We had an awesome time with Northern Outdoors on Opening Day on the Kennebec River. Our group of five ranged in age from 10 to 50, including three kids. Every one of us had a blast. The experience was incredibly well-organized and totally safe. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. Even or two youngest who were trying rafting for the first time. The river was cold and hilly. Never felt unsafe, and the natural beauty of the surroundings made it even more special. The post-trip meal was amazing. Hearty, delicious, and the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend

Stayed in the Lodge for 2 nights and it was comfortable and fun! The room was above the bar which was pretty cool as one of the windows overlooked the main foyer/front desk/fireplace. Bar stopped serving at 9pm which meant it was rowdy by any means (it was during May so prior to their busy season). Did the Kennebec river tour with Connor and Ty (spelling? Sorry) and they were amazing guides (and safety). Water and weather were cold but it was so much fun! Long great adventure and we even saw a massive bald eagle! Connor and Ty also cooked lunch for us after back at the Lodge (rainy weather prevented lunch from being cooked on the river) and it was delicious and followed up by a slide show of our rafting adventure. Pictures were available for purchase as they were taken by their local friend. We bought them for sure! The Lodge is comfortable and full amenities. They never claim to be the Ritz but I personally thought it was wonderful. Our room two queen beds and a single twin, small fridge, and full bath. Shower head was brand new, and the bathroom had a stack of towels. The bathroom is on the smaller side but the water in the shower was soooo hot! Hot tub was nice and I forgot to mention there is a small arcade too! Had breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the Lodge and it was all delicious. Would gladly come back here. If we lived within 4 hours of here, I'd come back monthly.

We recently stayed at Northern Outdoors during our snowmobiling trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The cabins were comfortable, cozy, and exactly what we needed after a day of riding. Each evening, it was great to come back to such welcoming accommodations. The restaurant at Northern Outdoors offered delicious meals, and the friendly staff made dining there even more enjoyable. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home. Overall, Northern Outdoors provided excellent accommodations, great food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip in the area. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

This place is amazing I went there with my BSA troop yesterday it was a really fun experience I did the kennaback river and my gide was Liana she was telling us story's about how they used to transport logs in the river. She was very nice I tried to find her on the website to get more info but she wasn't on there. All the staff was kind its a good place for family's more adult based but still great for family's 10/10 experience the only thing I didn't like was how expensive pictures where I wish they where a little cheaper but still an amazing place the experience is worth it I took a 5 hour drive up there worth every second.

We flew up from TN to go snowmobiling and knew nothing about Maine. We lucked out with Northern Outdoors. The cozy cabin had all the necessities, very secluded, clean and well maintained. The lodge was a nice touch to get good food and local brewed beer. The gravel road is pretty steep to get to the back cabins but was not problem in a mitsubishi highlander. The staff was very friendly. Jack
