Stayed 3 nights mid-week. Good decision for us. Staff was really, really nice, very helpful in every respect. No hassle check-in, Dianna was all smiles (thanks!). Very clean, well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and well-stocked, many choices. Location was very safe, convenient to 295 and other roads. The double room was just a bit tight, but had a fridge, micro, K-cup maker, all the stuff. Ice and W/D down the hall. Price was excellent. Will definitely consider staying here again. Glad we stayed here.
For local users actively searching for "Hotels Near Of Me," Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt. Laurel, an IHG Hotel, emerges as a prominent and relevant option. Located at 121 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043, USA, this hotel is part of the globally recognized IHG brand, suggesting a certain level of standard and reliability. Its position in Voorhees Township, which is adjacent to Mount Laurel, places it strategically for both business and leisure travelers in South Jersey. The "Hotels Near Of Me" category emphasizes accessibility and convenience, both of which are key aspects of this particular Holiday Inn Express location.
The environment of Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt. Laurel is generally perceived as safe, clean, and well-maintained. Its suburban setting in Voorhees Township contributes to a quieter atmosphere compared to a bustling city center, which can be appealing for guests seeking a more relaxed stay. One positive review explicitly states that the "Location was very safe, convenient to 295 and other roads," highlighting its ease of access to major transportation routes, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas or for business commutes. The hotel's physical spaces, such as rooms and common areas, are typically designed to be functional and modern, consistent with the Holiday Inn Express brand. However, there is a significant concern raised by a customer regarding the hotel's "smoke free facility" policy. Despite advertising as smoke-free indoors and having visible "no smoking" signs, a guest reported a "very bad cigarette smell" and observed "guests smoking marijuana all over the place including indoors in rooms and hallways." This directly impacts the intended environment and could be a major detractor for guests sensitive to smoke or expecting a truly smoke-free experience. If not consistently enforced, this issue can compromise the otherwise positive perception of the hotel's environment and cleanliness, a fundamental aspect of comfort for many travelers.
The services offered at Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt. Laurel appear to be a mixed bag, with strong positive aspects and significant areas for improvement. On the positive side, guest feedback praises the staff, describing them as "really, really nice, very helpful in every respect." The check-in process is noted as "No hassle," with a specific mention of Dianna for her welcoming demeanor. This indicates a general commitment to good customer service from many staff members. A key service highlight is the complimentary breakfast, which is described as "excellent and well-stocked, many choices," a significant value-add for guests. This free breakfast is a hallmark of the Holiday Inn Express brand, ensuring guests start their day with a convenient meal. Other services include the availability of ice machines and washing/drying facilities down the hall, providing practical conveniences for travelers, especially those on longer stays. However, the previously mentioned issue of smoke enforcement is a major service concern. A hotel's ability to enforce its own policies directly affects guest comfort and the overall quality of their stay. Another concerning service lapse highlighted in a review was the discovery of a "large clump of hair coming from the fresh towel," which is a clear hygiene issue. While the guest still described their overall experience as "great" despite this, it points to inconsistencies in quality control within the cleaning services. Guests can contact the hotel via phone at (856) 346-4500 or mobile phone at +1 856-346-4500 for inquiries or assistance, but the effectiveness of resolving issues like these would be paramount to guest satisfaction.
The features of Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt. Laurel are designed to offer comfort and convenience to guests. Rooms, even if "just a bit tight" for a double room as noted by one reviewer, are equipped with essential amenities such as a "fridge, micro, K-cup maker, all the stuff." These in-room appliances are highly valued by travelers, allowing for food storage, reheating, and convenient hot beverages. The availability of these features aligns with the needs of both short-term and slightly longer-term guests. As an IHG Hotel, guests can typically expect standard features like comfortable bedding, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV. The presence of complimentary Wi-Fi is a given for most modern hotels and would be expected here, though not explicitly mentioned in the reviews. The hotel's physical address at 121 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043, USA, provides a clear point of reference for GPS navigation and local travel. The inclusion of free breakfast is a significant feature that distinguishes it from many other hotel options, providing both convenience and cost savings for guests. The positive feedback on cleanliness, generally, points to well-maintained facilities, although the "clump of hair" incident highlights that occasional lapses can occur. The hotel's commitment to being "smoke free" (as advertised) is a feature that many guests actively seek, and consistent enforcement of this policy is crucial for it to be a true benefit. The hotel's convenient location near major roads like 295 is also a key feature for accessibility.
