A fishing buddy and I came to the area to fly fish the famed limestone spring creeks Yellow Breeches, Letort Spring run and Big Creek Spring. Mountain Creek Tavern was the perfect location for a base camp. The room looked and smelled noticeably clean, the bathtub was newer, there was a nice coffee service and a selection of complimentary snacks. The furniture is what you'd expect from a mid-century motel, but the beds were very comfortable and that's the most important. Although check-in is contactless, a manger was there to greet us and make sure the room was in order before our arrival and that we had plenty of coffee. Great customer service. There were restaurants all around town and a good one right across the street. We were just sorry that the Tavern was closed for renovation, but we're hoping it will be open for our next visit, because we will be back.

Sep 01, 2024 · Joseph NeumannCheck-in by phone was as easy as described in the reservation. Little snacks, coffee and complimentary water were offered in the rooms. It is the ideal place to stay for a night on your way through or you can enjoy nature. Don't miss Gettysburg and take a look at one of the most historic sites in the U.S.

Jun 22, 2024 · ChrisGood place to stop for a refresher drink and a quick bite. Atmosphere is 100% a bar scene. Service was on the rough side. I had wings and a couple drinks. Which were good. I gave it 3 stars because it was exactly as expected.
Apr 06, 2023 · shawn stambaughThere is no one at the hotel when you check in and check out, you have to call someone to get a code for the lock box that is on your door to your room. There is no sign saying the name of the hotel.
