Location is convenient, but the staff had a bit of an attitude problem, didn't tell us about check in or out times for it being our first time, stains on the mattresses and the sheets, dust in certain parts of the room, found a dead stink bug on the floor, the bathroom shower head were just disgusting, ceiling tiles were just enough falling down or had at lot mold, and the beds itself were just uncomfortable. At this point, its just a last resort.
For local users in Paxinos, PA, or those traveling through the area and searching for accommodation within the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform category, Knights Inn Paxinos may appear as an option. Located at 1134 W Valley Ave, Paxinos, PA 17860, USA, the hotel can be contacted at (570) 644-0466 or +1 570-644-0466. It is crucial to provide an objective introduction based on available information, including direct customer feedback, to offer a comprehensive and realistic understanding of what prospective guests might experience.
The environment of Knights Inn Paxinos, based on recent customer reviews, raises significant concerns regarding cleanliness and upkeep. While the "Location is convenient," this appears to be one of the few positive aspects regarding the physical environment. Guests have reported numerous issues directly related to the condition of the rooms and bathrooms. Specific complaints include "stains on the mattresses and the sheets," "dust in certain parts of the room," and even the presence of a "dead stink bug on the floor." The bathroom shower head was described as "disgusting," and alarming details about the ceiling tiles were mentioned, noting that they were "just enough falling down or had a lot mold." These descriptions collectively paint a picture of an environment that struggles with basic hygiene and maintenance, which is a fundamental expectation for any accommodation, regardless of its price point. The beds themselves were also noted as "uncomfortable," further detracting from the potential for a restful stay. This consistent feedback on the physical state of the rooms suggests that the environment may not meet common standards for comfort and cleanliness, leading one reviewer to state that it is "just a last resort."
Regarding services, the feedback from guests indicates potential issues with customer interaction and transparency. One reviewer specifically mentioned that the "staff had a bit of an attitude problem" and "didn't tell us about check in or out times for it being our first time." This lack of clear communication and perceived unfriendliness can significantly impact a guest's initial impression and overall experience. A particularly concerning service-related issue involved billing. A guest who booked and paid $90 online for a night was "immediately asked to pay $100 more that would be refunded after my stay." This policy, described as costing "more than the room," led to confusion, as the guest "couldn't get a straight answer on how long it would take until I got that $100 back," and they expressed doubt about receiving the refund. Such practices and lack of clear communication regarding additional fees and refunds are major red flags for transparency and fair service.
The features of Knights Inn Paxinos, based on the provided reviews, are unfortunately characterized by their shortcomings rather than strengths. Essential features like comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, which are expected in any hotel, appear to be problematic. The presence of stains on mattresses and sheets, along with a "disgusting" shower head and mold on ceiling tiles, directly impacts the usability and desirability of the bathroom facilities. While the convenience of the location along W Valley Ave might be a feature for some travelers, the condition of the internal amenities appears to overshadow this benefit. The review does not detail other common features such as Wi-Fi availability, parking, or complimentary breakfast, which are often expected even at budget motels. The focus of the feedback is overwhelmingly on the negative state of existing features rather than a positive description of available ones.
From a promotional standpoint for local users searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, Knights Inn Paxinos would likely be marketed as a budget-friendly option due to its affiliation with a national chain typically known for economical stays. However, the objective feedback from real customers directly challenges the value proposition. The issues with cleanliness, staff demeanor, hidden charges, and the overall uncomfortable and poorly maintained environment are significant deterrents. While its location might offer convenience for specific travel plans, the pervasive negative experiences reported by guests make it difficult to recommend the hotel as a comfortable or reliable choice. The strongest promotional information available is the candid assessment by a guest that it is "just a last resort," indicating that it might only be considered when no other options are available. Prospective guests prioritizing cleanliness, comfort, clear communication, and fair billing practices should be very cautious when considering this property for their stay in Paxinos, PA.

Apr 26, 2025 · Erreys of WarI booked and paid for 1 night online for $90, arrived to check in and was immediately asked to pay $100 more that would be refunded after my stay. There policy cost more than the room.. I couldn't get a straight answer on how long it would take untill I got that $100 back, I probably won't.
Feb 14, 2025 · Rob CBed bugs, roaches, and wet moldy walls. All this found within 5 minutes of being in the room. Hotel refused to acknowledge any problems and wouldn’t give a refund. Owners clearly stopped maintaining this place and are trying to get every dollar they can out of it before it inevitably closes.
Aug 18, 2024 · Cory PoppThe tvs didnt work . We booked two rooms and there was no warning about $100 deposit. Then when we went to check out they took the key and didn’t say nothing about the deposit . Had to speak up to get it back .please don’t say you don’t tolerate this behavior on like any other post . You need to do better!!
Oct 17, 2024 · Steven ritcheyWorst experience I've ever had at a hotel. The bathroom is disgusting. None of the beds were clean and we spent the entire night dealing with roaches running around the room. ONTOP of the fact one of our doors leading to the outside didn't lock. Staff fixed it but that should have never been a problem to begin with. No one walks around these rooms bothering to do the slightest clean as we have found old socks and earrings laying around. The chain to lock our door is no longer on our door. You are better off pulling into the sheetz parking lot two minutes to the road and sleeping in your car than staying here.
