When you arrive at 8;30 pm, you expect to go to your room after driving from Kentucky just to find out your room is not clean and have to wait 30 minutes. We were able to kill time at Cabelas. Let's just say we were FINALLY get in a room at 10:30 pm! Not happy, It was not the front desk fault or housekeeping. They did not have enough housekeeping staff. Owner should have helped out! Was told by the front desk gentleman he'd discount the room....Never happened (not surprised) paid full price for a room that still stank of beer, but we were too tired to let it bother us. Also, the gentleman at the front desk must have been helping clean since he was gone 20 - 30 minutes at a time.

The property is 100% smoke-free, promoting a healthier environment for all guests. The existence of an electric vehicle charging station is a modern amenity that can appeal to eco-conscious travelers. The hotel's affiliation with Choice Privileges rewards program offers an incentive for frequent stays. However, a comprehensive and objective introduction must address the varying customer experiences, which provide vital context.
While some public reviews generally praise the staff as friendly and helpful, and mention good breakfast and clean rooms, specific customer feedback for this location raises significant concerns:
These critical reviews suggest that while the hotel advertises standard Quality Inn amenities, the actual experience can be significantly impacted by issues related to cleanliness, operational efficiency (staffing for housekeeping), and customer service approach. Therefore, while Quality Inn West offers a convenient location and budget-friendly rates for the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, potential guests are strongly advised to consider these varied experiences and perhaps confirm specific details and cleanliness standards directly with the hotel prior to booking, especially if they have particular concerns about hygiene or customer interaction. It's recommended to read recent reviews on various platforms for the most up-to-date guest experiences.

May 18, 2025 · Terri SWe are locals, we only came here because we couldn't get up our road due to it freezing over while I was at work. The woman at the front desk was very adamant that Quality inn "doesn't rent rooms to people that live within 60 miles". We did let her know WHY we were needing the room, but she MADE SURE to let us know how big of a favor she was doing for us by letting us get the room. Our young kid was about ready to panic thinking she was going to have to sleep in our truck. They also charge $100 fee to anyone using a debit/credit card, yet they don't accept cash?? That made zero sense. It's refundable, but that's ridiculous. We finally get into our room and it was ok. Floors were filthy, blankets had holes chewed in them, sheets were dirty (one had a big ass booger smeared right down it), hair all over the bed... Thank God we only had to stay one night. I was too afraid to complain since she was already doing me this HUGE favor by letting us get the room. We should've really just driven the extra hour to pigeon forge and stayed at the hotel we love. At least they would've been friendly and the room would've been clean...
Jan 15, 2025 · Nicole HenkelI checked in coming from ny on my way to work in Texas as I'm a traveling nurse. Looked online said 69 a night go into the hotel and she says it will be a 107 a night I said in only crashing leaving at 4 am she said their will be another 100 held for incidentals ok I said pizza place you suggest around here. She said pizza hut. I didn't care as I was exhausted. I grabbed pizza went in the room it was definitely not what I expected. Family with kids next door screaming and knocking on the adjoining door I asked if there was another room was told No. Whatever i turn my fan on eat jump in the shower and pass out wake up brush my teeth and get dressed put shower towels in a pile and tied my garbage up. Check out asked for a reciept she says no we email it. Whatever I have to go. Get to texas check my bank there's a 207 charge for room/incidentals then another 200 i call noone can answer me switch to 10 people contact customer support who tells me this hotel does it's own billing. And they can't help me.i was told by them you got charged with a smoking pot fee. We found weed in the toilet and on your dinner plate in the garbage. The garbage bags were tied shut. I've called 5 times for the manager/general manager get told he's busy and don't have time to take your call. Leave a message. I did. Now my husband is going to make the call. Worst experience and would never stay again. I will inform all of our traveling people not to use this dump.
Feb 26, 2025 · martha fosterI've stayed here several times. I usually have a good experience and no complaints with the room or service. My last visit I left some gym shorts behind. I contacted the hotel to inform them and ask if the pants could be sent to me. They did mail my shorts to my house, which I appreciate. What I don't appreciate is being charged $29 to mail them. No one contacted me to tell me there would be a shipping charge or what the charge would be. I don't mind paying for shipping at a reasonable rate, but charging my company credit card without informing me of the charge is unethical. Had I been told of the excessive shipping charge in advance, I could have told them to not ship it or give them my personal card number. It's very doubtful I will stay here again.
Oct 26, 2024 · Scott StockdaleThe staff is friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect! The beds were clean and comfortable (no bed bugs) and I liked having the two doors (One leads to inside the hotel and the other leads to the parking lot). The pool area is great! Breakfast was good, they gave many options to choose from! My complaints are the carpet in our room needed a deep cleaning, sink and tub could use some bleach & The coffee maker had mold in it (as most hotel coffee makers do, so, please always check before using those) Overall it was pretty good for the money. Keep in mind that All hotels are taking $50 to $100 room deposits now. The deposit will be put back on your card a few days after you check out.
