My family and I came from a relaxing summer weekend and the only type of treatment we received was racism. I felt super uncomfortable with the environment here. Not only was our cabin outdated, far from the activities (20 MINUTES WALKING!!!) and the sheets and towels were dirty. To get into the pool and the beach you need to be with your card and I find this truly inconvenient because it restricted our freedom here especially Since we came with a big group. I have not felt satisfied with the time that my family and I haven't spent here. We have been treated differently from everyone else here. I thought this was going to be a great summer getaway for my cousins and I tried to give a chance to this place, apart from all the low reviews. But at the end I was disappointed and left with a sour taste with this place. The reviews do not lie!!!! I would not recommend this place for any occasion!!

Quail Hollow Village Introduce

Welcome to Quail Hollow Village, a resort hotel situated at 75 Trapper Springs Ln, Drums, PA 18222, USA. For inquiries, you can reach them at (570) 788-5071 or via mobile at +1 570-788-5071. Positioned within the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform category, Quail Hollow Village aims to provide a resort experience within a convenient reach for local users seeking a getaway. This introduction will provide an objective overview of the resort, encompassing its environment, services, features, and relevant promotional details, based on publicly available information.

Quail Hollow Village is nestled within the expansive Beech Mountain Lakes Resort, a substantial 2,800-acre property characterized by lush western Pocono woodlands. This setting offers a serene mountain environment, providing a natural backdrop for a range of activities and relaxation. The resort is located on a beautiful 200-acre lake, which contributes significantly to its appeal, especially for water-based recreation. The landscape provides ample opportunities to connect with nature, whether through lakeside strolls, enjoying scenic views, or engaging in outdoor sports. The overall environment aims for a peaceful and rustic ambiance, contrasting with the hustle and bustle of city life.

Regarding its services and features, Quail Hollow Village offers units designed to provide the space and comfort of a home with the added amenities of a resort. Many units are fully furnished, often including all utilities such as water, sewer, electric, and trash, which can be a convenient feature for guests. Units may vary, but typically include two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, with some offering lake views. Common in-unit amenities can include air conditioning, high-speed internet access (Wi-Fi), televisions, and full kitchens, which might come equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, range, and refrigerator. Some units may also feature a fireplace, adding to the cozy atmosphere. For those planning an extended stay, short-term rentals are often available with a minimum stay of one night, catering to both spontaneous trips and planned vacations. Maintenance on-site and property management services are generally available to assist guests during their stay.

The resort boasts a variety of features and amenities that cater to different interests, aiming to provide a comprehensive vacation experience. A central hub of activity is the Beech Mountain Lakes Clubhouse. This clubhouse offers a climate-controlled indoor pool, a jacuzzi whirlpool for relaxation, racquetball courts, and a fitness center for those looking to maintain their workout routine. For outdoor sports enthusiasts, tennis courts are available on-site. The presence of a beach area on the lake allows for swimming and sunbathing during warmer months. Beyond structured activities, the clubhouse often includes an arcade with video games, ping-pong, and billiards, providing entertainment for all ages. Outdoor features within the resort often include a courtyard, picnic areas, and direct lake access for boating and fishing. The lake itself is noted for its fishing opportunities, particularly for bass, pickerel, and panfish, with Necopek Creek also winding through the property for trout fishing. During winter, guests can engage in sledding, while warmer seasons offer opportunities for lake sports, swimming, and fishing.

While the resort provides numerous on-site activities, its location in Drums, PA, also allows for access to a broader range of nearby attractions and promotional opportunities. The Pocono Mountains region is known for its diverse offerings. Several 18-hole golf courses are typically within minutes of the resort. For those interested in gambling or entertainment, Pocono Casinos are generally less than 30 minutes away. During winter months, the area becomes a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding, with ski resorts like Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Montage, Camelback, or Eagle Rock located nearby. Tubing is also often available at these slopes for family fun. Beyond winter sports, popular scenic Pocono attractions include Bushkill Falls and opportunities for white water rafting. Shopping is also accessible, with name-brand shopping outlets and local malls in the vicinity. The region also offers a selection of fine restaurants. While not directly stated as a promotional offer for Quail Hollow Village, the proximity to these attractions often forms a significant part of the draw for visitors considering a stay. The resort's ability to offer a "space of a home" with "amenities of a resort" could be seen as an ongoing promotional point, emphasizing comfort and convenience. The presence of fully furnished units with utilities included can also be considered a key promotional aspect, especially for those seeking a hassle-free stay. Specific pricing for rentals can vary, but generally, two-bedroom units have been observed to start from approximately $1,600, though it's always advisable to contact the resort directly for the most current rates and any special promotions.

However, it is important to provide an objective introduction, and real customer reviews highlight certain aspects that potential guests should be aware of. Some reviews indicate that certain cabins or units might be outdated, with instances of dirty sheets and towels reported. The walk to activities, such as the pool and beach, has been noted as being considerable, with one review mentioning a 20-minute walk. Furthermore, access to the pool and beach may require a card, which some guests have found inconvenient, particularly for larger groups. There have also been mentions of units being old and in bad repair, with very steep and narrow stairs that may not be up to code, posing challenges for individuals with mobility issues. All bedrooms are typically located upstairs, which is a factor to consider for some guests. One significant concern raised in a review was an experience of racism and feeling uncomfortable, with a perception of being treated differently from other guests. While the scenery is generally appreciated, these customer experiences suggest that the property might be more suitable for younger guests or those prepared for a "fixer-upper" type of accommodation. It is crucial for prospective guests to weigh these points against the advertised features and amenities when making a booking decision. It is recommended to contact Quail Hollow Village directly to inquire about the condition of specific units, accessibility features, and current operational policies regarding access to facilities, to ensure expectations align with the offering.

This place was old and in bad repair. If you, in any way, have issues with going up not-to-code, very steep and narrow stairs, go elsewhere. All the units have all bedrooms upstairs. The scenery is nice, but this is a place only for the young and those willing to stay in a fixer upper.

Beautiful view of the lake and we enjoyed the beach. The house was nice enough, and kitchen was well stocked with supplies, but it's definitely dated and could be cleaner (cobwebs on lights, dirty exterior, etc). I ended up scrubbing the handrail to the second floor as it was visibly dirty and slightly sticky to the touch. Also the air conditioning on the second floor didn't seem to work.

Dirty, dated, and disappointing. Entire condo had visible dirt, dust, and cobwebs. Smelled like pot. Bathrooms had mold. Spent the first hour wiping off blackened handprints on doors and railings. Found a dirty sock in a closet from a previous guest. Had the place for a week. Stayed one night.

Not the best. Not the worst. The property was not maintained adequately. It was dirty, in poor repair, and accommodations were out of date. 10 am checkout is unrealistic. Expecting the guest to clean and strip the place and threatening a 25$ fee if they don't is inappropriate (especially with the 10 am checkout). The landscape is beautiful. The hiking was gorgeous. I would not stay here again. I would consider it for 50 per night.
