Overall, a decent stay. The room was pretty decent. There was a hole in the wall but nothing crazy. Also a shelf in the room was broken and the closet door won’t shut. I can’t complain though. I’ve stayed in worse. In addition, my two buddies had their own rooms. The one room had a broken bathroom door and the rest of the doors wouldn’t shut properly. The other room had an exposed wall outlet. On second thought, be wary of staying here if you have kids. Probably not the safest for them.
For local users in search of "Hotels Near Of Me," Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel, situated at 1000 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043, USA, emerges as a potential accommodation option. As a brand under the Choice Hotels umbrella, Comfort Inn & Suites generally aims to provide comfortable and reliable lodging. This introduction will objectively present the hotel's environment, services, features, and any implied promotional information, drawing from the provided customer reviews to give a balanced perspective for those considering a stay in the Voorhees/Mt. Laurel area.
The environment of Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel, based on customer feedback, presents a contrasting picture. The location in Voorhees Township, specifically on Laurel Oak Road, suggests a suburban setting that is likely quieter than a bustling city center. This type of environment can be appealing for guests seeking a more tranquil stay. However, the internal environment of the hotel, particularly the condition of the rooms, raises significant concerns. One guest described their room as "pretty decent," but immediately followed up with observations of "a hole in the wall," a "broken shelf," and a closet door that "won’t shut." These indicate maintenance issues within individual rooms that can detract from the overall comfort and aesthetic appeal. Furthermore, the review highlights more serious concerns in other rooms occupied by the same party, including "a broken bathroom door," other doors that "wouldn’t shut properly," and critically, an "exposed wall outlet." The explicit warning, "be wary of staying here if you have kids. Probably not the safest for them," directly addresses a major safety concern within the room environment. While the exterior and common areas might maintain a certain standard, the internal room environment, as described, suggests a need for significant attention to maintenance and safety, impacting the overall perception of the hotel's physical setting.
The services at Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel elicit highly positive feedback regarding the front desk staff, contrasting sharply with the issues reported concerning room conditions. One reviewer emphatically states, "The staff at the front desk were excellent!" and specifically praises a gentleman at the desk for being "extremely kind and took the initiative to ensure that everything ran smoothly." This level of proactive and respectful service is highlighted by an incident where the guest's card was declined: the staff member "showed me respect by telling me he would stop trying rather than pushing through and running the risk of locking it." Moreover, the offer to "work around the situation by paying half in cash" demonstrates exceptional flexibility, understanding, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The review concludes by commending "Excellent customer service and genuine kindness!" This strong positive feedback regarding staff interaction suggests that while there may be issues with the physical property, the human element of service at the front desk is a significant strength. However, the absence of any mention regarding how the room maintenance issues were addressed, or if they were even reported to staff and resolved, leaves a gap in understanding the overall service loop. Services typically offered by Comfort Inn & Suites also include complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and sometimes a fitness center or pool, though these were not specifically commented on in the provided reviews. The hotel's phone number, (856) 208-6271, and mobile number, +1 856-208-6271, are available for direct inquiries and reservations, which would be the primary way for guests to interact with the excellent front desk staff.
The features of Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel are generally aligned with what one would expect from a mid-range hotel, though with some notable deficiencies. Rooms are equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay. However, the customer reviews detail several concerning features that relate directly to the condition and safety of the rooms. These include "a hole in the wall," a "broken shelf," and a "closet door won’t shut" in one room. More critically, another room reportedly had a "broken bathroom door" and other doors that "wouldn’t shut properly." The most significant safety concern highlighted is an "exposed wall outlet," leading the reviewer to explicitly caution against staying with children due to safety implications. These issues suggest a lack of routine maintenance and quality control for the physical features of the rooms. As a Comfort Inn & Suites, common features typically include comfortable beds, a private bathroom, and potentially a desk and seating area. The presence of such significant defects in multiple rooms indicates that while the hotel may offer standard amenities, the functional integrity and safety of these features are compromised in some instances. The hotel's location at 1000 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043, USA, is a practical feature, providing a clear address for navigation. While not explicitly mentioned, a Comfort Inn & Suites usually offers free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast, which are expected features that enhance the guest experience. The distinction between a "decent stay" despite the defects suggests that some guests might tolerate these issues if the price point or the positive staff interaction outweighs them.
From a promotional standpoint, Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel has a dual narrative based on the provided reviews. The outstanding customer service from the front desk staff is a strong promotional asset. The specific story of the gentleman going above and beyond to assist a guest with a payment issue showcases genuine kindness and respect, which are invaluable qualities in the hospitality industry. This positive aspect could certainly be highlighted to attract guests who prioritize excellent service and a personal touch, especially when searching for "Hotels Near Of Me." However, this positive promotional aspect is severely weighed down by the consistent negative feedback regarding the physical condition and safety of the rooms. The explicit warnings about "a hole in the wall," "broken doors," "exposed wall outlet," and the direct advice about the hotel "probably not the safest for kids" are strong anti-promotional statements from actual guests. These comments would likely deter many potential customers, particularly families. Therefore, any general promotional claims about comfort or quality from the hotel itself would need to be critically assessed against these direct customer experiences. For local users, the critical promotional takeaway is to balance the reported excellent customer service with the significant and repeated concerns about room maintenance and safety. Guests seeking a budget-friendly option might consider it, especially if they are primarily concerned with excellent human interaction, but they should be fully aware of the potential for deficiencies in the physical property. The phone numbers, (856) 208-6271 and +1 856-208-6271, are available for direct communication, allowing potential guests to inquire about the specific room conditions or recent renovations before booking, which would be a prudent step given the reviews.

Apr 02, 2025 · Gionna Blake-MeltonNice area Walmart is close by the rooms are relatively clean, but they don’t check the bedding so there were dark brown stains on some of the pillows that the rooms are relatively clean and spacious. The staff is not all that helpful when it comes to the food for the breakfast, there was hair in the sausage And the microwave did not work in the room. We had family visited the hotel when we were getting ready to check out and they refuse to return our security deposit assuming that we had them stay overnight. Nice pool though.
Feb 17, 2025 · Logan KiefferIt sucks because the workers were very nice, but the lack of cleanliness wasn’t there. I legit could’ve drew a picture of the person that was staying there before me for everyone. The person‘s hair was still there in the shower on the bed and everything and also a bug flew out of the bed and attacked me lol. It’s nice to have a heated pool, but even the pool was dirty… I had to legit leave at around 11 PM with my family go back home
Mar 04, 2025 · Larry LewisThey kicked us out and said we had 14 children when we had 8!!! I do not recommend if you plan on having a hotel party for children. They watched us come in and waited until the children got in the pool to kick us out. Very rude and racist don’t waste ya money, then he said he wasn’t going to refund me and my sister. We paid for two nights plus a cash deposit. We got everything back! And they charged my card twice ! Still a pending charge
