If I could give a negative star rating, it would be a negative 10 stars. Extremely unprofessional. I came to check in shortly after 4 p.m., and my room or any room like it was not ready yet. I gave my phone number and was told I would get a call when my room was ready. After 2 1/2 hours and no call, I called the hotel and was informed that they called me 10mins after we left. I was told she couldn't get thru to call me. She also informed me that she only tried to call me once and never bothered to even call the phone number under the reservation, either, which was my husband's. When we arrived at the hotel, my husband inquired as to why we were not contacted. The rude, so-called supervisor on duty Amelia didn't want to answer his question. She then attempted to call my phone, and it wasn't even calling anything, just a could not complete message. Apparently, she is not capable of using a landline phone and pressing 9 when dialing out. When my husband requested corporate Hilton Home suites phone number, she gave him a reservation number and not corporate. We finally got thru to corporate. We called twice, and on the 2nd call, I was hung up with no call back. My family and I had traveled over 2 hours to this location to be near our weekend activities. So after this, we were able to check in. My 14 yr old daughter and I were bringing in our bags and were then told our room and reservation had been canceled. It was after 8 pm. At this point, we were tired and did not have anywhere to stay. I have NEVER encountered such rude, unprofessional, and poor service in my life. THANK GOD FOR THE WESTIN HOTEL!! I would NEVER recommend this hotel chain EVER. Its shabby and poorly kept lobby was a clear indication of what kind of hotel this really is.

May 13, 2025 · hrlydtimoWe’ve stayed at many Homewood Suites by Hilton properties, but our recent experience at the Largo, MD location was deeply disappointing. We stopped here for one night to rest on our way home from Florida, but the condition of our suite was unacceptable. While the beds were made, it seemed that was the only effort from housekeeping. The floors were filthy—so much so that we couldn’t walk barefoot. Basic amenities like shower soap, tissues, and extra bed linens were not restocked. The furniture was outdated and stained, and to make matters worse, we discovered trash under the bedroom chair. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Even the couch in the lobby was ripped, which set the tone for the lack of care throughout the property. We were exhausted and managed to take a quick shower and get some sleep, but we chose to skip breakfast entirely—we simply couldn’t trust the food hygiene after seeing the state of the room. While we don’t expect luxury, cleanliness and basic upkeep should be standard—especially given the rates this hotel charges. After reading other reviews, it’s evident that cleanliness is a recurring problem at this location. Hilton should address these issues immediately with stricter housekeeping protocols and better maintenance oversight. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property to anyone.
Jan 04, 2025 · Herika BarchinskiLocation is great. Right around the corner from the Washington Commanders Stadium and a bunch of shopping areas. My only complaint is the service. On the 1st day, i asked for trash can for the kitchen, paper towels because there was none and toilet paper because the one roll was low. They didnt bring it on the 2nd day and on the 3rd day they just made up my bed. No toilet paper, no paper towels, no trash cans and they took my floor mat for the shower and didn't replace it. They didnt even throw away my trash bag that was full.
Feb 24, 2025 · Airess HunterThe front desk staff are great and the Wednesday manager's happy hour is nice as well. The fitness room has nice weights and machines. Hotel is located in a convenient and quiet area. The room looks clean at first but upon closer inspection it is not. I found a lot of human hairs around the room, bedding, and bathroom. The shower floor did not look clean (scrubbed) and basically not hygienic. Toilet seat would slam down in its own as well. Bedding had a strong odor of chlorine. The shower was hot in the morning, but evening showers were cold even after running the water for a while. The air conditioner sometimes runs ice cold and sometimes won't cool much at all. For my one week stay, the housekeeping staff only came once. I travel over 40 weeks a year and a majority of hotels have moved back to daily cleaning. The pandemic is over and they should get with the times. Daily cleaning keeps the entire property in better shape. I did have an issue with my TV. The whole screen was purple the first night, so I told the front desk and a new TV was brought in. This TV also had an issue with very low brightness. I ended up just using it as a quasi -radio the rest of the week.
