Nice quiet place for the money. Clean. Staff is nice. Just know this isn't an extended stay where alot of commotion going on.. they have a curfew and guard on site every night so it's great for people who just working and don't mind following the rules . They are enforced .
For those in Marietta, Georgia, searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category for a unique type of accommodation, Lorene Lodge offers an option that straddles the line between a traditional hotel and an extended-stay apartment community. Located at 500 Lorene Dr SW, Marietta, GA 30060, USA, and reachable via phone at (770) 434-0366 or +1 770-434-0366, Lorene Lodge is distinctive for its operational model, which includes specific rules and a focus on longer-term residents.
The location is noted as being "just minutes away from fabulous shopping, delicious restaurants, and fun entertainment." While specific names of establishments aren't provided, this suggests that guests will have reasonable access to everyday necessities and leisure activities. Nearby amenities often include grocery stores, discount stores, and a variety of local and chain restaurants. Given its Marietta location, it would be within a reasonable driving distance of key Cobb County attractions such as Six Flags White Water, Marietta Square, The Battery Atlanta, and Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. It is also near several schools, including Osborne High School, LaBelle Elementary School, and Smitha Middle School.
The environment appears to be aimed at fostering a more settled, residential feel, distinct from a typical transient hotel. However, this also implies that the "commotion" often associated with short-term hotel stays might be reduced, which could appeal to some guests.
Community amenities and services reportedly include on-site maintenance and on-site management, which are vital for addressing issues promptly. A distinguishing feature, as highlighted by a customer review, is the presence of "a curfew and guard on site every night." This implies a structured and security-focused environment, which can be a significant draw for guests prioritizing safety and a quiet atmosphere, particularly in a long-term living situation. The property also has laundry facilities, which are essential for extended stays.
While not explicitly stated as a hotel, its listing as such and the presence of phone numbers suggest it offers nightly or weekly rates alongside longer-term options. The distinction from a traditional hotel lies in its residential-style features and stricter operational rules. It is also noted as being pet-friendly, though pet restrictions and fees may apply.
Positive feedback emphasizes that it is a "nice quiet place for the money" and "Clean." Guests appreciate the "nice" staff and the presence of an on-site guard and curfew, which contributes to a sense of order and safety. For individuals who are "just working" and "don't mind following the rules," the Lodge can be "great," as the rules "are enforced." This suggests that for a specific segment of the population seeking a structured, no-frills, and secure extended stay, Lorene Lodge meets expectations effectively.
However, another review, an update from a two-year-old perspective, indicates a significant decline in experience. The primary complaint is about "thin walls" leading to excessive "noise level," and a perceived lack of responsiveness from management regarding complaints about neighbors. This reviewer feels that "no one respects their neighbors" and that the management "are not going to do anything about it." The desire for new guests to be informed about noise levels and for stricter enforcement for those who "work late or have to get up for work early in the morning" points to a struggle with maintaining a peaceful environment for all residents despite the presence of a curfew and guard. This stark contrast suggests that while the intention for a quiet and orderly environment exists, its consistent enforcement and the inherent structural limitations (thin walls) can lead to highly unsatisfactory experiences for some guests.
The overall feature set caters more to a long-term rental market, providing basic living essentials rather than hotel-style amenities such as daily housekeeping or room service. The emphasis on rules and on-site security shapes the resident experience significantly.
The target audience primarily consists of:
Promotional messaging would likely emphasize the "value for money," the "clean" environment, and the "nice staff" reported by positive reviewers, while also implicitly or explicitly mentioning the unique operational aspects like the curfew and on-site guard as benefits for maintaining a secure and quiet atmosphere. However, due to the conflicting reviews, it is essential for potential guests to conduct thorough research, perhaps by contacting the Lodge directly to understand its specific rules and current living conditions, especially regarding noise levels and management's responsiveness to complaints. Lorene Lodge appears to be best suited for those who understand and are comfortable with its particular style of regulated, long-term accommodation.

May 19, 2025 · Amanda StoneI made a review 2 years ago and I can't edit it, things have actually gotten worse, walls are very thin, no one respects their neighbors, and you can't complain about anything because they are not going to do anything about it. I feel like they need to inform new guest about noise level at a certain time. Especially for guests who work late or have to get up for work early in the morning.
Jan 07, 2025 · Amber JohnsonI stayed there a few yrs. Ago & was very comfortable, handy to everything. The bed bugs & roaches are there only if you want them if you get my drift.
