I stayed at this hotel for the weekend with my wife and two young kids. Despite claiming to be a 4-star hotel the quality and cleanliness could have been better, and in my opinion as a Hyatt Globalist member who has stayed at Hyatts throughout the US and Europe, this hotel is probably more like a 3-star. Also, while it is technically in Buckhead which is a well-to-do area, the hotel itself is at the far end of an older mall’s parking lot, and in hindsight not the best area if you’re traveling with young kids like I was. I also didn’t receive a room upgrade as a Hyatt Globalist (or if what the hotel gave me was an upgraded room then I hate to imagine the standard room). Finally, I booked and prepaid for the hotel through Amex Travel (which itself provides an upgraded room irrespective of my Globalist status), and the hotel refused to honor the $100 dining credit that was part of the package I booked. I discovered this later on when reviewing my credit card statement and saw that the hotel charged me. When I reached out to the hotel I was told that despite the fact I booked the package through Amex which the hotel confirmed included the $100 credit; despite having prepaid for the stay in full on my Amex Platinum card; despite having received an envelope at check-in from the front desk that stated I booked through Amex and advised me of the benefits including the $100 credit; despite asking the front desk if I could use the credit at the in hotel restaurant; and despite the waitress confirming that if I charge the bill to my room I will receive the credit; the hotel manager later advised me that the credit will NOT be honored. I was advised that despite prepaying for the room in full on my Amex Platinum, that because I used my World of Hyatt Visa Card to pay for the incidentals—i.e. two nights of parking which was the only incidental—that somehow voided my prepaid reservation package. Notably, I went back and looked at the reservation’s terms and conditions and there is NO requirement to have also used my Amex card for the room incidentals (again, limited to parking and my erroneously billed restaurant visit). While I can’t recommend this hotel due to its location and disappointing room cleanliness/quality, the poor customer service is just the icing on the cake. I wasn’t planning on leaving a review regarding the hotel at all, but the issue with the $100 credit was the straw that broke the camel’s back. There is another hotel in the immediate area, a luxury one by another brand but for a comparable price, and in hindsight I should have stayed there instead.

Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta Introduce

For individuals seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in Atlanta, especially within the upscale and fashionable Buckhead district, the Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta presents itself as a modern and stylish option. Located at 3301 Lenox Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30326, USA, this hotel aims to offer a vibrant and sophisticated stay. You can reach them at (470) 391-1234 or +1 470-391-1234.

The environment of Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta is rooted in its prime location within one of Atlanta's most affluent neighborhoods. While technically in Buckhead, it's positioned at the "far end of an older mall’s parking lot," which some guests might find less ideal, particularly when traveling with young children, as it may not feel as central or bustling as other parts of Buckhead. However, its proximity to major shopping destinations like Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza is undeniable, with Lenox Square being just steps away. The hotel also boasts adjacency to Path400, a multi-use greenway that connects neighborhoods and provides a recreational outlet for cyclists and pedestrians. This blend of urban convenience and access to green space offers a varied environment. The hotel's design itself is modern, reflecting a global spirit with vibrant colors, style, and patterns, celebrating Buckhead's local clay, pottery, and sculpture heritage. The interior spaces aim for a boutique feel with clean lines and modern furnishings. Guests frequently praise the sensational views from the hotel, particularly from higher floors and the rooftop areas, offering vistas of Buckhead and the Atlanta skyline.

The services at Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta are designed to enhance the guest experience with a focus on modern convenience and attentive hospitality. The staff generally receives positive remarks, with guests often highlighting their attentiveness and personality, as exemplified by positive feedback on servers like Jhozea at the bar. The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk, ensuring assistance is available at any time. Daily housekeeping is typically offered, and rooms include amenities like coffee/tea makers and complimentary bottled water. However, there has been a significant reported issue regarding the honoring of pre-booked dining credits, where a guest experienced a refusal to honor a $100 dining credit despite booking through Amex Travel with confirmed benefits. This suggests a potential area of concern regarding the consistency of honoring promotional packages and the resolution of guest complaints, even at a management level. While this may be an isolated incident, it highlights the importance of clear communication and adherence to booking terms. The hotel is also pet-friendly, welcoming dogs at no extra charge and even offering an enclosed green space called "Centric Paws Park" for furry guests. Other services include dry cleaning/laundry services, a concierge desk, and a complimentary house car and rental bikes, making it easier for guests to explore the local area.

Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta boasts several appealing features. The rooms and suites are described as very nice, roomy, and sophisticated, with vibrant color palettes, bespoke furnishings, and high ceilings. They typically include a cozy sitting area, floor-to-ceiling windows for great views, 65-inch flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee makers, and Drybar hair dryers. Bathrooms often feature walk-in showers and elevated amenities. A standout feature is the 15th-floor rooftop bar, "Spaceman," which offers spectacular views of Buckhead and the Atlanta skyline. It provides interior and exterior lounge-style seating year-round, serving delicious, shareable dishes and craft cocktails, making it a popular spot for socializing. The hotel also features an outdoor rooftop pool with scenic views, loungers, and umbrellas, which is heated for year-round enjoyment. For fitness enthusiasts, there's an airy 24-hour fitness center with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling city views, equipped with Life Fitness equipment, treadmills, free weights, and Peloton bikes. Dining options include two restaurants: Three Arches, offering Mediterranean cuisine, and Mount Royal, specializing in classic American cuisine. For parking, the hotel offers both self-parking and valet parking. Self-parking is around $40 per night, and valet parking is approximately $52 per night, both with in/out privileges. Height restrictions apply for on-site parking. The hotel also has meeting facilities and a 24-hour business center. However, despite generally positive descriptions of rooms, one guest expressed disappointment with the perceived quality and cleanliness, rating it closer to a 3-star property and suggesting that a room upgrade, if received, was not significantly noticeable.

From a promotional standpoint, Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta positions itself as a luxury boutique hotel in a premier Atlanta location. Its affiliation with the Hyatt brand and the "Centric" collection emphasizes its focus on connecting guests to the heart of the destination. Key promotional messages highlight its proximity to high-end shopping at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, its modern and stylish rooms, and its attractive amenities like the rooftop bar with sensational views and the outdoor pool. The hotel also promotes its direct access to Path400 for outdoor recreation and its pet-friendly policy with a dedicated "Centric Paws Park." The availability of a complimentary house car and rental bikes further enhances its appeal for exploring the local scene. While the hotel aims to offer a 4-star experience, potential guests should consider that individual experiences with service consistency and room standards, especially concerning cleanliness or upgrades, can vary. The pricing for parking is also a factor to consider, being on the higher end for the area. Despite these points, the overall package of a contemporary hotel with desirable amenities in a sought-after location makes Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta a notable option for those looking for a sophisticated stay in Atlanta.

I love this places. The rooms are very nice and roomy. The views are sensational. The bar is awesome. Out server Jhozea was the best. Very attentive and so much personality. I'm here for 3 days. This is Day 1 and so looking forward to the rest of my trip.

Recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric and I have to say the experience was likely the best of any hotel stay I have had, from check-in to check-out the service was amazing, the property is also amazing, Spaceman the rooftop bar is great. I highly recommend this location to anyone considering. There are some complaints about crime, but at no point did I see anything that would make anyone feel unsafe. The staff is highly involved with daily duties and safety was clearly a top priority.

I stayed here one night and i have to say i was impressed. There was a slight mixup with the room i booked. I contacted the hotel, explained the situation and within 15min the issue was resolved. I decided to self park and after dinner the lot was full. I again explained the situation to the valet and they took care of it right then and there allowing me to use the valet service for the inconvenience. The room was on the 14th floor and it was immaculate. Everything was clean and polished. My wife and I wanted for nothing in the room. As far as noise from the city, we didnt hear a single noise from outside. Overall, next time i stay in Atlanta i won't look anywhere else. Ive stayed in hotels in LA, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tennessee, Florida, etc. The Hyatt Centric kicks the pants off them all.

Excellent staff and in particular the lady with straight short hair (forgot the name) who worked Tuesday morning, March 11 was a hero. I left my purse in the lobby during our checked in and in the morning my husband went down to the main desk. The lady checked all around and was able to find it. This helped us enjoy the rest of our trip. The rooftop bar is amazing providing a relaxing atmosphere with world class vistas of Buckhead and downtown Atlanta.
