This little hotel is an absolute gem. It is spotlessly clean and the owner is super organized and responsive. We stayed for three nights and loved being able to walk down to Central Park in the mornings, and coming back to such a calm, quiet space in the evenings. The beds were super comfortable and we slept well. We will definitely stay again!

Every room has been super clean and comfortable and I’ve loved every one for a different reason! The character and originality of La Sienna is incredible - wood floors and fireplace mantles in rooms make a wonderful place to relax after a day exploring! Yvette is a great host, providing everything from complimentary tea and coffee to great advice on how to get around, where to eat, and what to see/do! She’s very focused on providing a clean, comfortable, and safe place for everyone! It’s close to subway and bus stops, has great restaurants nearby, a bodega on the corner, and a Whole Foods a couple of blocks away. It truly is my home away from home when I’m visiting and I’m always happy to be back!

She assisted us with a late check in due to a delayed flight which was also appreciated. The rooms were clean, comfortable & had air conditioning. Location is a little out of the main NYC area but for the price it is definitely worthwhile and is close to a subway station anyway. Thanks Yvette!

Yvette thinks of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She is very helpful and fair. Her prices are amazing for a safe, friendly and exceptionally clean place to stay. As mentioned in other posts, the location is ideal. There is everything you could need within walking distance. Great subway and bus accessibility to get around and to and from JFK and La Guardia. Yes, Yvette sets rules but they are for the safety and benefit of all. This is her home and it should be treated with the respect you would expect of your own. La Sienna really is my home away from home and I look forward to every visit!

There are house rules which help keep the place organised and clean. It felt homely and had character. Location is close to La Guardia airport bus and subway to downtown, making it an easy base to explore NYC from.
