For local users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Berlin, New Jersey area, Red Carpet Inn Berlin, NJ, located at 1036 NJ-73, Berlin, NJ 08009, USA, is a property that may appear in search results. As a platform category focused on providing nearby services, it is important to provide an objective introduction to this hotel, based on available information, to help potential guests make informed decisions. The Red Carpet Inn brand is generally known for providing budget-friendly accommodations, and this particular location aims to serve travelers seeking an economical place to stay in the Berlin region of New Jersey.
The environment of Red Carpet Inn Berlin, NJ, based on customer reviews, presents a mixed picture. Its location on NJ-73 suggests it is situated along a main thoroughfare, likely providing easy access for those traveling by car. This type of roadside location is common for budget hotels, offering convenience for transient guests or those needing to be near local businesses or attractions accessible by vehicle. However, the internal environment, as described by past guests, raises significant concerns. Reviews consistently mention "a horrible smell" and rooms that were "used and not cleaned." Specific feedback cites "dirty stains on bed walls and carpet," which paints a picture of an environment that may not meet standard cleanliness expectations. The lack of proper cleaning extends to "bathroom was used and not cleaned" and "bed pillow cases have been through nasty times." These descriptions suggest an environment that is currently struggling with hygiene and overall upkeep, creating a less than ideal guest experience. For users specifically looking for a comfortable or pleasant environment, these direct accounts of the property's condition are critical to consider.
The services at Red Carpet Inn Berlin, NJ, as detailed by customer feedback, appear to be a major point of contention. The primary concern revolves around customer service at the front desk. Guests report that the "staff is absolutely rude" and "barely spoke English," which can lead to significant communication barriers and a negative first impression. One guest mentioned waiting "almost an hour for help at front desk for check-in," indicating potential understaffing or inefficient processes. Furthermore, there are serious allegations regarding refund policies, with a guest stating they were "told i will get a refund. Never recieved it. Called multiple times. They avoid answering." This suggests a lack of responsiveness and accountability when issues arise, which is a critical service failure. The absence of basic amenities like readily available coffee, as well as fundamental issues such as "water was ice cold even after running water for a while" for showers, further highlights service deficiencies that impact guest comfort and convenience. While budget hotels often have limited services, the reported issues go beyond basic limitations and instead point to a breakdown in fundamental hospitality standards. The lack of care or concern from management when issues were raised, as described by a disappointed guest, also contributes to a negative perception of the hotel's service commitment.
The features of Red Carpet Inn Berlin, NJ, based on the customer reviews, primarily focus on the room conditions. Guests report that rooms were "nothing like the picture," which is a significant discrepancy and a common complaint when hotel images do not accurately represent the reality. Beyond the visual discrepancies, the functional features of the rooms also appear to be problematic. The presence of "bad smell" is a recurring issue, indicating potential underlying maintenance or cleanliness problems. The descriptions of "dirty stains on bed walls and carpet" point to a lack of upkeep and cleanliness standards within the guest rooms themselves. The specific mention of "bed pillow cases have been through nasty times" is a direct indicator of poor linen hygiene. The inability to take a shower due to "ice cold water" suggests issues with the hot water supply, a fundamental feature expected in any accommodation. While the hotel is identified by its address, 1036 NJ-73, Berlin, NJ 08009, USA, and contact numbers (phone: (856) 768-5353; mobile: +1 856-768-5353), these practical features are overshadowed by the reported deficiencies in the actual room conditions and operational standards. For travelers, particularly those with children, the condition of the rooms and the basic functionality of amenities are paramount, and the reviews suggest significant shortcomings in these areas at this location.
Regarding promotional information, it is challenging to extract positive promotional aspects directly from the provided customer reviews, as they are overwhelmingly negative. The reviews serve more as warnings rather than endorsements, with explicit advice such as "don’t wasted ur money on this hotel!" and "Safe yourself the stress and find a nicer hotel stay over." The very low rating implied by "They don’t deserve 1 star" indicates a severe lack of guest satisfaction. While hotels often promote themselves on price, the sentiment expressed by a guest who "paid $114 to stay in this nasty place" suggests that even at a budget price point, the perceived value was extremely poor due to the quality issues. For local users utilizing the "Hotels Near Of Me" search, these direct accounts of negative experiences are crucial, as they provide real-world insights that override any generic promotional claims a budget hotel might make. The promotional information for this specific Red Carpet Inn location, derived from customer feedback, is one of caution and dissatisfaction, focusing on reported issues with cleanliness, customer service, and room conditions rather than positive features. Potential guests should be aware that the primary "promotional" takeaway from these reviews is a strong recommendation to consider alternative accommodations due to significant reported problems during their stay. The hotel's direct phone lines, (856) 768-5353 and +1 856-768-5353, remain available for anyone wishing to make direct inquiries, though the reviews suggest potential challenges in receiving satisfactory responses.

Jan 08, 2025 · DiNaijah C.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$!!!Worst experience ever with booking a hotel room, especially when mgmt doesn't even consider giving you back 50% of refund for uninhabitable conditions!!! **Guess it was my fault that our family didn't have to take a s*** when first checking in/picking up our key cards bc the excuse from mgmt of no refund was that "we had occupied the room for a few hours already so there was nothing they could do about it?!!" Ummmm, NO!! Uninhabitable is uninhabitable, no matter how long you stay somewhere... period! Have already filed couple complaints between the Better Business Bureau & Consumer Complaint Division in NJ & intend on being reimbursed from my credit card company for at least 1 of our 2 rooms for non-working plumbing. Disgusting & revolting... STAY AWAY!!
