Very big rooms. Staff friendly. My only complaint when I came in my room it was had noticeably not been cleaned. All the way floors were not clean tub was not clean. Had to move to a different room . But besides that it was good. It’s not very easy to get to almost missed it . Kid friendly. Breakfast served on 3rd floor so you do not have to go down to lobby. But you are right next to a shelter not a lot of stores around but it was a nice stay.

While the location offers excellent access to these key areas, it's important to acknowledge some aspects of the immediate surrounding environment. Some guests have described the "neck of the woods" as a "little rough," with observations of "bums everywhere" and "weirdos walking the hallways." This feedback suggests that guests should be aware of the urban setting and exercise typical caution. It is also noted that the hotel is "right next to a shelter," which contributes to the character of the neighborhood. While the hotel’s parking lot lights are bright, enhancing security, the area lacks an abundance of readily available stores, meaning guests might need to venture a short distance for diverse shopping or dining options beyond the hotel itself. Despite these environmental considerations, the hotel remains a practical choice due to its direct access to major roadways and attractions.
The hotel features an indoor heated pool, providing an opportunity for relaxation or a quick workout, though it's worth noting that the pool may have seasonal closures (e.g., from December to February). A 24-hour fitness center is also available for guests wishing to maintain their exercise routines. For business travelers, the hotel offers a business center with copy and fax services, free wireless high-speed internet access throughout the property, and meeting/boardroom space.
Guest rooms are generally described as "very big rooms" and come equipped with a range of useful amenities. These typically include refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers, allowing guests to store and prepare light meals or snacks. Irons, ironing boards, and hair dryers are standard. Many rooms also feature recliners for added comfort, and some even include two-person hot tubs, which can be a pleasant surprise for guests. Free local calls and newspapers are often provided. Laundry facilities are available on the property for guest convenience, which is a significant benefit for longer stays. The hotel also has a 24-hour front desk, vending machines, and offers free self-parking, including space for trucks, buses, and RVs. While pets are not permitted, service animals are welcome.
However, customer reviews highlight some areas where the hotel's features may require attention. Cleanliness has been a mixed bag for guests. While some have praised the staff as "friendly" and the rooms as "clean," others have reported "noticeably not been cleaned" rooms, with issues such as unclean floors, tubs, and even visible body hair or debris. Some rooms have been described as "worn out," with issues like cracked jacuzzi tubs, rusty or dirty air vents, and mold spots on shower curtains. There have also been mentions of "ashtray smell" in non-smoking rooms, indicating potential challenges in maintaining a strict non-smoking policy. The breakfast, while hot, has had some isolated complaints about milk quality. The general sentiment is that "you get what u pay for," suggesting a budget-friendly experience with occasional inconsistencies in quality and upkeep. Despite these critiques, the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff, as noted by several guests, stand out as a positive feature.
Promotions are often tied to its chain affiliation, Choice Hotels, which may offer loyalty program benefits, special rates for members, or seasonal discounts. Travelers are encouraged to check the official Quality Inn website or contact the hotel directly at (502) 754-4365 to inquire about current deals or packages, especially for extended stays or group bookings. The hotel aims to be a straightforward, family-friendly choice that provides essential comforts for a reasonable cost, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a practical base in Louisville.

May 07, 2025 · Brittney MckenzieA little ruff around that neck of the woods! Bums are everywhere..... Parking lot lights are bright . Breakfast is on the third floor, and the girl preparing it, she walked around in a bathrobe?. . overall, it was a very weird experience. I felt as if I could not ever take my eyes off my children. Not even going to the vending machine on our floor.. A bunch weirdos walking the hallways... you get what u pay for! The guy at the front desk was cool and friendly 😎 . He suggested a couple places to eat!! Witch was good 👍🏻!
Apr 15, 2025 · Rusty StolpDisappointing Experience This was the first time I’ve ever walked away from a hotel I booked. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. When we checked into our first room, we found dirty food left behind. We were moved to another room, but it was also not clean. To make matters worse, the entire hotel had a strange smell—an odd mix of smoke and cleaning supplies—that made it feel even less welcoming. The parking lot lights were overly bright, more like security lights, which made us wonder if there had been issues in the past. While it’s good to have safety measures, it added to the uneasy feeling. On the positive side, the desk staff was incredibly kind and understanding. They promptly refunded us, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and atmosphere made it impossible for us to stay. I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience. --- My rating system ⭐ - I would not stay the night, does not meet 2 star ⭐⭐ - the place is safe to property and health. I'd stay here again only if I got a free night ⭐⭐⭐ - safe to property and health. 50/50 if I'd stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - safe to property and health. I'd probably stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - safe to property and health. I'd definitely stay here again
Dec 26, 2024 · Cat ChoThe only good thing here was the breakfast lady and her cooking. 3 hotel rooms in 2 nights of stay. First room the doors lock didn't work. Second room there was no outlet cover, fire hazard, blood on the wall, and rusty pins on the bathroom floor. 2/3 of the bathtubs jets didn't work so don't get high hopes that yours will. Best spend some more money and avoid this at all costs.
Apr 21, 2025 · Jordan HalbinPlease save yourself the trouble and heed all of the bad reviews. The area is sketchy, bathroom (all of it was dirty), the room was dirty. Smell was horrible. I was there for work, thankfully they got me out of there and into a different hotel. As I was leaving a guest walked out of his room, and dropped his Crack pipe on the floor. There's a review from a year ago about my room specifically, 319, and it hasn't changed since that review. Another guest told me that she brought her own bleach to clean the bathroom with. My question is if people are paying that much money for a room, why are they having to clean the bathroom themselves?
