My daughter had a wedding planned at Crossed Key Estates for September 2024. The preferred hotel was the Holiday Inn that shares a parking lot with this Marriott hotel. She planned to have the after party at the Holiday Inn and the Marriott was the secondary hotel on the list. We had an absolute disaster with the Holiday Inn hotel. They were unprofessional, did not hold the amount of rooms that they were supposed to and were blatantly rude when we went there to plan the after party. The bartender yelled at us, you can imagine how upset my daughter was because this all happened a month before her wedding day. Amanda, at the Marriott that shares this parking lot was absolutely amazing and saved the day! She was courteous, helpful and guided us through not only adding additional rooms for our guests, but also creating an amazing environment for an after party. This Marriott, Amanda and the entire team there truly put my daughter at ease and went out of their way well above the scope of a hotel to make it a memorable experience! They even allowed my daughter to have her trial make up done there as well. This review is a long time coming, but as you can tell, I am very passionate about making sure that anyone and everyone knows How amazing this hotel is and How they genuinely care about their reputation and their clients. If you are having a wedding in the area, trust me, this is the place to go to! Do not go to the Holiday Inn! At the Marriott - you will not be disappointed, and their breakfast is amazing too. From the cleanliness of the rooms, to the entire team, the facilities and the breakfast this is a win win win! Amanda was a lifesaver, She’s A fabulous representation of the Marriott Brand!

Apr 12, 2025 · Irene AmatoNot bad, the breakfast was ok, don’t get the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel for breakfast. The people at the front need to speak louder over the phone, I was barely able to hear them. It was nice and quiet. The room was nice and the TV worked. They had a nice court yard as well.
Apr 12, 2025 · John MastroianniThis is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for several reasons. 1. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. 2. Gym has really good treadmills 3. There is a wedding party virtually every night that’s a blast but I never once heard the party in my room and most impressive 4. During my 2 week stay, didn’t hear the cleaning staff slam one door. And any night shift worker out there knows how rare that is. 5. Cookware provided is good. Nonstick and new 6. Most of the laundry machines worked and one cycle got the job done.
Nov 22, 2024 · S SharpIf you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to go camping in the Arctic without actually leaving New Jersey, allow me to recommend the Residence Inn in Mount Olive. We checked into our room—knowing full well someone was about to occupy it—and were greeted by a balmy 35° temperature. Who needs a fancy amenity like heat, right? It took a solid hour (give or take a frozen toe) for the room to warm up enough so our breath wasn’t fogging up the mirrors. Naturally, when we reported this, the maintenance guy shrugged it off and said it was the major service’s fault, which apparently absolves him from flipping a switch or even apologizing. Then, to add insult to frostbite, my wife tried to blow-dry her hair and the steam set off the smoke detector—because clearly, a bit of hot air is more than this place can handle. But wait, there’s more: after returning from a wedding, we woke up to no power. No power meant no heat, no lights, no coffee, and absolutely no reason to stay in bed (unless you enjoy hypothermia). The management and staff repeatedly pointed fingers at the owners for not having a generator, which was super comforting as I shivered my way into the lobby. Apparently, they couldn’t cook any breakfast either—something about needing electricity to operate stoves—and the coffee supply promptly went lukewarm. All in all, if you’re looking for an unforgettable polar expedition without the airfare, you’ve come to the right place. Just don’t expect any sympathy, or, you know, room heat.
Jan 06, 2025 · George CamachoDO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. We are long time Marriott members and this was the worst Marriott experience of our lives. We had over the course of one year five different sales representatives-all of whom were impossible to get a hold of. Our final sales rep called me the day before our wedding to let me know that all of our rooms in our block for immediate family and bridal party were cancelled-including our room for our wedding night. My husband and father had to drive out to the hotel and handle the situation in person since it was so difficult for them to give us the time of day on the phone. Several family members disclosed they had to re-book their rooms several times due to the hotel cancelling for no reason. We had booked a small continental breakfast set up for our getting ready room and we requested a pitcher of water. The front desk rep was incredibly rude and did not want to give us water claiming they were a small hotel and didn't have enough pitchers. The water was supposed to be included in our catering and instead we got an attitude and no hospitality. The entire experience was so incredibly stressful and frustrating. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone trying to plan their wedding or even staying the night. The Holiday Inn across the street where we had our guest block was much more communicative, transparent, and professional. The Residence Inn at Mt. Olive is a disgrace to the Marriott brand.
