I’m not sure what I was expecting, considering the other reviews, but this place really lived up to them! As mentioned by other reviewers, we were there for soccer tournament. The proximity to the tournament fields was the only thing that worked for this place. We reserved a king non smoking. When we arrived, we were given a queen. When I pointed this out, we were moved to room 204. This room was totally unacceptable. Compared to other rooms of similar price, it was clear we paid too much for what was available at this motel. There appeared to be upgraded rooms available, if you’re lucky I guess! The bedskirt was stained. The bed was held up by bricks. The AC didn’t work well. There were exposed wires in numerous places. One bedside light didn’t work. A roach ran across the floor. There were stains/particles on the bathroom wall. The comforters were clearly dirty. Despite having reserved a non-smoking room, the room had an ashtray in it. Thankfully, it did not smell like smoke, however. This was the worst accommodation I have ever paid for. Avoid at all costs.

Red Carpet Inn & Suites 524 NJ-73 Hammonton NJ Introduce

For local users in the Hammonton, NJ area or those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with a specific need for proximity to certain venues, the Red Carpet Inn & Suites at 524 NJ-73, Hammonton, NJ 08037, USA, may appear as an option. This establishment is a motel-style accommodation, often considered by travelers seeking budget-friendly lodging, particularly for short stays or when proximity to local events, such as soccer tournaments, is the primary driving factor.

The "Hotels Near Of Me" category, in the context of the Red Carpet Inn & Suites, primarily highlights its geographical convenience. For individuals participating in or attending events in the Hammonton area, its location on NJ-73 can be a direct and simple choice. However, it is crucial for potential guests, especially those from the local community or nearby areas, to have a realistic understanding of what this particular establishment offers, based on publicly available guest feedback. The information provided below is an objective synthesis of customer reviews found online.

Environment and Location:

The Red Carpet Inn & Suites is located directly on NJ-73 in Hammonton, New Jersey. This places it along a state highway, which typically means easy access for drivers and a visible presence. Hammonton itself is known for its agricultural roots, particularly blueberries, and hosts various local events and sports activities. For guests, the primary advantage of this location is its direct proximity to specific destinations, as indicated by reviews mentioning soccer tournaments.

Being on a highway, the immediate environment around the motel is likely characterized by other commercial properties, such as gas stations, fast-food restaurants, or other businesses catering to travelers. While specific details about the surrounding area's aesthetic are not provided, guests should expect a functional, roadside environment rather than a scenic or pedestrian-friendly one. Access to essential services like grocery stores or dining options might require driving, even if they are in the general vicinity of Hammonton.

Accommodation and Features:

The Red Carpet Inn & Suites offers rooms that, according to guest experiences, vary significantly in quality and condition. Reviews frequently mention a disparity between expectations, potentially set by online pictures, and the reality of the rooms upon arrival. Guests have reported instances where reserved room types (e.g., king non-smoking) were not provided, leading to alternative room assignments.

A consistent theme in the provided reviews regarding the rooms is a significant concern over cleanliness and maintenance. Specific issues highlighted include:

  • Stained bed skirts and visibly dirty comforters.
  • Beds held up by bricks, indicating structural deficiencies.
  • Poorly functioning air conditioning units.
  • Exposed wires in multiple locations, raising safety concerns.
  • Non-functional bedside lights.
  • Presence of pests, specifically a "roach ran across the floor."
  • Stains and particles on bathroom walls.
  • Rooms smelling strongly of smoke and sewer, even in designated non-smoking rooms (though one non-smoking room thankfully did not smell like smoke).
  • Bathroom issues such as no sink within the bathroom itself (sink located in a "so-called kitchen" area), water damage and "big bubbles about to fall" from the bathroom ceiling, and paint peeling behind the toilet and on walls.
  • Disgusting kitchen cabinets, broken light fixture glass above the sink, and falling-apart cabinet doors and drawers with "roaches poop all over."
  • Lack of a P-trap in the kitchen sink, contributing to the sewer smell.
  • Blackout shades that do not effectively block out light.

Guests have also noted that the overall appearance of the rooms, particularly some standard ones, does not align with "online pictures." The sentiment expressed is that "this room look nothing like" what was advertised. While there is a mention of "upgraded rooms available," the general experience for many appears to be one of disappointment regarding the condition and amenities for the price paid.

Services and Amenities:

Based on the customer reviews, the primary "service" aspect highlighted is the hotel's proximity to local events, such as soccer tournaments, which appears to be the main reason guests choose this accommodation despite its reported shortcomings. Beyond this locational convenience, specific details about other traditional hotel services (e.g., front desk hours, housekeeping frequency, internet access, breakfast offerings) are not provided in the given reviews. However, the mention of a room with a "so-call kitchen" and a "nasty microwave" suggests that some rooms may attempt to offer self-catering amenities, though their condition is highly criticized.

The guest feedback implies a lack of proactive maintenance and renovation from the ownership, with calls for the "Owner, have some pride of your facility, don't just pocket the money, renovate." This suggests that guests perceive a deficiency in the ongoing care and upgrading of the property, which directly impacts the guest experience. The severe issues described, such as health and safety concerns (exposed wires, roaches, sewer smell, water damage), point to a significant gap in property management and guest comfort standards.

