2nd time staying here for 4+ nights and overall the place is clean and welcoming. Fridge and microwave are a plus. The staff communicated effectively and left the key for us out on our late arrival. We really appreciated that!! Downsides is there’s not a lot of parking, the rooms are not sound proof and the floors are thin/creaky. We received a noise complaint; we were traveling with our one year old. I did book this 4 months in advance so they probably should have given us a bottom floor. He’s a crawler and just learning to walk so there’s a fair amount of thumping and crying. Another downside is the baseboard heating pipes clank all night. Plus it’s drafty. Not sure if I’ll book my next stay here with our little one as there was only a shower stall, we also didn’t have a sink in our kitchenette so we had to wash bottles in the bathroom, but it’s good for solo or couples.

Situated directly on the picturesque Nantasket Beach, this hotel offers immediate access to the sand and sea, providing a quintessential New England beach experience.
Environment and Location:
The most significant environmental draw of the Nantasket Beach Hotel is its prime beachfront location. Guests are literally steps away from the expansive shores of Nantasket Beach, known for its fine, light gray sand and gentle slope, which reveals beautiful tide pools at low tide. This proximity makes it perfect for leisurely strolls, sunbathing, swimming, or simply enjoying the ocean views and sea breeze. The hotel's setting offers a tranquil escape from the urban hustle, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from many of its rooms and common areas.
Beyond the beach, the hotel's location in Hull, MA, offers a blend of natural beauty and local charm. It is conveniently close to local attractions such as the Paragon Carousel and Museum, the Hull Artist Studio Connection, and Gallery Nantasket. For those looking to explore further afield, the hotel is just 10 minutes from the ferry to Boston, providing an easy and scenic route to the city's historical sites, cultural institutions, and vibrant dining scene. Logan International Airport is also within an 11-minute drive. The surrounding area boasts approximately 19 restaurants within walking distance, offering a variety of dining options for guests.
The hotel itself is described as clean and welcoming, with beach-themed décor in its rooms, creating a cohesive coastal ambiance. Some rooms offer partial-ocean views, while others face landward. The property features a terrace and a garden, providing additional spaces for guests to relax and enjoy the coastal environment.
Services and Amenities:
The Nantasket Beach Hotel aims to provide a comfortable and convenient stay with a selection of essential amenities. All guest rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, a microwave, and a refrigerator, which are highlighted as significant pluses for guests. Many rooms also feature a Keurig coffee maker, a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer, a telephone, and air conditioning/heating. Some rooms also offer a balcony or patio, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh air and views.
The hotel offers free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property, ensuring guests can stay connected. For those who require it, there is a business center available. Guests can also find vending machines for snacks and drinks on-site. While some information online suggests a complimentary breakfast, other reviews do not explicitly confirm this for the "Nantasket Beach Hotel" specifically, indicating this may be a feature of a nearby associated property or a detail that varies. It's also important to note that, according to some information, this particular hotel does not have a pool. However, a nearby, similarly named "Nantasket Beach Resort" does feature indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, and a fitness center, which can sometimes lead to confusion. For the Nantasket Beach Hotel specifically, the focus is on direct beach access and in-room conveniences.
The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs up to 25 lbs for an extra charge and a deposit, with service animals being exempt from fees. However, pets cannot be left unattended in the rooms. The front desk operates for limited hours, from 8 AM to 10 PM, and guests arriving late need to contact the property in advance for check-in instructions and key retrieval. The hotel also offers self-parking for a surcharge, and luggage storage.
Features:
A key feature of the Nantasket Beach Hotel is its intimate size, with only 22 guest rooms, which can contribute to a more personalized and quieter experience for guests compared to larger resorts. The emphasis is on comfortable and well-appointed rooms, with modern amenities like microwaves and refrigerators, which are highly valued by travelers for extended stays or for families. The hotel's communication and flexibility are also highlighted, with staff being able to accommodate late arrivals by leaving keys out for guests, which is a highly appreciated service.
However, some reviews mention potential downsides related to the building's structure. The rooms may not be soundproof, and floors can be thin and creaky, leading to noise complaints from guests with young children. Additionally, baseboard heating pipes have been noted to clank at night, and some rooms might be drafty. Some rooms are noted to have only a shower stall, and some kitchenettes might lack a sink, requiring guests to use the bathroom for washing items like baby bottles. Guests have also noted that the beds, while comfortable, might be harder than a "pillow top" description suggests. Photos of certain amenities, such as a pool and hot tub (if referring to an associated property), may be outdated.
Promotional Information:
The Nantasket Beach Hotel positions itself as a clean, welcoming, and conveniently located option for those visiting Nantasket Beach and the surrounding area. Its direct beach access is a major selling point, ideal for those seeking a relaxing seaside getaway. The inclusion of in-room refrigerators and microwaves caters to guests who prefer some self-catering options, enhancing convenience and potentially saving on dining costs.
While some past promotions might have been offered through platforms like Groupon for a "Nantasket Beach Resort" (which appears to be a different, larger property in the area with more extensive amenities like pools and a hot tub), potential guests for the Nantasket Beach Hotel should directly inquire about any current deals or packages by contacting the hotel. The hotel emphasizes its suitability for solo travelers or couples, given some of the noted room configurations and potential noise considerations for families with very young children.
For direct inquiries or to make a reservation, the Nantasket Beach Hotel can be reached at (781) 925-4100 or +1 781-925-4100.

Dec 01, 2024 · Michelle SuttonRooms are great, bed is superhard, not pillow top as info states. The pics of the pool and hot tub must be 15 yo, it is dated and enough bleach in the hot tub to make me cry (literally) and they wouldn't do anything about it after asking twice.
Feb 22, 2025 · A gmailI have stayed at NBH 3 times this year. I can’t say enough about the staff! Robyn, Grechan and David are all awesome! The atmosphere is like a neighborhood! I can’t wait to go back!
Mar 19, 2025 · Priscilla BosaccoThis was an excellent stay! Booked for one night, ended up staying for two. Robin at the front desk was amazing and so friendly and helpful with recommendations! The room was great—felt more like an apartment. Spacious. Beds were comfy, everything was clean, nice amenities included (bottled water, a makeup cloth, chocolates on the bed, etc.). Great location, breakfast place right around the corner. Bike rentals were available too. We loved our stay here!
Oct 04, 2024 · Kathleen FoxxBeautiful rooms, great service. We ended up booking for a second night. We found this on our drive up the East Coast. The hotel is walking distance from the beach. With traffic, it's about an hour drive to Boston.
