atmosphere, great selection of delicious food, wonderful service. Live music and historic views put the experience over the top. We fondly recall finding interesting spots when we are travelling across the pond, but here we are having a great time just a short drive away.

We absolutely love the Historic Hotel Bethlehem! It’s our go-to spot, and we’ve stayed here many times. The staff is always wonderful, and the hotel’s old-world charm and rich history make every visit special. It’s also reasonably priced, with the casino nearby and amazing restaurants and shops downtown. We always enjoy strolling through the area—such a perfect place to stay!

We used Hotel Bethlehem as the venue for our wedding welcome party and also reserved a room block for our guests. Overall, it was a great way to kick off our wedding weekend. The historic charm of the hotel provided a unique and beautiful atmosphere, and our guests really enjoyed both the event and their accommodations. Leading up to the weekend, the sales and hotel managers were easy to work with and communicative. They were helpful in coordinating the event details. That said, a few bumps behind the scenes kept it from being a totally seamless experience. The room block could only be booked by calling the hotel directly, and depending on who answered the phone, some of our guests were told the block didn’t exist. That created some unnecessary confusion and extra follow-up on our end. We also ran into some challenges with the payment schedule. There was a contracted timeline for deposits and final payments, but the hotel didn’t charge us as outlined. We discovered just before our second deposit was due that the first one had never been processed. Although we agreed to pay both at once, those charges still weren’t made; leaving us to pay in full the day of the event. With everything else going on that weekend, this added stress that could have easily been avoided. On the night of the event, the space we were given was smaller than what we had originally discussed, and there wasn’t a clear point person checking in with us. Despite those logistical issues, the welcome party itself was wonderful. Our guests had no idea anything was off. From a guest-facing perspective, it was a success. It’s a beautiful venue and overall a great place to host an event, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to execution and internal communication.