The sentiment "I would not rent this room to a homeless person" further emphasizes the extreme dissatisfaction with the accommodation's condition and the perceived lack of basic standards of cleanliness and habitability.

Promotional Information and Guest Experience:

From the provided reviews, the Red Carpet Inn & Suites 524 NJ-73 Hammonton NJ does not appear to have significant positive promotional information based on guest experiences, beyond its location convenience for specific events. The reviews are overwhelmingly negative, using strong language to describe dissatisfaction.

The phrases "This was the worst accommodation I have ever paid for. Avoid at all costs," and "what the fudge did I rent?" clearly convey a highly negative guest experience. The reviews suggest that the "proximity to the tournament fields was the only thing that worked for this place." The comparison of the experience to expectations is consistently unfavorable, with guests feeling they "paid too much for what was available at this motel."

The warnings against being "fooled with the online pictures" indicate a perceived discrepancy between online representations and the actual state of the rooms. The suggestion that "Those who gave good reviews are probably family or are dirty like the rooms" reflects a deep distrust and frustration from the dissatisfied guests.

The experience of guests sleeping in their clothes to avoid contact with dirty sheets highlights a severe breakdown in basic comfort and hygiene. This direct testimony serves as the most impactful "promotional" information available, albeit in a cautionary sense. The hotel's phone numbers are (609) 561-6200 and +1 609-561-6200.

In conclusion, while Red Carpet Inn & Suites 524 NJ-73 Hammonton NJ offers a location convenient for specific events in Hammonton, potential guests are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and manage their expectations regarding the condition, cleanliness, and overall quality of the accommodations, based on the highly critical and detailed negative reviews available online.

Im not the type of person that complains easily. I needed a hotel to stay overnight with my son who had a two days soccer tournament. Im not sure about other rooms, but the one I got 228 2nd floor, the minute I walked in I asked myself what the fudge did I rent? Im not kidding when I say this, the room smelled like smoke and sewer, bed sheet had stains, bathroom is disgusting with no sink. The sink is out in the so call kitchen. (I guess the people wash their mouth in the kitchen sink). Bathroom ceiling had water damage and had big bubble about to fall. Paint peeling behind the toilet and walls are dirty. As I was looking where can the sewer smell be coming from, I found theres no P-trap in the kitchen sink. The kitchen cabinet is disgusting. Light fixture above the sink glass broken and the cabinets doors and drawers falling apart and roaches poop all over. I wish I can post picture so you can see I not lying about it. Mr. Owner, have some pride of your facility, don't just pocket the money, renovate. Aahhh, and don’t forget to throw out that nasty microwave. Me personally I would not rent this room to a homeless person. Don't get fooled with the online pictures, this room look nothing like. LOL. Im sorry my son, that we had no choice at time we arrive to change my mind and go some place else. Those who gave good reviews are probably family or are dirty like the rooms. I asked my son to sleep with his clothes on and so did I. I would not let my or my son skin touch that nasty bed sheet.

Everything about the place was terrible, except for the man at the front desk. We walked into our room and the first thing we see is the second bed without sheets, urine stains on the mattress and the mattress laying on the floor because of a broken frame. The main king bed had burn holes in the sheets from a partially smoked blunt that happened to be on the floor next to the bed. We left immediately and have been trying to get a refund for 3 days but each time they say the manager will be in tomorrow at 1pm…he never is. We didn’t expect anything fancy but this room was completely inhabitable. I would recommend sleeping in your car before staying here.

The most horrific experience I’ve ever had!! Three days prior to the ceiling falling in, in my bathroom almost hitting my 2 year old daughter on the head, I contacted the front desk for the problem at hand. The office manager “Patel” did not want to come look at the flooding, nor give me his number or the “new” owners “Nick”, number to send the photos and videos too. There is so much more wrong! There was no WiFi for days on end, but don’t you worry! “Comcast will be here tomorrow!” When you shower the water does not go down, and it smells like human fecal. The lamp by the bed side was broken. But don’t you worry! “The maintenance man will be here by noon!” DISCLAIMER: there is no maintenance man!!!! There was a burn whole from a cigarette or cigar on the “bed spreads” bigger than my child’s head; in a “non smoking” room! Gave it too them on a Monday was told by Wednesday when the linens truck came I’d have a new bed spread! Welp here we are 3 months later still no bed spread! The cockroaches are in every room all over the walls and counter tops. If you ask for toilet paper, towels, light bulbs or anything you have to wait hours! The power repeatedly goes out, when you call they say give me time; or stop using the “hair dryer” when it’s just the people who live there (cooking/airfrying)! The cleaners are the wives of the new owners and front desk managers, they are newer recently and the husband screams at the wife and is very nasty to her in front of children. He told her a few days ago looking at a room, “This room better be spotless or else!” They claim the hotel is all remodel and brand new! Disgusting, horrific, extremely dangerous experience. Proceed with caution!!!!!

This place is a dump the bathroom was missing ceiling tiles, and the ones that are there are stained and falling down. The bed spread had huge stains on it. There were also feces on the bathroom wall. I would never stay there again
