We stayed at this resort with our family over Easter and really enjoyed our time. The area is beautiful, and there’s a lot to do on-site and nearby — activities for all ages. We especially liked the mini golf, which was a fun highlight for us, although one of the holes had a ball stuck under a large rock, which was a bit frustrating. There were plenty of entertainment options, and we loved how lively and family-friendly everything felt. The location is also great — close to everything, but still peaceful. The only downside was the indoor swimming pool — the water didn’t seem clean, so we decided to skip it. It would’ve been nice to enjoy that as well. Overall, it’s a great place for a family trip, and we’d definitely consider coming back, especially if a few small things are improved!

The overall ambiance is designed to be "lively and family-friendly," suggesting an environment where children and adults can engage in various activities while still finding moments of relaxation. The internal environment of the villas themselves can vary, ranging from more dated units (like the "Treetop" mentioned in one review) to more modern and spacious accommodations (such as "Fairway"), influencing the overall environmental perception for guests.

The services offered at Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts are extensive, designed to cater to a diverse range of guest needs and preferences. A key service is the provision of various villa types, accommodating different group sizes and preferences, from smaller units to large three-bedroom houses capable of sleeping up to 10 guests. Each villa typically includes a full kitchen, providing guests with the convenience of preparing their own meals, a significant advantage for families or longer stays. On-site dining is also available, as indicated by a guest mentioning having "breakfast at the Warehouse which was pretty good," implying a dedicated restaurant or dining facility. For recreation, the resort offers numerous services and facilities. These include a mini-golf course, which was a "fun highlight" for one family. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are key attractions, though one review noted a cleanliness concern with the indoor pool, which is an important consideration. Other potential services common in resorts of this type might include fitness centers, sports courts, and organized activities for various age groups, contributing to a full vacation experience. The "welcome center" serves as a central point for guest services, including check-in, check-out, and potentially arranging upgrades, as experienced by one guest. The provision of entertainment options is also highlighted, contributing to the "lively and family-friendly" atmosphere. While not explicitly stated in the provided text, common resort services like Wi-Fi, parking, and potentially shuttle services to key on-site areas or nearby attractions would typically be part of their offering.

Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts boasts numerous features designed to enhance the guest experience. The core feature is its villa-style accommodation, offering more space and privacy than traditional hotel rooms. These villas can range significantly in size and modernity, from older "Treetop" units with "furniture was from the 90s" and "closet" bathrooms to newer, more luxurious "Fairway" units boasting "three large bedrooms," a "huge master bedroom with an electric fireplace," and a "master bath had a jacuzzi and a sauna." This variation in villa quality is a crucial feature for prospective guests to note. Recreational features are abundant and cater to "activities for all ages." These include mini-golf and indoor swimming pools, which are highlighted in reviews. The resort's location "close to everything" in the Poconos is a significant feature, allowing easy access to external attractions, while still maintaining a peaceful environment within the resort itself. The concept of "entertainment options" also suggests a variety of programmed activities or facilities beyond just static amenities. The ability to accommodate large groups (up to 10 people in some villas) is a key feature for family reunions or group getaways. The general atmosphere of being "lively and family-friendly" is also a notable characteristic that defines the guest experience. The resort's ability to offer upgrades, as seen with the move from Treetop to Fairway, indicates a degree of flexibility and a commitment to guest satisfaction when possible.

When it comes to promotional information, Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts undoubtedly emphasizes its appeal as a comprehensive family vacation destination in the Poconos. Key promotional points would include its beautiful natural setting, the wide array of on-site activities ("mini golf," "plenty of entertainment options"), and the family-friendly atmosphere. The spaciousness and amenities of the villas, particularly the more modern and luxurious units, would be a strong selling point for groups and families seeking a comfortable and well-equipped stay. The resort's convenient location, being "close to everything" while still offering a "peaceful" retreat, would also feature prominently in marketing. Promotional campaigns likely showcase happy families enjoying the various activities, highlighting the "fun highlight" experiences. Testimonials like "We really enjoyed our time" and "Overall, it’s a great place for a family trip, and we’d definitely consider coming back" serve as powerful social proof. The resort might also run promotions on specific villa types or offer packages that include access to certain amenities or nearby attractions. However, for transparent promotion, the resort might consider acknowledging the variance in villa styles (e.g., promoting renovated units more prominently) and addressing feedback like the indoor pool's cleanliness, perhaps by highlighting maintenance efforts or providing real-time updates on facility conditions. For local users looking for "Hotels Near Of Me," the promise of a full-fledged resort experience with diverse activities without extensive travel would be a major attraction, making it a viable option for weekend getaways or longer family vacations.

This was a case of two different experiences. We was initially booked in treetop. This house had two bedrooms in the basement and a weird open loft with twin beds. The furniture was from the 90s. The bathrooms were a closet. My wife was ready to run. The return to the welcome center where we were upgraded to Fairway. Here we had three large bedrooms. The master bedroom was huge with an electric fireplace. The master batg had a jacuzzi and a sauna. The house could sleep 10. This was what we expected to get. Since the resort was mostly empty it was a quiet fun time. We placed games and enjoyed the indoor pool. We had breakfast at the Warehouse which was pretty good.

Units were nice. We stayed in one that's been updated, but not one of the newly renovated units. We had to move midweek due to guests in the adjoining unit smoking their cigarettes and weed all day. The staff was very accommodating. We were between seasons so the tube slides were not operating. The horseback riding was really enjoyable. The sales presentation was miserable. There's only so many times you can be called stupid by someone whose math doesn't computer. But overall we enjoyed our visit.

We stayed here on a whim after clicking on an ad from vacationvip.com. That website wasn't forthcoming at all that the fee we paid upfront was like their finder's fee. We still had to pay $75 for the taxes for the 3 night stay. I must say, however, that the accommodations were more than we expected. We got a beautiful 2 floor villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (one which included a jetted tub for 2), and a loft with 2 single beds. Nice and spacious for two to 6 people for sure. It also had a faux fireplace, big dining area and adequate kitchen. The beds were pretty worn and uncomfortable. There were lots of fixtures like lampshades, walls and ceilings that needed some repairs or replacing. Even one of the windows wouldn't stay open so we had to be creative for getting some fresh air. However, it was much more than advertised and a very pleasant experience overall. We used the hot tub/pool areas and took some walks on the grounds. It was too cold to do most of the outdoor activities but they looked great. Most of the snow was gone so we didn't get the chance to do that either. This would be a great place to escape to any season for any reason. The best part was by far the staff! From the flexibility at check-in to the great upkeep by staff in the common recreational areas like the pool and arcade, and the amazing sales staff as well. We also felt warmth and welcomed. It was the perfect blessing for our anniversary trip! We would definitely come again and rent a villa from an owner even though we didn't opt to buy one ourselves. Their investments in their people surely set this place apart from many other resorts. It's great location only adds to its charm and appeal as well. 10000% recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the Poconos in a fantastic way. We truly left recharged, which is what a getaway like they provide should do!

The bedrooms were neat, clean and comfortable. However, having no bathroom on the main level was a setback. In addition, the significant amount of steps required to get from the car to our villa was excessive to say the least. Both my wife and I are seniors who are in good health and shape. Transporting luggage and groceries to and from our villa was a challenge.
