Located at 1246 Mountain Springs Dr, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, USA, this resort hotel is a hidden gem that offers a distinct blend of tranquility, natural beauty, and a range of accommodations and services designed to provide a memorable escape from the everyday hustle. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a significant life event like a wedding, Mountain Springs Lake Resort presents a compelling option.
The environment at Mountain Springs Lake Resort is perhaps its most defining feature. As the name suggests, the resort is centered around a pristine private lake, offering an immediate sense of peaceful seclusion and natural beauty. Guests consistently describe feeling "away from it all," immersed in the serene lake life and the great outdoors. The property is designed to integrate seamlessly with its natural surroundings, featuring lush landscapes, mature trees, and direct access to the water. This provides ample opportunities for enjoying the fresh air and scenic views. The ambiance is one of quiet charm and rustic elegance, making it an ideal setting for those looking to disconnect and recharge amidst nature's embrace. The private lake ensures a sense of exclusivity and calm, differentiating it from more bustling public lake destinations.
The services at Mountain Springs Lake Resort are tailored to enhance the guest experience, whether for leisure stays or special events. The staff plays a crucial role in creating a positive impression. For couples planning their wedding, the resort's wedding coordination services are highly praised. Reviewers highlight the professionalism and meticulous planning provided by coordinators like Sharon, who is described as "excellent" and ensures "every decision was carefully thought about." This level of dedicated event planning suggests a commitment to making special occasions seamless and memorable. For general guests, while not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, a resort of this caliber typically offers attentive front desk services, maintenance, and potentially on-site dining options, contributing to a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The availability of golf cart rentals, as noted by a guest, is a convenient service that allows for easy navigation of the sprawling resort property, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment.
Mountain Springs Lake Resort boasts a variety of features, particularly in its accommodation types, catering to different preferences and group sizes. The resort offers both luxury suites and more private cabins. The Luxury Suites, such as Suite 9, are conveniently located close to the Main Lodge, offering easy access to central facilities. These suites typically include amenities like a fireplace, a large tub (as mentioned by a guest), and a back patio with pleasant views, providing a comfortable and well-appointed space for relaxation. However, it's worth noting a piece of feedback from guests regarding the soundproofing in the luxury suites, where neighbors can be heard through the walls. This is a consideration for light sleepers or those highly prioritizing complete auditory privacy. In contrast, the cabins are highlighted for offering more privacy, suggesting they are freestanding units that provide a greater sense of seclusion. While the cabins may offer more privacy, guests appreciate the amenities available in the luxury suites, indicating a trade-off between privacy and certain conveniences. The provision of these distinct accommodation types allows guests to choose the option that best suits their needs and desires for their stay. The presence of amenities like fireplaces in some accommodations enhances the cozy, rustic charm, particularly during cooler months.
Beyond accommodation, the resort's features extend to its recreational offerings. The private lake is central to many activities. While not explicitly detailed, lake resorts typically offer opportunities for boating (kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding), fishing, and swimming during warmer months. The tranquil setting is ideal for leisurely walks, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. For weddings and events, the resort's beautiful backdrop and dedicated coordination make it a highly recommended venue, as evidenced by positive testimonials from couples who have tied the knot there. The very nature of a "resort hotel" implies a comprehensive experience with activities and facilities on-site to keep guests engaged and entertained without necessarily needing to leave the premises.
For those considering promotional information, it is always recommended to directly contact Mountain Springs Lake Resort at (570) 629-0251 or +1 570-629-0251, or visit their official website. Resort hotels frequently offer seasonal packages tailored to different times of the year, such as romantic Valentine's Day escapes, summer family packages, or fall foliage specials. Wedding packages are undoubtedly a significant part of their offerings, often customized to the couple's needs and guest count. They might also have special rates for extended stays, weekday visits, or off-peak seasons. Given its appeal for a "get away from everything" experience, look for promotions that include amenities like spa services (if available), complimentary use of recreational equipment, or dining credits. Corporate retreat packages might also be available for businesses looking for a unique and serene environment for their teams.
In conclusion, Mountain Springs Lake Resort is truly a "hidden gem" for anyone searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Stroudsburg area of the Pocono Mountains. Its primary allure lies in its stunning private lake environment, offering a tranquil escape from the demands of everyday life. The resort provides a range of accommodations, from well-appointed luxury suites with desirable amenities to more private cabins, catering to varied guest preferences. The exceptional service, particularly for wedding planning, highlights their commitment to guest satisfaction. May 10, 2025 · Kyle AdamonisWe stayed in Luxury Suite 9. It’s connected to L 8 on the end of the strip of Luxury Suites. They are very conveniently located close to the Main Lodge. We also had a golf cart rental which was great to have for the extended weekend! We enjoyed the fireplace, the tub and the back patio with a pretty view. One thing that we didn't like was that we heard the neighbors next door through the walls. Also, an 11:00 am checkout would be much better than 10 am! Not sure if It’s possible to have better soundproofing. The cabins are more private, but we do like the Amenities at the luxury suites.
May 20, 2025 · Kathy HSpent the weekend with my wife for an anniversary trip. The resort is pristine! Cabins, lake, trails, everything was perfection. The sense of.peace and calm we both felt all weekend was unbelievable. We felt safe and rested. We can't wait to try out another season here. Fall and winter would be so cozy with the fireplace and surrounding forests and the icy lake. Bruce at the office was so friendly and informative of resort and surrounding Pocono area from where to eat, where to see amazing scenic views to the history of the resort. We saw Bill (one of the owners) on multiple occasions around the resort and he was always so kind and willing to answer questions or just say hi. You can feel the pride that is taken in this gem. Does not feel corporate in any way. It feels.like how I would want people to feel when coming to my home. Thank you so much!!
May 04, 2025 · John HartenstineWe had the most relaxing and wonderful time at MSL Resort! The cabins were beautiful and very clean, the property is well maintained and peaceful, and the fishing was so much fun! We specifically went for a fishing trip and the whole resort exceeded our expectations. Each cabin has their own boat to use during your stay. They sell bait in the main lodge shop which was very convenient too, Bruce in the office was super helpful throughout our stay. We booked another week in the summer while we were there as we had the most amazing time! There is a 2 mile nature trail around the lake that we enjoyed as well. Highly recommend this escape for your next vacation!
Apr 18, 2025 · Melissa ChaputNice place. I stayed in one of the luxury suites and the room was very nice. But there were a few small negatives. I was under the impression that they were detached units, and actually, I ended up in the middle of two other units. I wasn't the only one who got this impression from the website because someone else in my group thought the same thing. The main issue was the noise from my neighboring unit. Could easily hear their conversation and the noisy coffee machine every morning. Also, the high ceilings with upper windows were nice in theory, but in the afternoon, I was blinded by the sun and the roo. Was too bright at 5:30 in the morning. Electric shades would be a great improvement. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The jetted tub and multi headed shower were very nice. Fishing in the lake was enjoyable. Overall, it was a very good experience.
