I booked a 2 king bed room and received a1 king and 1 queen. I asked to rectify the issue multiple times to no avail. The staff was friendly at arrival with help for luggage and accommodation. The same cannot be said for the departure, in particular the doorman didn't even care we had to get the luggage up the stairs with kids. Not our first stay at this hotel and not sure if it would stay there any more.

Traveled here for a work trip and had a fantastic experience. The hotel had everything I needed to feel a little more at home. Location was ideal - steps to shopping, Central Park, Broadway - it's right in the middle of everything. The hotel used to be an apartment building so every room is a bit different. The room I stayed in was fabulous, spacious, and well-appointed. Hotel staff was more than willing to help out with anything you might be missing as well. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, kind, courteous - from the doorman to housekeeping staff they were top notch. I can't say enough great things about this place. It's impeccably clean, the rooms spacious and value is off the charts. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Lombardy does not deserve to be called a 4 star hotel. The highlight of my trip included sleeping on wood planks with paper sheets while watching a TV from the 80’s (wires hanging and all), hearing my neighbors flush their toilet through piping in my room, stomping on the floor above me, loud shouting in the hallways at night, being locked out of my room because the key card was “deactivated”, the coffee machine with no coffee, oh and the lovely hospitality of the front desk hanging up on me, not one staff member saying hello, and the doorman never opening the door for us. Unless you know a good room number to stay in here, don’t risk the gamble, even if it is reasonably priced. The photos on their website are likely stock photos because nothing resembled what I saw in my room.

Checked into the hotel tonight and had some trouble with our air conditioning and tv. Daniel came to the rescue and changed our room and made sure everything was exemplary prior to changing rooms. Daniel is king when it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction! We also met a service tech named Ode who was instrumental in getting us super comfortable and set in our new room! So great is the staff here! Don

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Used cigarette butt on the windowsill when I checked in. Bellman demanded more money after I tipped him $10 and came up to the room to ask for it. Terrible smell. Old and dated furniture. The TV didn’t work and they didn’t fix it during a four night stay. No apology from management; no deduction on price or compensation. Uncomfortable bed. Loud HVAC systems that need replacing. Dirty tiles in the bathroom. No coffee or tea provided despite a full kitchen (with nothing in it) and only one small plastic water bottle provided at the front desk which I had to ask for. I travel often and lived in nyc for over 17 years. This place is a scam and should be shutting down.
