Dec 22, 2024 · Dj RandolWe had been out goofing off all day with the intention to go back home that same day. My husband suggested that we just stay for a few days like a out of the blue spontaneous action. We'll we ended up at Walmart as we needed some swim shorts and some essentials. We forgot deodorant and toothpaste and brushes. The wonderful lady checking us in provided us with everything we need. Shaving cream and razors combs for our hair we had it all. The room was a king suite. Was just newly remodeled room. Was beautiful. The only hiccup we had was the indoor heated pool was cold and hot tub water was literally dirty black water. We immediately reported this to the front desk. Nice place to stay but bring your own pillows.
Apr 16, 2025 · Doug RussellIt was the worst place I have ever stayed. The room smelled really bad. The carpet was wet in one corner. Then there was no hot water. Told the lady at front desk and she just said I will have someone to come and look at it. So we took a cold shower. lol. They did not offer us a refund, discount or another room to get a shower. The room was #180 do not stay there.
Feb 01, 2025 · Harvey HensleyOne of the best budget friendly motels I e stayed in great clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great breakfast all for a a great price. Will be my go to choice whenever in Maggie Valley
May 14, 2025 · Darrel KowalskiFound this in our room - I thought I would share the joke in the photos. *Would come back, any negatives were not worth mentioning. Very happy with our stay, staff was nice. Everything was very good.* - Our room felt clean and had a nice design. It wasn't humid like other reviews said, also no strange smells. - I have a picky hotel breakfast eater actually enjoy the breakfast this time, I was very pleased. - Bed and pillows comfortable, pillows are the right size (not too thick to use for your head, like other hotels). - Bathroom felt a little tight at first, but it was fine after I got adjusted. No way to plug tub to take bath, I'm thinking that is on purpose. Hot water was great. - We had a king suite. I think it's a regular sized room with a divider between bed and couch. I believe all the other rooms are doubles, not queens. - Did not have the bedding in the room for couch's foldout mattress, so I just got a couple of flat sheets from the front desk since the fitted sheets they give for these are usually too small and just pop off anyways. I didn't get a blanket for it, but the room has a good working a/c and heater unit. - Bring your phone's charging block, there were plenty of outlets but only one usb plug by the bed. - In lobby they have bottled water and a variety of canned soda for $2 each, cash only
