After driving across the entire country from California to Pennsylvania, my family and I arrived only to be told that our reservation—made well in advance—was canceled the same day because of our pets. Here’s the kicker: when I booked, the hotel clearly advertised itself as PET FRIENDLY with zero mention of restrictions on specific animals. It wasn’t until I was already on the road, exhausted and expecting a place to rest, that they decided to call and inform me that “pet friendly” apparently doesn’t include cats. What kind of bait-and-switch nonsense is that? If they had this arbitrary rule, it should have been disclosed upfront—not used as an excuse to leave travelers stranded at the last minute. The staff offered no solutions, no empathy, and no effort to make things right. Instead, they left us scrambling for alternative accommodations after we had driven across the entire country. Their lack of professionalism and accountability is shocking. If you’re traveling with pets, don’t trust Hyatt House Allentown. Their misleading policies and last-minute cancellations could leave you out in the cold—literally. Absolute disgrace.

The rooms are clean which they offer daily cleaning services, the hotel itself is very clean and maintained. I literally have zero complaints about anything, from customer service to the food and the comforting atmosphere this place deserves a 5 star review from everyone because it has to be one of the best hotels in the area. I’d recommend this over wind creek casino resort if you are looking for a great place to stay at. I am a diamond elite member for both IHG and Hilton honors which I have been for 7+ years now. I’d recommend Hyatt house over any of them in this area.

Our room was clean and super nice. Overall we have nothing to complain about, we will be back!! Thank you for making our experience more than worthy Hotel Hyatt House Allentown.
