Jun 13, 2025 · Nithisha sai VallabhaneniProbably worst hotel customer experience I have ever had. After checking in i was told elevator is broken and would have to use the stairs. I rented for a family member and they needed to wash clothes. Well washer and dryer were out of order. There was also no pool, a coffee station in lobby but no coffee. Vending machines were empty, 30 mins after booking I asked to cancel the 2 nights to move family to another hotel and was told it was non refundable. I advise book through booking or expedia because they will help better than anyone here at this poorly operated hotel. Also booked for 2 people and added a 3rd child and was told to pay $10 extra for the person per night. So they charged another $20 because manager said he saw it on camera, so yeah they watch you on cameras but the manager would not speak to me on phone just passing message along to person through phone. I have always book rooms for 2 and take my family of 4 and have never heard of them up charging...owners are from another country so that has a lot to do with it. Has to be a form of franchising. I saw Laquinta down the road after booking...same price with a pool working elevators washer and dryer and breakfast included 🤦♂️...reviews show the same responses for months so its clear nothing is being done to correct the problem.
Jun 06, 2025 · FUNomenal Family Channel!!!AVOID!!! Lets go from bad to worse, To far from anything interesting in San An. The parking lot was empty except for one truck. The lobby had nothing but the front desk, a table for a "coffee station" and one luggage cart. It also smelled moldy and of some kind of chemical as soon as the front doors opened. The room was hot and stuffy with a very basic and depressing look, almost warehouse like, with bed frames made of wobbly metal that makes so much noise with any little movement and a closet with poorly painted doors and nothing but a metal rod inside. I went around the room checking everything as I always do and that's when I saw some ¿makeup? stains on the side of one of the pillows. Both bath towels and hand towels had big yellow stains as well. The toilet seat had a brown blob on it. We were too tired to fuss much and we were only there for one night but an emergency came up not even 15 mins into our stay that made us change our plans. The previously very sweet and cheerful front desk man got snappy and defensive as soon as I explained the situation and asked for a refund. He ended up charging us 15% of the room fee ($100 for 2 hard queen beds) Ive stayed at red roofs before and none have ever been so disappointing(PS. Ended up in the Holiday Inn on palmyra. It's only a few dollars more for the same accommodation but its a HUGE difference in quality)
Mar 21, 2025 · Nikki EI wish I would of read the reviews before booking this hotel! This is the WORST experience I've ever had. Everything the previous people complained in the comments are TRUE! The elevator was not working, their was NO complimentary hand soap, shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in the room. You have to go get a small tube from downstairs. They have no irons in the room or ironing boards. You have to book an upgraded room to be provided those items. They don't mention that when checking in . The metal bed frame squeaks everytime you turn. The sheets were DISGUSTING!!! The sheets had yellow STAINS on the fitted sheets , the comforter had brown stains, makeup on the pillow! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ! UNTIL THEY CAN LEARN LEARN BETTER CUSTOMER SKILLS AND THE SHAME OF IT ALL IS ITS PROBABLY THE OWNERS OF THIS PLACE THAT NEED A COACHING ! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!! They try to justify themselves for every concern I had. I wish I could of gotten my money back.
Apr 05, 2025 · Kimberly MoralesLike the other reviews say, the man working at the front desk has an attitude and is aggressive. I asked him for a key to my room and because he had to get his lazy self up from the back room starting giving me an attitude, telling me the key I have should work. I told him he didn’t and the way he spoke to me was unprofessional. He was acting like he was being inconvenienced for doing his job. Every interaction I had with him was unpleasant and I generally don’t ask for much. When I was running FIVE MINUTES late from checking out I got a nasty call from him telling me I needed to leave and he hung up in my face. Father like son, his son who works during the day is lazy. He was on a personal phone call playing on his laptop on the couch by the reception desk. I asked him a question and instead of placing his personal call on hold he held his finger up to my and tried gesturing the answer to my question. So I said forget it and walked away. There were towels in the rooms, even after I asked for some they didn’t bring any. The elevator has been broken for almost 3 months. (I stayed here a couple times, this last time being my last) and they won’t fix it. So if you can’t take stairs don’t go here. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen. The staff is lazy and become argumentative when they have to get up from the back office to do their job. Don’t go here unless you’re desperate. Even after the terrible reviews of customer service I read before writing this one, they see those reviews and continue their behavior.