Regarding promotional information, Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt. Laurel actively promotes its affiliation with IHG, a well-known hotel group, which lends credibility and assurance of certain standards. The positive customer reviews, despite some notable issues, serve as strong testimonials. Phrases like "Good decision for us," "Will definitely consider staying here again," and "Glad we stayed here" act as powerful endorsements. The "excellent price" mentioned by a satisfied guest is a significant promotional point, especially for budget-conscious travelers searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" that offer good value. The consistently praised "excellent and well-stocked" complimentary breakfast is another major promotional asset, directly appealing to guests looking for convenience and savings. While the smoking issue and the hygiene lapse are critical feedback points that could deter some, the overall positive sentiment expressed by one reviewer, despite these issues, suggests that the hotel offers a compelling package for many guests. The hotel's contact numbers, (856) 346-4500 and +1 856-346-4500, facilitate direct booking and inquiries, allowing potential guests to confirm current policies, address any concerns, and inquire about specific rates or promotions offered. The advertising of a smoke-free facility is a promotional claim that needs consistent enforcement to maintain trust and satisfaction among its target audience. The hotel leverages its brand recognition, value-added amenities like free breakfast, and convenient location to attract guests, making it a noteworthy option in the local hotel market.

Apr 25, 2025 · Paul WernerHi, I recently stayed at this hotel and one of the reasons we chose this hotel is because they are advertising that it's a smoke free facility at the indoors, but when we arrived not only that it had a very bad cigarette smell, nor there were guests smoking marijuana all over the place including indoors in rooms and hallways even though there were signs all over showing no smoking coming from cigarettes other guests have smoked. I hope the hotel will enforce their smoke free facility policy to solve this issue!!! Also, while wiping my face with a fresh towel after a shower I felt a tickle on my face and looked in the mirror and to my surprise it was a large clump of hair coming from the fresh towel!!! But besides for this, we had a great experience!!!
Apr 18, 2025 · Yossi SchwartzWorst hotel I’ve ever experienced! First room lights didn’t work? No problem change rooms clerk gave us points for inconveniences, new room two doubles, changed rooms more points added to my account. Room was fine. We come home at around 10pm and there are between 15-25 kids playing street hockey on the 3rd floor. I called the front desk to complain and they said they would take care of it. Kids never stopped yelling and laughing. My wife suggested to them they go play in the lobby, finally some quiet. 10 minutes later they are back with just as much noise, (presumably kicked out of the lobby for noise). Call the front desk again and they say they will take care of it. We hear some commotion then silence til the fire alarm goes off about 10 minutes later. All the guests have to leave their rooms some in pajamas some on wheel chairs into the night til the fire department gives the all clear. Saturday the kids made their noise outside. Sunday no room service, they said to many rooms were in bad shape from their guests. Every complaint they gave us more points. I only can assume the management knows of all the issues and instructed the employees to keep adding points not fixing their issues.
Mar 31, 2025 · Rob SneddonNeeded a room due to an emergency and I’m happy we came here. The front desk personnel were all excellent, starting with a very pleasant late night check in and Christian working with us to extend our stay until our emergency was resolved. The breakfast each day was very good and the staff kept the entire hotel very clean. Room was in good condition, was clean and the bed was comfy. This was an excellent Holiday Inn stay.
Jan 24, 2025 · Paul OWe met a family member at this hotel because he was working in the area . So we stayed over after going out to dinner . We didn't need anything fancy for one night & just wanted a clean , quiet place to stay. Lobby / reception...nothing fancy but clean & quiet . Front desk staff was friendly and polite . Room ..we had a king sized bed . A bit firm but comfortable. 4 pillows & I found one that was super comfy for my " squishy" pillow addiction . A pillow can make or break a good night's sleep . So thumbs up to their pillows! Blankets were comfy and all sheets pillows , blankets were spotless and smelled clean! The room was nice . Not overly large but we didn't really care . It had everything we needed . We had a fridge & coffee maker . The bathroom was spotless with plush towels and dove soaps . We didn't hear one noise to disturb us all night . We were on the 4 th floor . I don't think the hotel was very full but nonetheless it was a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was very good ! Waffles ,eggs , sausage , hot cinnamon buns! Very good coffee . * Went back again two weeks ago. Most of the breakfast was undercooked & not warm at all. Maybe the breakfast staff was newer. I did mention it to them. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast . It was pretty crowded, maybe that was a factor . ( Wouldn't stop me from going there though) . Don't hesitate to book a quick overnight here if you are looking for a restful ,quiet night's sleep. Located within walking distance of several restaurants as well . This hotel was reasonably priced at about $135 a night .
