Mar 25, 2025 · Kami HoodIt’s a nice hotel in a good location, you hopefully like seafood that’s basically all the restaurants have. The rooms are very little with just a tiny fridge, beds, TV, and a desk. The bathroom was split in 2 the sink was separated from the toilet and shower. There’s no towel racks so hopefully you don’t mind putting your towel on the toilet. Beds are comfortable enough. The coffee was okay. It was hard to find my way around but eventually you figure it out.
May 10, 2025 · Kingston The catI’ve stayed here numerous times. The renovations of common areas of this property are fantastic. Turned a dark, drab, outdated property into a bright, open space that capitalizes on the natural beauty of the lake. Lake view is spectacular, as always. Rooms are fine. But why no coffee maker in rooms?? Lukewarm shower with poor water pressure. As a next step, there is a critical need to work on staff training and hospitality. Staff overall poor communicators, rude and completely lacking in sense of service. Experience at check in made me want to leave and walk to stay at Hotel Vermont where the standard of service is exceptional. Want to mention staff at coffee bar was most friendly and helpful of all staff. A facelift does not mean much without the core value of customer service.
Apr 19, 2025 · Eva BeroThis hotel exudes faux luxury, but is truly just a moderately well located 3 star hotel that thinks itself a 5 star. For the price of a cheaper hotel, this would be a fine stay in the middle of Burlington. However, for the price we paid, this is absolutely mediocre. The room was laid out poorly. The bathroom had no ventilation, and was just a toilet and a shower, the sink was in a different room. There weren't even towel racks. The AC fan vent was unadjustable, there was no cable (and only about 6 streaming services available on their built in device), and the phone didn't work. The phone not working could otherwise be fine, but the cell service in our room was awful (and we were on the corner, not buried within the hotel). Hopefully you enjoy seafood, because the hotel restaurant has only 3 items that arent fish, and the café is incredibly overpriced ($11 for OATMEAL?). The available internet wasn't great, which was extra annoying since the only option was to stream on Netflix or Tubi, unless you paid extra for "faster" wifi. The blanket was too small for the bed, and quite thin while the 4 sheets were too large and also very thin. The small hallway "pantry" left everything to be desired: we were told there would be pastries, but there was only coffee, hot chocolate, and house flies. No microwave was available in the room nor the pantry, nor did the room have its own coffee pot. The only benefit to this location is the proximity to the center of Burlington, and even so, it's not a short walk up a long hill. The view was amazing in our room, and I believe that's where most of our $800 bill came from, but even so; for $800, I'd expect more than a nice view out the window.
Apr 27, 2025 · Jon CameronBeautiful property right next to Lake Champlain, staying for several days on vacation with the family. The property itself is not new, but it’s been kept up-to-date and the amenities are all nice. Rooms are small, but completely functional. Common areas are very nice with great balconies and sitting rooms. Properties extremely close to Church St and walkable to everything in downtown Burlington.
