It was the best hotel I've genuinely ever been at. It was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly, and it had an AMAZING view. The rooms were very clean, and it even had a gym! The only bad things I would have to say about the hotel are the Chlorine smell from the pool going into the lobby, and sometimes the staff weren't present at the counter when I needed them. For the unforgettable experience, and the fact this was my first impression of Tennessee from Pennsylvania, I wish I could give it 6 stars.

We had hot water both in the evening and morning." These aspects directly address core traveler expectations. However, it's also important to acknowledge feedback regarding the condition of some rooms, where one guest noted that their room "definitely needed to be updated," with "furniture was pretty worn," "grout missing in the bathroom floor tile," and "shower and sink drained really slow." This indicates that while the hotel maintains overall cleanliness, some areas might be showing signs of wear and tear, and updates could be beneficial to maintain the brand's expected "level of care." This specific feedback emphasizes the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, cleanliness, and the presence of a gym. The accommodating nature of the front desk staff, particularly in handling booking errors, further reinforces the hotel's customer-centric approach. While the positive aspects are numerous, the objective introduction also necessitates including the constructive feedback. May 18, 2025 · Dakota DelRegnoThe people at the front desk were really friendly and were super accommodating after I had screwed up a booking. The room was clean and we had clean bedding and towels. We had hot water both in the evening and morning. I, obviously, can only speak for the room we were in, but it definitely needed to be updated. The furniture was pretty worn, as evidenced in some of the other pictures that have been posted. There was grout missing in the bathroom floor tile and the shower and sink drained really slow, which really grosses me out, when I'm standing in a couple inches of water. When I stay at Holiday Inn Expresses, I'm also expecting a certain level of care and this wasn't up to that level. The staff that we encountered were all professional and pleasant, which was the bright spot for us.
Apr 13, 2025 · Jon FairbanksWe came for a weekend and had a great time. I’ve seen some bad reviews that I feel are greatly exaggerated. The staff are kind, friendly, and attentive. Didn’t use it, but the pool looked clean and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, especially the biscuits and gravy! This hotel has some wear and tear but in no way did that impact the quality of our stay.
Apr 28, 2025 · JeanMarie TeresaAvoid This Place! Absolutely Terrible Experience If I could give this hotel zero stars or a negative rating, I absolutely would. This was one of the worst experiences my family and I have had, and we will definitely never stay here again. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a woman knocking on our door, claiming she needed money for pizza because her husband had her wallet. She went on to ask three other people in our group for money, each time with a different story — from leaving her wallet in a Cracker Barrel in Georgia to needing money for her hungry grandchildren. It was incredibly suspicious and unsettling. The rooms were dirty, and there were visible signs of needed repairs everywhere. Our showers had no hot water at all, and we were told on the first day that they weren’t used to having so many guests. However, we had no hot water on the second day either. Not ideal for a hotel stay, especially when you expect basic amenities like a hot shower. Privacy was another major issue. The bathroom vent allowed us to hear everything our neighbors were doing and saying in their bathroom, and I'm sure they could hear us too. Definitely not the level of privacy you want when staying at a hotel. The gym was closed during our stay, and the indoor pool was unheated — not exactly what we expected when booking. If you're looking for a hotel with these amenities, look elsewhere. To make matters worse, there was a loud leak outside our room that kept us awake at night. My husband had to stuff a towel in a bucket just to muffle the sound. And if that wasn't bad enough, the fire alarm went off at 5 AM, forcing us to evacuate and sit in our cars while the firemen cleared the building. We were finally allowed back in after they confirmed it was a false alarm. This place is not worth the price or the hassle. I do not recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of better options out there.
Mar 28, 2025 · Marlena HamrickThe hotel was so clean and the stafff working so nice. I do think it needs a upgrade with toilets and showers. The toilets were so low with arthritis it was difficult to maneuver and the water kept running in the tub even after turning off. But the room was super clean and the sheets were super clean and towels.
