Not a great casino. Was there about 20 years ago and went again in 2025. Need players card to order drinks. Must play $5 to order and can only have one drink every 30 minutes. At least 40 slots broken. Casino is half smoking as well.
When searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the name "Sands Casino And Hotel" might appear in older listings. However, it is crucial for prospective visitors to know that this establishment is now officially known as Wind Creek Bethlehem. The property, located at 301 E 1st St, Bethlehem, PA 18015, USA, was acquired by Wind Creek Hospitality (an entity of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians) in 2019 and subsequently rebranded. While the phone number originally associated with Sands (though not provided in the prompt) would now lead to Wind Creek Bethlehem, direct contact for general inquiries or reservations can be made through their official channels. This introduction will provide an objective overview of Wind Creek Bethlehem, incorporating past customer feedback relevant to its "Sands" era and current information, to offer a comprehensive understanding for users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me."
The "environment" at Wind Creek Bethlehem, particularly its casino floor, receives mixed feedback, primarily concerning the presence of smoking. One review explicitly states, "Casino is half smoking as well," and another highlights the immediate impression of walking into "a very Smokey area" on New Year's Eve. This indicates that while efforts may be made in non-smoking sections, the overall casino environment can be impacted by smoke, which is a significant factor for many guests. Despite this, other general descriptions of Wind Creek Bethlehem suggest a "luxurious escape" with "timeless décor paired with rich jewel tones" in the hotel rooms. Common areas and the hotel itself are often described as clean. The property is a large, integrated resort situated within the Bethlehem Works development site, part of the historic Bethlehem Steel plant. This industrial-chic theme is often incorporated into the design, providing a unique backdrop. Beyond the casino, the environment extends to the hotel, dining venues, and shopping outlets, offering a diverse array of spaces. The scale of the property means guests can expect a bustling and active atmosphere, particularly in the casino and common entertainment areas.
The "services" at Wind Creek Bethlehem, while not extensively detailed in the provided brief reviews, are typical of a large casino resort. From the customer feedback concerning the "Sands" era, there were specific points of frustration: "Need players card to order drinks. Must play $5 to order and can only have one drink every 30 minutes." While this policy might have changed under Wind Creek management, it reflects a past service model that some guests found restrictive. Modern casino resorts generally aim for high levels of customer service to enhance the gaming and hospitality experience. Official information for Wind Creek Bethlehem highlights "24-hour front desk," "concierge services," and "room service," suggesting a comprehensive approach to guest needs. There is a "Wind Creek Rewards" program, which offers benefits such as personalized offers, hotel discounts, and priority line service based on tier status. This indicates a system in place to acknowledge and reward loyal guests. The presence of a "Spa at Wind Creek" also implies a range of wellness services, including massages and salon treatments. The large scale of the operation typically means a substantial staff catering to various needs, from gaming floor attendants to hotel personnel and dining staff.
Wind Creek Bethlehem boasts an extensive array of "features" designed to attract and entertain guests, positioning it as a comprehensive destination for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with more than just a place to sleep. The core feature is, of course, the casino, which reportedly offers "over 1,700 of the newest and most popular casino games," including "3,000 slot machines" and "200 Table Games" covering Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and various poker variations. There's also a dedicated "Poker Room" and a "Sportsbook" for sports betting. Beyond gaming, the property features a significant hotel with "302 rooms" (and plans for expansion). These rooms are described as having "plush, queen pillow-top beds," "complimentary Wi-Fi," and "in-room remote checkout." The hotel is AAA Four-Diamond rated, indicating a high standard of luxury and service. Dining is a major draw, with "4 restaurants" offering diverse cuisines, including "Chop House at Wind Creek," "Urban Table," "Chopstick," and "Steelworks Buffet and Grill," along with a "Market Gourmet Express Food Court." Entertainment options include the "Wind Creek Event Center," a 50,000 sq-ft venue for concerts and events, as well as "Molten Lounge," "Coil Lounge," and "Vision Bar" for nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, "The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem" is an indoor mall connecting the casino and hotel, featuring various brands. Other amenities include a "heated, indoor pool," a "24-hour fitness center," and the aforementioned "Spa at Wind Creek." The presence of "Kids Quest & Cyber Quest" indicates some family-friendly entertainment, though the primary focus remains on adult gaming and leisure.
Regarding "promotional information," Wind Creek Bethlehem actively engages in various promotions, particularly centered around its casino and the "Wind Creek Rewards" loyalty program. These promotions are designed to attract new players and retain existing ones. Examples of recent promotions include a "NEW PLAYER SIGN UP OFFER" providing "up to $100 in rewards" (including slot free play and food credit). Regular promotions like "FREE PLAY PAY DAYS," "MIDWEEK MADNESS," and sweepstakes for cash, luxury items (like designer handbags), and even vehicles (e.g., "2025 CADILLAC® LYRIQ SWEEPSTAKES") are common. The "Wind Creek Rewards" program itself is a key promotional tool, offering members benefits like discounted hotel stays, spa credits, food credits, and complimentary room nights based on their play. The hotel also promotes its event schedule at the Wind Creek Event Center, featuring a variety of musical artists and shows. While the negative reviews from the "Sands" era highlight operational issues, Wind Creek Bethlehem's current promotional efforts focus on the breadth of its offerings – from gaming and dining to shopping, entertainment, and a luxurious hotel stay. Prospective guests looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Bethlehem area should visit the official Wind Creek Bethlehem website or contact them directly to explore the latest promotions, hotel packages, and event schedules tailored to their interests, as these are subject to frequent updates.

Feb 11, 2025 · Jeff SmithWe went on New Year's Eve. The first thing we walk into is a very Smokey area. Not great
Jan 20, 2025 · Maurice Watson (rerunwatson99)Great casino with easy access to the hotel and shopping outlets. Convenient parking garage that has free parking. Friendly and efficient staff. Decent ventilation with how much smoking is done in there. They have non smoking sections but it’s really just a large open space between the two.
Dec 26, 2023 · Christine LNot pleased they gave more bucks on card before it's smells smoky. I seen something on the bar. Hope they treated the place
Dec 25, 2024 · mike heistThe table suddenly became very busy, and the dealer kept blowing cards, but they changed 4 dealers within 10 minutes. The staff called a few people to look at it, and said it was very strange, as if we were cheating. , they said they were going to close this desk and they were going to get off work. No way, the rules of the game are theirs. The next day, I went to the same table and kept losing. The dealer kept getting 20 and 21 points. I asked the staff when the table would be closed today. The dealer told me that in addition to changing the cards, the table would be replaced with new cards. , will not be closed. Yes, shameless behavior can only make you lose, not win. When you are lucky, they keep changing people to deal cards, or close the table directly. There is no justice at all... don't go gambling in this place, their behavior is so bad
