We, a family of four stayed at this hotel for one night on 6th April. After driving for more than 6 hours from NYC, it was a relief to get a quick check in. The girl at the front desk was super friendly and supportive. Thank you Lydia. We had booked two rooms, but they weren’t connected from inside. We noticed that there was another room which was connected with one of our room. My husband went to request for that room if possible. Although that was a different room with higher tariff, Lydia (god bless her) at the front desk accommodated us and we could stay connected with our kids. Breakfast service was superb, everything was clean and well stocked up. The hotel was very good but the location is a bit far from the falls. We had a car so it was just 20 minutes drive otherwise I have no idea how to get there. Maybe through a taxi? Overall our experience was a great one.

The hotel aims to provide a solid value proposition, particularly for those who appreciate the reliability of the IHG brand and the convenience of included breakfast. For those considering this hotel, it is beneficial to weigh the positive aspects, such as the friendly and efficient front desk staff and the quality of the complimentary breakfast, against some of the challenges reported by past guests. These challenges have included issues with the overall maintenance and condition of the property (e.g., torn carpeting in public areas, elevator malfunctions, and noise from other guests, particularly day laborers), as well as occasional closures of facilities like the pool without prior notification on the website. While the staff is often praised for their efforts in resolving immediate concerns, potential guests should set expectations regarding the hotel's general upkeep based on recent reviews. The hotel's policy regarding check-in and check-out times (typically 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out) and any associated fees for services like parking or rollaway beds should also be considered when planning a stay.
In conclusion, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Niagara Falls, an IHG Hotel, offers a convenient and generally accommodating option for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Niagara Falls, NY area. Its strengths lie in its dedicated staff, valuable complimentary breakfast, and accessible amenities. However, it is prudent for prospective guests to review recent guest feedback to ensure their expectations align with the current condition of the property and its facilities.

Apr 09, 2025 · Richa KhareDuring my recent four-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Niagara Falls, NY, I experienced a mix of commendable customer service and significant shortcomings in accommodations and facilities. Starting on a positive note, I must commend the front desk staff for their exceptional efforts in addressing the issues we encountered. They were courteous, responsive, and efficient in resolving immediate concerns, such as relocating us to a new room. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was well-prepared and a highlight of the stay, offering a pleasant start to each morning. Unfortunately, these positives were overshadowed by numerous issues that affected the overall experience. Upon check-in, the first assigned room was unsafe, with torn carpet exposing rusty tack strips, posing a severe hazard. This room was immediately put out of service, and while the front desk quickly moved us to a new room, the replacement was not much better. The suite showed signs of neglect, with damaged walls, unusable, worn-out furniture that appeared decades old, mold in the bathroom, and an inconsistent water temperature in the shower, making it unsafe. Additional concerns in the room included a significant gap under the door to the hallway, large enough to let in light and potentially other unwanted elements. We had to improvise with a sheet to block it, which was not a satisfactory solution. Furthermore, the TVs were difficult to operate due to inconsistencies between the printed guide, the on-screen guide, and actual channel listings. The condition of the shared facilities further compounded the disappointment. The pool was closed for maintenance, which was not disclosed on the website at the time of booking. Torn carpeting exposing tack strips was also evident in the lobby, creating hazards in public spaces. The sidewalks leading to handicap parking spaces were left unshoveled and unsalted until I requested action at noon. Additionally, one of the two elevators was out of service, and by the third day, the only functioning elevator began malfunctioning, prompting my family to use the stairs for safety. Noise levels in the hotel were another significant issue. Despite the designated quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., day laborers staying at the hotel frequently made excessive noise in the hallways, waking us around 5:30–6 a.m. each morning. In summary, while the front desk staff and breakfast were commendable, the overall condition of the property and failure to address critical safety, maintenance, and comfort standards left much to be desired. I am rating this stay 2 out of 5 stars: one star for the excellent front desk service and one star for the quality of the breakfast. Significant improvements are needed to bring this property in line with the standards typically expected from a Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
Jan 17, 2025 · Christopher VeltriI went on a trip to buffalo and this was the closest cheapest ihg hotel i could find to what I wanted to do in the area. The staff were very friendly and cheered me up from a bad week prior I had. When I was leaving I was 30 minutes down the road and got a call from the hotel said I forgot my bills jersey and my heated jacket. I went back and was surprised because a lot of people today would just keep what they found. I am very grateful for the staff here everyone is so nice. And the man I was told that found my items was Mike I forget hos title but he went door to door after customers left checking the rooms I believe. I ran into him a few times on my stay, very nice individual. That you all i had a great time.
Jan 08, 2025 · james scottI booked two nights for a girls weekend. We planned on spending a lot of time in the pool, however, the pool ceiling caved into the pool after just a few hours of enjoying the pool. The pool was then closed the rest of the stay. Not only that, guest are only able to watch basic cable on the tvs. Casting and WiFi on the tvs don’t work. Why advertise stuff you can’t provide? The only thing that made the stay worth it was the breakfast chef, Bobbie. He was such a wonderful guy and clearly cared about the guests. Breakfast was amazing!!! His eggs were the chefs kiss 😘
Mar 06, 2025 · Danyell FustinoWe were driving long distance and booked this place for an overnight stay so we can sleep well before heading home the next morning. The rooms weren't noise proof and at 2 am we could hear kids crying, running and banging on the floor above us. After complaining it was quite for sometime but started again. My husband and I couldn't sleep well because of the noise. The breakfast was okay 2.5/5. Overall not a pleasant stay.
