Ok i slept well and it was quiet. Its not the Ritz-Hilton for sure but there is a McDonald’s and a quick fill within walking distance. The woman at the desk made me a fresh pot of coffee in the morning. It’s an older place but they are keeping it going but I lived in cabins in Maine and Canada too so I’m used to roughing it.The A.C worked well and yes it was clean and no odors like a lot of even more expensive hotels have. I enjoyed my stay here. And it was not expensive. The bed was clean and comfortable.Toilet and shower worked.A deal for $50 And you have a private entrance to every room if you wanted to stay longer. She just told me $900 a month.yeah

Red Carpet Inn North East, PA Introduce

For those navigating the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in North East, Pennsylvania, the Red Carpet Inn North East, PA, located at 12264 E Main St, North East, PA 16428, USA, presents itself as a no-frills, budget-conscious lodging option. This establishment aims to provide a straightforward and economical stay for travelers, with a focus on basic necessities and a convenient location. It's important to approach this hotel with an understanding that it caters to those prioritizing affordability and practicality over luxury or extensive amenities.

Environment: A Simple Roadside Stop

The Red Carpet Inn North East, PA, is an older property, described by some as "dated" or "run down," indicating a vintage aesthetic rather than modern design. It's a single-story establishment, which often means direct, private entrances to each room, a feature that some guests appreciate for convenience and privacy. While it doesn't boast elaborate landscaping or grand architecture, it is noted to be "nestled in 15 acres of mums," suggesting some surrounding greenery, and is positioned near the NY/PA border. Its roadside location on East Main Street makes it easily accessible for travelers passing through or visiting the North East area. Guests have noted its quiet atmosphere, which can be a significant advantage for a good night's sleep. The immediate vicinity offers practical conveniences, with a McDonald's and a Quick Fill station within walking distance, providing easy access to quick meals and fuel.

Services and Amenities: Functional and Basic

The Red Carpet Inn North East, PA, provides a range of basic services and amenities designed to meet the fundamental needs of travelers. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which is a crucial comfort, especially during warmer months. Guests consistently report that the AC units work well. Each room typically includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels (though some reviews suggest limited channel options), a microwave, and a refrigerator, allowing guests to store and prepare simple snacks or beverages. Private bathrooms with a bath or shower are standard. Free Wi-Fi is available, though its reliability has been a point of mixed reviews, with some guests finding it unreliable. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, providing around-the-clock assistance and late check-in options. Housekeeping is provided daily. While some older information might mention a complimentary breakfast, recent guest reviews indicate that this may no longer be consistently offered, or is limited to just coffee in the morning. However, the presence of a McDonald's nearby mitigates this for many guests. The hotel also offers free self-parking on-site, a significant convenience for those traveling by car. It is also noted to be a pet-friendly establishment, though charges may apply, and restrictions on pet size or number might be in place. Laundry facilities are also available for guest use.

Features: Practicality and Affordability
  • Affordable Pricing: This is a key distinguishing feature of the Red Carpet Inn. Reviews frequently highlight its low cost, with one guest mentioning a rate of "$50" and another noting a potential monthly rate of "$900." This makes it an attractive option for budget travelers, long-term stays, or those seeking the absolute lowest price point.

  • Private Entrances: Many rooms reportedly have private external entrances, offering guests direct access to their vehicles and a sense of privacy often not found in interior-corridor hotels.

  • Cleanliness (Generally Reported): Despite its older appearance, several positive reviews commend the hotel's cleanliness, specifically mentioning clean beds and no unpleasant odors. This is a crucial factor for many travelers, especially in budget accommodations.

  • Friendly Staff: The individual at the front desk, often described as a "woman at the desk," has received positive mentions for being friendly, accommodating, and even making fresh coffee for guests in the morning.

  • Convenient Location: Its proximity to fast food options (McDonald's) and a gas station (Quick Fill) right within walking distance, along with being near major roads, adds to its practicality for travelers on the go.

  • Pet-Friendly: The hotel accommodates pets upon request, making it a viable choice for those traveling with animal companions (though it's always best to confirm pet policies and any associated fees directly).

This was the worst place we’ve ever had to stay in by force because of weather No snacks or anything for breakfast or even any place to eat. the room was scary to sleep in because of worries about bed bugs. We are surprised that it is allowed to be in business. No hot water but wouldn’t matter we wouldn’t even think of showers here. Disgusting. I would rather sleep in my car if it ever happened again. 👎 please take this as advice if it happens to anyone. Thumbs down 👎

85 bucks to watch the place deteriorate and crumble. No visible maintenance in years. No layers of paint tells me enough. Air conditioner unable to cool the room until after sunset. Nice hot water. No bugs. Great mattress. Good pillows.

We picked this place due to the many wineries in the immediate area. However, I would have driven an extra 30 minutes rather than come back here. Here's some of the things wrong with our room: -No soap to wash our hands with (liquid or bar), even when asked. -There was only half a roll of toilet paper in the room when we arrived and no one at the front desk when we went to ask for more ("ring bell for service" sign was a complete lie). We ended up having to take napkins from the breakfast area. -Would not give us an extra chair for our room, even from the completely empty lobby. -Every TV channel was staticky, even after trying to tighten the cable connector. -One of the lamps was missing a bulb. -There were no paper towels in the dispenser shown in the pictures. -The walls were stained and the AC looked like it had mold. -The fire alarm was clearly tampered with and may have been broken (wasn't going to test it just in case). Things that were fine: -Good water pressure. -No bedbugs. If you care about the quality of your hotel room, go literally anywhere else.

100 degrees outside A/C was barely cool so asked for another room was told didn't have another told her we need to do something as you just charged me $200 low and behold she had another room. The breakfast they say is free is nonexistent. I originally had no complaints bout this place, but now don't know if will be back
