Great hotel! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and amazing location close to so many things - only about a 20 min walk to Times Square. Not super fancy and modern but we had no concerns or issues. I know others had issues getting their deposit back but I received it right away!

Mar 16, 2025 · Jessica RaposoTerrible Experience – Still Waiting for My Refund! I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel 57. Upon check-in, they charged me $150 deposit. Despite ample time passing, I have yet to receive my refund. The delay is completely unacceptable, and to make matters worse, they do not respond to emails. The lack of communication and accountability is frustrating. I expected a much higher standard of service, but this has been a major letdown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values transparency and reliability.
Feb 26, 2025 · László HorváthMy stay was well rested. The staff was great. The rooms are quiet. I could hear people in their rooms when I was in the hallway, but once I entered my room I could not hear my neighbors. The room was comfortable and easy walking access to many of the train lines and bus lines. Whole foods and Walgreens were a block over, along with some great eateries. However...this is really not a 4 star hotel. I have been to 3 star hotels with more and better amenities. The room (full/queen) needs updating. Bedding was comfortable but paint on woodwork in the room is very outdated. Some of the wood and wall iron was exposed near ac vent. The tv only has two channels, YouTube & Netflix. I don't recall there being breakfast. There was a space for it, but I never attended (dunkin donuts, b/l/d restaurant, and a coffee shop next door, so you have options). Coffee and tea in room seemed old (packaging was frilled). There wasn't a hotel store just vending machine. For the most part I didn't have any complaints, but the price of the hotel does not match what you would expect in a four star hotel. I would stay here again based on the staff and feeling safe, but not until the amenities are updated to match the price. (5 nights $944 - one bed standard room through hotwire). Seems like different websites have different names for the hotel.
Mar 27, 2025 · crystal wayeThis is NOT a 4 star hotel, highly disappointed in this place. The bathroom looked good at first, and the shower had good water pressure, but every fixture was loose and wobbly. The room was very cramped, with no microwave or fridge. The TV has 2 channels, YouTube and Netflix. The mattresses were rock hard, and the floor in my is my kitchen is softer than the beds. Honestly, this place was a major disappointment, and I regret staying here. There was someone banging through the halls all night long and it sounded like someone doing work, even though it was supposed to be quiet hours. The desk staff was friendly, though, but don't expect any amenities in the lobby other than a single vending machine. Also, not normally a metric I rate a hotel by, but seriously, no kleenex. This place was simply a very overpriced motel 6, with less comfort.
Feb 03, 2025 · Marc BruneThe hotel will charge $150 for incidentals and refuse to refund. It is not safe. The second day of my stay an unauthorized hotel employee attempted to enter my room. When he could not get inside, he tried to convince me to leave my room with him when I refused the hotel front desk confirmed that he had no business being in my room yet the hotel did not do anything to resolve the issue and I felt very unsafe my entire stay. This man had no reason to enter my room.!!!! The only thing preventing him from getting in was that I had flipped the door stop.
